    Empires is so special to me and my kids. We looked forward to every episode. They asked for all the plushies for Christmas and birthdays. We sing the Musical all the time on car rides. It makes me a little sad to hear the creators don't believe season 2 was as well received because we loved the crossover event. We're having a great time with SOS, too, but we hope one day Empires S3 will return with the high of season one and the lessons learned from season 2. I think it'd be fantastic. 💚

    To touch on the hyper-information flood - everything bad all at once - I have actually unplugged from the info dumping. I listen to a brief news cycle on the radio on my drive to work. When I first open my computer browser, I'll see a news splash page, and skim a couple headlines. Other than that, my news comes from family/friends/coworkers/my own research into random things of interest. That's it. So now instead of getting flooded by constant sad/evil news, it's small doses at very specific times. Outside that, I'm watching Minecraft videos, comedy, cat videos, travel instagrams, this. You've touched on this in previous podcasts and comments - portion your info inflow, allow your mood and sense to absorb and recover. Know, but don't wallow in it, and it's easier to find happy moments and feel better. Slow things down. I noticed the same, I used to drive aggressive and fast and kept feeling worked up and stressed when I arrived. I deliberately drove the highway speed limit in the slow lane (not a norm in the USA) and I felt so much more relaxed. (Also saved gas and only added a couple minutes to an hour drive).

    -53:16 I watched Tommy and Tubbo, as well as Scott and many others, I got into watching Tommy, Tubbo, and Ran. I thought when I found Tommy that he was too loud and that his content had too much going on, that opinion changed. But as time has gone on since the pendamic, seeing them all grow up and slow down and change things up, had me relise how I've grown with them and have grown to really like slower paste videos and long 30 min to an hour videos. I've always liked videos that have friends just having fun messing around. I remember going on to Scotts stream fornthe first time and going it's so chill and I like this, I think it was during empires season one and relly injoying the vibe.

      I think having that younger group come to light with people my age who started watching them when all of us where in the pandemic and seeing each of there communities grow and develop kind of can show how I don't know, like how the older we get we can have more appreciation for other things like just seeing friends have fun without much worry for making good content, or them just being them selves, I think seeing Tommy be himself more and a little less the persona gave a fresh look I guess he's not as loud or energetic, it was quite nice I guess i don't know

    impulse, you might have heard this before, but in general fan artists don’t design you to be fat because they somehow think you’re unathletic or unhealthy. when you look at people who are very in shape (im not talking body builders or commercial athletes, i mean the people who do a lot of physical labor or recreational sports) they all have very different body types depending on genetics and personal habits. some people with a lot of muscle mass also carry a lot of fat, and that can be healthy for them.
    good character design in art means recognizability and variety. the cast would be boring if they all looked the same, so people will zero in on the personalities you guys preform in the videos and design around those. i imagine impulse is often drawn larger because he is a comforting and protective presence for a lot of people, whereas someone like skizz is more bombastic so he gets drawn taller and larger in the arms. stressmonster also gets drawn fatter pretty often, and that’s because she’s bubbly and friendly, and a rounded character design is effective at communicating her personality.
    i hope this doesnt come off as patronizing because i’m sure you understand some of this, i just want to restate it. the way that artists draw your body type in fanart doesnt reflect their feelings on you, just their interpretation of your personality. body positivity is huge and is gaining a lot of social support in recent years- it’s understanding that no single trait is inherently positive or negative.
    anyways, obviously i dont know you personally so i’m not aware of all your thoughts on the subject, but i hope this helps with any insecurities you may have about how you’re drawn ^_^

    Impulse, people don’t draw you big because they think you’re fat, they draw you big because they see your character as fatherly. You’re often a stable and supportive person for other players, and that is sometimes interpreted by artists.

