Would you build a Ford like this? Or what would you do differently?
Yes! This build is amazing. I put lots of money into a 2005 F250 (retired and on a budget, it's what I had and paid for) and had all of the 6.0 foibles replaced. Nothing like your rig, however, get compliments on how clean it is regularly. More to do yet, but I love the versatility and the power. Living in Arizona we have long mountain grades to deal with! I'm just curious why you opted for a tremor package? If you're going to remove the entire suspension and replace it with a much better system, why fork over the money to Ford to equip it? Besides that, great setup and looks tight.
@@HumbertoYi0878 Some folks believe that the "net" price increase for a Tremor is worth it for the extra drive modes and front limited slip. Net = after selling the OEM 18 inch wheels and tires. CJC has made that argument on their videos.
OTH, it has been my experience test driving that the Tremor in the OEM configuration, unloaded, has an extraordinarily harsh drive vs. a standard super duty F 250. Thus suggesting a suspension upgrade is needed UNLESS the vehicle will be loaded heavy. So, that is an argument in favor of doing a build on an F250 if the suspension suits your needs better and you don't want to invest in new suspension.
I test drove the F150, F250 and Tremor (F350 suspension) back to back and asked the dealer why the Tremor was so harsh while the regular super duty was almost as "smooth" as the F150. Of course the dealer had no idea.... I researched it and determined it was due to the F350 suspension in the Tremor.
@@jimrice4699 "... due to the F350 suspension in the Tremor" - is this the case for the 20-23 F250 Tremor? I was determined to get the F350 Tremor but a F250 Tremor is basically the same..?
@@christianchilee Correct. The Super Duty Tremor "F250" version has been widely reported to be identical to the F350 in all material respects, including suspension, drivetrain, etc., but is "de-rated" and then listed with a max GVWR of 10,000 lbs to circumvent the higher vehicle taxes charged in some states for higher GVWR vehicles. Also, in Washington State where I live, chains are often required ONLY for vehicles with GVWR over 10,000 lbs (such as when crossing Snoqualmie Pass on I-90). I would NOT want to have to constantly chain up in sloppy winter weather just to go over Snoqualmie Pass while all other vehicles (except Semi's) are flying by with AWD/4WD

There’s nothing tremor left lol 😂 also I’m old 44 I need an ac I’m glad this works for you and your family but I need an ac or I’d die. The four wheel campers route offered one. Does camp x? 😅🤔. I am working on a similar build but going with a flatbed and four wheel hawk camper. I just received my truck (2022 F250) but it’ll be a few more months for the flatbed, camper, and suspension so am currently working on other parts of the build. I am stuck on bumpers…. Have been going back and forth between ADD stealth fighter w/winch and fab fours matrix w/winch. Now, I think that I like your bumper even better than those other two. Can you please tell me who makes it or where I could get one? I did go to the Dissent website but don’t see anything for F250.

Wow!! Is an AC unit an option for the camper, because those Texas summer nights can be long, and hot.
Anything is possible but would add quite a bit to the height
