@@mr.sourarmpits1627 Which is good. I drove nothing but a 50CC scooter like that for a few years. Other drivers are incredibly dangerous for slow scooters like that. The crew behind him is like a shield against other drivers that would otherwise pass him super closely or knock him to the side with the wind they produce (mostly SUVs and pickups do this).

As a big fan of Top Gear and Grand Tour, with those shows over (with the original trio) you guys really scratch that itch of wanting to watch a group of guys who love each other, but will simultaneously laugh at your pain, and also race through places they've never been to.

The "poi" Connor ate was in fact, not poi. Poi is made by pounding taro into a paste, which is then eaten. What Connor actually ate from Oahu's famous Poi Factory is actually squid luau, which consists of pieces of squid legs put into a sweet mixture of mashed leaves. Connor was correct, it does not taste the best, but it certainly is very healthy for you.

I actually got to try poi for the first time last year when I went to visit family there. I didn't hate it but it is definitely has a shocking taste. Sour/bitter from what I can remember. I'll have to keep an eye out for squid luau next time we visit.
@@ryana5435No there is poi on the lunch plate, but the main dish is squid luau. A traditional Hawaiian lunch plate is usually made up of 1-2 main dishes plus poi (sometimes rice) and sides. It looks like he got the squid luau as a main and there’s poi visible in one of the cups.
I knew I wasn’t imagining this! A lot of people are scared by the look of squid luau but I’d say it’s like a Hawaiian version of cream of spinach except with coconut milk instead. I really like it but that’s because I grew up eating it. The taste of poi can also vary depending on how fresh it’s made. It’s a bland starch which is why it’s usually eaten alongside something but it can become lighter in color and more sour the longer it sits and ferments. But if it’s too sour for your liking adding a little white sugar helps to neutralize it.
i actually liked squid luau. lau lau was my favorite tho. man i gotta go back to hawaii soon...

Thats not coming from a fan, I stopped watching Trash Taste a year ago, but this is amazing entertainment AND taught me something about Hawai thanks to the well thought out challenges and beautiful camera work
Garnt should've been more careful, Joey's Golf Cart should've been recharged, and Connor doesn't know what a coconut is. But all in all, this was the best special i've seen in a long time. It was really close and really entertaining to watch!

I always had Connor as Hammond (most athletic, Welsh in the way that Hammond is Brummie), Garnt as Clarkson (main man, hates manual labour, complains all the time), and Joey as May (most chill, sensible, seems the nicest )

If it’s just a regular green light however, you can still make the turn but you MUST yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Sometimes, there is so much oncoming traffic that you won’t get an opportunity to turn until your light goes yellow.