      @pencils7351 3 месяца назад +10

      Tbh I see his character design as very similar to Stoick the Vast from How To Train Your Dragon. Sure he's big, and yeah there's gotta be a decent amount of fat there, but there's a lot of strength too. Muscle actually weighs more than fat bc it's more dense, and it seems the type of build where most of the weight is muscle, just rounding the edges with a healthy amount of fat
      I mean, look at strongman competitors. They curate their bodies purely for strength, but they also look like they'd give great hugs. That's what true strength looks like, a square and not a triangle. Honestly, a little fat might make your center of gravity harder to shake, which is great for certain fighting styles
      Going back to Stoick, he's like peak protector, and a kind man under the muscle hidden by fat. His body is filled out, and that adds to his father role. The stability of a mountain, and the strength to match. He's a terrifying force to face, and a comforting one to be protected by
      My mom is overweight, by a decent amount, but anytime me and her are play fighting (we have a great relationship lol) it's a genuine competition with chances of either winning. When she started trying to lose weight at the beginning of this year, she went into the clinic to get her true makeup of what the weight was, and she actually has really good muscle mass. So the trick was, losing fat without losing muscle, harder than it sounds. I've felt that strength first hand lol, her main issue is her joints and back when it comes to actually lifting things

    Scott's description of the social battery is perfect. People think being introverted means being socially awkward, shy, quiet, etc. but it has nothing to do with that. Introverts can be chatty, friendly, etc. as easily as extroverts. The difference is what recharges them. Introverts need to be alone to recharge, whereas extroverts need interaction to recharge.

    I really loved Scott’s insights on Empires 2; I agree, the audience could tell how burnt out you all were by the end of the rift.
    I think the “no lore” turn of sos was a funny bit to remove the stress from the creators… but also doesn’t solve the audience issues, because Fwhip got so much hate for the “no lore” rule he almost quit the series.
    I’d love to see an empires 3, where y’all issue more audience warnings like Life does. Stating clearly “we are friends, you don’t need to keyboard warrior for us.” But I get why you wouldn’t want to keep it going either.

    • @dania4407
      @dania4407 5 месяцев назад +24

      Yeah, season 2 pretty much died after the crossover. As soon as the crown came back I lost interest. I think if they do an S3, they should just go full improv, because another layer of this is that planning everything out would work if they were actors/writers, but they’re not, so the storyline fell flat.
      I like MCSOS but the views on the series are very, VERY low. Like Jimmy isn’t hitting 50k and he has a million subs, so there’s clearly something that the audience is missing.

    • @ms_scribbles
      @ms_scribbles 5 месяцев назад +24

      I feel bad for fWhip because with the "fans", he couldn't win either way. He played along with the lore, played out the character he wanted to play, and he got hate. So, he insisted on no lore and just them playing together, and the "fans" still hated on him.

      I think SOS is suffering because it is yet another short series from the same group who don't officially end their series properly. Where is the incentive to watch if it's going to die down when they feel it's just time to end?

    Mature viewer here. Absolutely agree with the chill, longer, less produced videos. Even as I fuss about the "popcorn" mentality of social media/content, etc., I am guilty of having two monitors and an ipad feeding me constantly. It is situational for me. My mood determines how much I want to consume at once. I do want to say, however, the feeling of this season of HC is absolutely perfect for me. It is more about having fun playing MC than forcing fast-paced mega builds. Each new season starts out with this vibe but quickly loses it as Hermits spread out and begin their mega bases. I am desperately hoping this fun, chill vibe lasts the entire season. Regardless, I'm here for the Hermits either way no matter what they do. Love all the faces. :)

  • @wingus4860
    @wingus4860 5 месяцев назад +112

    As an artist, I just want to say that anyone can draw. It is one of the most accessible activities one could partake in. A testament to that is children do it all the time. It's unfair to say you're unable to draw because you can't draw a face. Drawing a face is one of the hardest things to master because we see faces all the time so we know when they look wrong almost immediately. Same goes for being able to draw what you see in your head. Artists aren't born with these skills; it is something you have to keep practising over time.
    For Scott and anyone who wants to get into art/drawing but are stuck in that cycle of burnout, setting a goal to draw just 10 minutes (or shorter) a day will help with that. It doesn't have to be a crazy finished piece or anything super elaborate. The consistency is important here, not the output. If at the end of those 10 mins. you feel like drawing more, then go for it but if at any point beyond that allotted time you're not feeling the drawing anymore, then stop.
    I'd encourage everyone to give it a try and I hope y'all have a nice day :D

      If I may add, speaking as someone who has taught others how to draw, it's useful to do at least some of your sketches with ballpoint pens and/or markers. You can learn how to roll with mistakes, be happy with accidents, and eventually, be bold and comfortable with just making lines and strokes without constantly second guessing yourself. If you only ever draw with pencils, you can wind up leaning too heavily on the crutch of erasers. Working in a permanent medium (paint, even) gets you out of that mental rut and lets you get comfortable with just making something and tuning your brain-hand connections.

    • @ivoryquills
      @ivoryquills 5 месяцев назад +2

      I agreee wholeheartedly! If you spend a year really trying to draw, you WILL get better, it’s just a matter of finding the materials, topics, and ROUTINE that work for you! Another thing is people hate on tracing art, but as long as you aren’t pretending it’s yours and sharing it, its one of the best ways to get better (in my opinion)

    I think the role-playing thing and lore cons arise from doing one thing wrong.
    My most important rule when doing Roleplay is to always know the past, but never the future. Like, you can decide what's the backstory of your character and you can decide they're talking style, their clothes and stuff but never know what they will do. Or story beats. Because you're not writing a story. You're roleplaying. In roleplay, you need to play off of other people. And not try to be the main character all the time. You can never thrive in improvisation if you're constantly thinking about the story beats you decided before you even knew your character and how the audience is reacting to it, whether or not something is fun or if something is starting to get boring. You can only do these things if you're open to improve. And improve comes from knowing the past and the character. NOT from knowing the Future of the story

    Okay skizz i understand what you mean with it that you can close your eyes and you can imagine what scott looks like but are not able to draw it.
    That is the issue for most of the artists. for us artists it is often said that IF you use references its a shame so for a long time nobody ever said that they get inspired and have multiple pictures for just one little object. but guess what! I also know exactly what a strawbery looks like.. what my boyfriend looks like.. what my cat looks like.
    but i an NOT able to do it without references because that is a WHOLE DIFERENT LEVEL ^^
    My teacher once told me "draw what you see!" we just had a stupid peanut infront of us. but it was so hard until he told us to focus on the lines and giving it like horizontal and vertical lines to focus in just small parts when you detail. you know ^^
    so i believe everybody can learn drawing with a little patiencen... AND DUDE YOU PROVED IT WITH LEARNING TO SPIN A DAMN BOOK ON YOUR FINGER. xD

    WOOOOO PART 2 WITH SCOTT SMAJOR LETS GOOOOOOO
    I find it really interesting at 55:00 how you guys start talking about how the artists of the fandom design your characters and how you react to it! You usually don't see content creators' perspectives on how fans draw their characters. And I felt like it would be interesting to provide the perspective of someone who is IN the fandom and sees a lot of Imp and Skizz fanart. Because these designs do not happen randomly and they aren't always 100% based on the content creator's physical characteristics! There are actual reasons and motives for why artists decide to draw Impulse's character fat or Skizz's character body builder-ish. I can't really speak on Smajors character designs because I know less about those, but I know for sure artists have reasons for drawing him as they do.
    I'll tackle Impulse's character first because his character has a surprising amount of analytical fandom reasons for being drawn fat. Yes, bear with me, I swear this is interesting!
    The most obvious one is because content creator Impulse has that body type (for now). Some artists prefer sticking close to the content creator's real-life body types as a way to portray them as "accurately" as possible. The Minecraft Creator community includes a lot of different types of people with a lot of different types of bodies and artists want to show that off. They want to celebrate the diversity of the community through their designs. Therefore, character Impulse gets drawn fat with white hairs because the man behind him is a fat middle-aged father, a demographic not usually represented in the Minecraft Creator community outside of Hermitcraft. This is a good thing since it shows that people like Impulse can thrive in this community, a community mainly made up of a younger demographic, too! An example of this outside of Impulse is how some artists draw GoodTimesWithScar's character as physically disabled because Scar the creator is physically disabled, even if Scar's Minecraft block avatar is not disabled. In a way, they're trying to make this community welcoming for everyone, regardless of body type and ability.
    On the same line of thought, some artists draw character Impulse with a bigger body type because they themselves have that body type. Bigger body types are not as well-represented in media and fandom compared to thinner body types, so fat artists make due by making their own. As noted in this very episode, many people turn to Impulse's streams and videos for comfort and as a break from the taxing world we live in. Artists expand on this by creating art that comforts them, which includes drawing their favorite characters (in this case, Impulse) to have similar traits to them, especially traits that are usually seen by society as something bad. It's a sort of "Well, I'm making my favorite character fat and they're not gonna be treated differently for it. And if they love themselves and their body then I sure as hell can do it too!". And this isn't just for the artist either! Other fans who have those traits can also get that same feeling from seeing a character they love looking like them! It's similar to what Scott describes in this pod where people have told him they've become more comfortable in their LGBTQIA+ identities because he's an openly happy gay man. They see someone who's similar to them and who is also happy and successful, so they now have a reason to believe that they can be that too!
    And, perhaps most interestingly, character Impulse being drawn fat actually reflects the fandom's understanding of who the character of Impulse is. In the fandom, Impulse is usually seen and characterized as a sweet, caring, and helpful happy-go-lucky guy. He lends resources to his friends when they need them, he helps them with redstone or gives his perspective on builds, he avoids conflict, he's a people pleaser, and he has so much dad energy it's not even funny. There's also his voice! Impulse's "youtuber voice" is higher energy and when he does it, it makes it sound like he's smiling at all times. And even without RUclipsr voice, Impulse's voice simply sounds light and happy to a lot of people. All of this combined makes for a character most people in the fandom interpret as approachable, soft, friendly, stable, strong, and trustworthy, and artists use these traits in their designs. There's something called shape language in art, where certain geometric shapes are used in character design to evoke different emotions about that character for the audience. In this, the shapes that embody the traits I listed are the circle and the square, both of which usually produce character designs with bigger body types. Examples of characters like this are Po from Kung Fu Panda and Baymax from Big Hero 6. Both are very kind, caring, and positive characters! So when people draw character Impulse as fat, they don't mean it in an unhealthy way. They mean it an "Oh he's such a sweetheart, I wanna hug him." way. This fact is also hilarious considering Impulse doesn't like hugs. Man was cursed with having the voice and body of a very huggable man despite very much not liking hugs LOL.
    Then there's the fact that character Impulse does actually get drawn as buff. A lot. He's just not drawn as bodybuilder buff. People don't really realize sometimes that truly physically strong people have to have body fat on them because that body fat literally helps them move more weight and protects them from possible injury. The thin-bodied bulging muscles of bodybuilders usually require unhealthy amounts of dehydration to achieve and they really can't lift anything heavy for an extended time. It's just for show, really. Character Impulse is simply drawn more strongman buff than bodybuilder buff, possibly because the rampant dad energy makes people assign him protective traits. Y'know, a big strong protective father type.
    Speaking of bodybuilder buff, onto character Skizz! Most of what I've said about character Impulse applies to character Skizz as well in some way (him having scars, him having massive dad energy, and similar shape language used are examples) so I won't repeat myself.
    But what makes character Skizz's designs interesting is how it plays into a popular fandom trope. There's this character type that's really popular in almost all fandom spaces, and it's called a "Himbo". A Himbo is a man who embodies very traditionally masculine qualities (strong, protective of his friends, loyal to the end.) BUT he's also extremely kind and soft-hearted! And he's also dumb as a brick! Himbos are everywhere in fandom, including right here. There's no doubt that a big part of the designs for character Skizz is influenced by Himbos. I mean, think about it. Character Skizz does have a lot of traditional (and usually overblown for comedy) manly mannerisms like talking about how big his muscles are or going completely berserk in the Life series. But he's also a complete sweetheart who complements people out of nowhere and lets himself be a shoulder to cry on for others. And well, we all know Skizz has his moments when he's just. a little bit of a moron. He puts a block in a chest and then starts panicking because he can't find the block he just put away. This is not an insult towards creator Skizz by the way, he's obviously not stupid! What he does is that he plays up his stupid moments for the content, which makes character Skizz seem like a doofus at times. Character Skizz has Himbo qualities, so he gets designed like a Himbo. And Himbos are usually drawn as buff, "in shape" guys who look like they could beat you to a pulp because that's part of their charm. They're very masculine, but they're still loving and caring and also affectionately stupid.
    And, at the end of the day, people draw Minecraft Creator Characters with different body types because it's good practice. Fanart is a way to practice your anatomy and your skill in drawing different kinds of people while also being able to show it off to a larger community and get feedback. If artists wanna get better at drawing people, they gotta learn how to draw fat people, skinny people, disabled people, abled people, young people, old people, people of different races and ethnicities, people with scars, etc. Of course, you could just draw the same body type over and over again if you wanted, but that can get pretty stale and you're much less likely to make it anywhere in a career or a community. Drawing more types of people just makes your art better and more varied and you acquire more artistic skills. So it's quite possible that artists saw characters like Impulse or Skizz and decided that they were gonna use those characters in their art to practice and learn new skills. Then they get to become better artists while also having fun drawing their favorite characters! Sometimes it's just as simple as that.
    What I'm getting at here is that when people draw character Impulse fat, it's not because they wanna emphasize anything about the content creator. Neither do the VAST majority of artists do it to imply someone is unhealthy or "out of shape". It's all done out of love of the content and usually of the creator that makes that content, as well as the community we're all a part of! Of course, this doesn't mean that the creators can't feel uncomfortable or disappointed when their fans interpret them with a trait they're not the biggest fan of. It's human, after all. But idk, I suppose I just wanted to point out that this perspective is the one that exists amongst the fans, and that it's not done out of malice or mockery.
    Thank you for reading my essay? I suppose? I hope it gave you some unique perspective!

      This is so well said! As an artist who values diversity on my own work, I really love how much character some of the artists of this fandom bring to their own pieces!
      Like it was said, drawing a character being fat isn't mockery, it comes from love! Learning how to draw other body shapes IS HARD! It's so easy to fall in the comforts of just one body shape, one face structure, that you u gotta put a lot of practice and dedication on it if u want to be diverse! It comes from an artist wanting to be better and do better, wanting to represent, to inform, to connect, to give life to their work. One of my favorite characters of all time is on my favorite list mostly because she looks like me! Her body type, her height, her hair, I just instantly connected! That's why the diversity is so important.
      One wonderful example of the shape language mentioned in the comment is the characters from the movie inside out. Joy is based on a shining bright star. Sadness is based on the drop of a tear. Anger is tough as their brick shape, etc. Their designs alone convey so much about their personality, that's another thing that takes a lot of practice for an artist to master.
      Idk how to end this comment lol. I just appreciate it so much what was said above, and I wanted to give more inside perspective as someone who is an artist themselves

      YES! This exactly! I have two reference images of Impulse's character, one when I initially started watching Hermitcraft and then another from like half a year after the first. In the reworked drawing, I made Impulse a bit heavier set, partially because I haven't really drawn heavier set people much and I wanted to challenge myself, and also because after listening to him and watching his videos, I determined that he sounded huggable which I wanted to convey through my art!

      I don't mean to be a downer or discourage creativity, but if the creator seems uncomfortable about being called fat or drawn far heavier than they are, is this still OK? Like some creators encourage these things and that is great, but otherwise maybe consider the art of their character that they commission personally. Just food for thought not trying to be negative.
      I myself am over weight and I don't let it get me down, but if I had a bunch of people constantly referring to me as fat all the time when I was wanting lose some weight it would get to me.

    RE: Cooking for single person - It's SO difficult to cook without wasting food for just one person. Calculating how to use the stuff you have in a way that doesn't man you're eating the same thing for a week straight feels so 'tactical'. When you're cooking for friends, even just two it's easier to use things without being wasteful, but it's also a sort of love language, right? Sharing is caring.

    This episode brought up so many points in content creation as a fan I've been saying/noticing for ages but nobody really mentioned so here's a few so far (30ish min. In)
    I felt as a viewer that Esmp S2 felt more forced and less fun personally, and I feel like I could see that even from a viewer standpoint that the creators kind of lost the passion for it in a way. Same with Afterlife, it was fun until in the end you could tell nobody was on or really cared anymore, (and new life) where the ends to all of those felt so abrupt for so many creators. I think that was because of the rushing to do stuff as well, and the lack of interaction with friends (specifically in esmp2) because that is really what I've seen smps to be about, having fun with your friends and creating silly little stories, but it was a little lost. That's why I love life series, because you can tell the creators are invested.
    The second thing is the shortening of RUclips. Watching some of my favorite creators videos go from 45 to 30 to 20 to 10 minute videos really sucked, because it was watching things become "punchline, punchline, dopamine" even as a younger viewer I miss the long, chill videos. Things like intros and outros cut out, spending three seconds on a topic and moving on, ect really sucks imo to see because I'm not even sure that's what the creators want to make, its just what works now.

    I just wanted to comment as an artist, the reason artists like to draw content creators and their characters as fat, especially cc who are fat irl, is because it's such a happy positive thing for us. We love to see ourselves and our loved ones who are fat represented in characters and see them in this space in a positive light. Cause it's often hard to get that! So yeah! In all the cases I've seen, it's a way of showing our endearment. I'm sorry and feel awful if that upsets content creators or makes them feel bad

The authenticity of unscripted and minimally edited videos feels more like shared experience rather than "content" to merely "consume". What a great podcast episode, and a wonderful interview! I loved scott's explaination of being an introvert who is very good at being an extrovert, but still requires introverted recuperation time. Its something ive tried articulating before but struggled to do.
    I also look back very fondly on the brief real life encounter i had with scott at vegas twitchcon in his meet and greet line. He was SO nice and welcoming immediately... he complimented my shirt and he was wearing a ghibli themed shirt so i complimented him on that and the brief conversation we had was so nice. And his hug was wonderful! I like to think i give good hugs too, (imp and skizz will have to be the judges on that since they got hugs from me too lol you cant hug yourself sadly) but yeah scott is a top tier hugger AND conversationalist. He made me feel welcome and like he was genuinely interested in meeting me.
    NOW-- as for the fanart... i will second other sentiments shared here about how fanartists like to draw more diverse body types for representation, or because they find those body types more attractive, and how those depictions are NEVER meant to be mean or make a CC feel badly about themselves. I also think a lot of people will take personality traits and lend it to the artistic interpretations, too. Like, impulse has major dad vibes, and he's comfy and chill and sweet and kind and all of those things make me think of a teddy bear and other comforting things, things that are usually a little softer and warmer and maybe a bit on the rounder side 😅, but only in the most complimentary way. If that makes any sense

    Most artists listen. If you want your character to be a certain way it's okay like you can say! From what I've seen, people only draw Impulse that way because they imagine your personality to be quite protective and comforting - so the square shapes create that image. Everyone always draws Skizz as kinda ripped mainly because of his minecraft skin xD, and also his personality is very outgoing and self assured. But that's only based on interpretation, and at the end of the day - you can make suggestions as to how you want your character to be drawn!!

    Watching this episode as an hermitcraft fanartist (and overall a mcyt fanartist) i'd love to comment on the part about fanart, and the idea that Impulse has about us drawing him and his character fat!!
    Something that really important for a lot of us is body diversity for character designs. Every season is a new opportunity to re-imagine a new design, a new character with each hermit design. And the challenge is to make out characters designs that would be interesting and fun to draw.
    For Impulses character's they're (the designs) usualy fat or very muscular and large because it's a square shape or a round shape, both shape that really represent impulse's personality and overall vibe. (In character design language which is whole thing)
    We draw for fun, and because we love the characters, we would never put that much effort and passion into something to make fun of someone, we all do it out of love and because we want to draw impulse in a more interesting and accurate way!
    Some of us also love to inspire ourselves from real life in certain ways, like sure this character is from a cool cyberpunk universe, but he doesn't have to be thin to be interesting, he can also be fat !! The same way some artists draw Grian as a super small gremlin man, or s9 Pearl as a tall and lanky alien. Or even just Impulse being drawn as a demon and Skizz as an angel.
    People pretty much want to have fun with interesting design and they're never making fun of the characters they draw!

But if you're going to profit off of it, I'd hope you'd consider donating a % of revenue you made on that stream to education of the Holocaust. Love you guys on hermitcraft, and this podcast a lot of what you have said is meaningful to me.

    I definitely prefer the more laid back style of content. Its also to an extent what makes your group of creators unique.

    OMGosh, one of my top ten favs…confession, I am not a patient person so I waited and watched them both, I hate cliffhangers but I LOVE you all and love your videos and podcasts, heck everything you all do! When you live with chronic pain and are very limited on what you can do, it is such a blessing to have you all!

    art takes time, effort, and constant exercise to be able to make something amazing. everyone has their own style of art and you should never compare your capability and style to that of someone who has been doing it for 10+ years... the person with 10+ years of doing art is going to draw something absolutely amazing and stunning where as the person who's only done it for a few months to a year with little teaching will look like someone slapped a piece of paper with paint. There are ways to take a visualization and put it on paper (or 'paper' when talking about art in digital form)
    Never compare yourself to someone else look at their skill and say "I want to be able to do stuff like that... but in MY style." and don't fret with perfect... perfect is a goal that is exhausting and unachievable.

    I agree the rift collab should have been longer on hermitcraft and shorter on empires. Or maybe it would have been smoother if empires people came over first? So that hermits could kinda learn the lore a bit before going to the other side? Not sure 🤔
