The Black Isle is very beautiful, all the little villages have their own character.
      Thank you for your comment.

I think that’s the same Fish & Chips shop (the location at least) thatI used to enjoy going to with my Dad - when I was a kid in the 70s - all the way from Avoch to eat at home on a Friday night. What a treat that was 😂

Yes, it could possibly be, it's certainly a very old building, and the flat above the chip shop is up for sale.

That house behind the carpark is the old ticket office and when u get to the corner of station crescent that's where the turntable used to be and the weigh bridge opposite the fire station.

Thank you for the information, that's good to know. It's a pity the line doesn't still operate, would be very useful now I think.

Isn't it strange to see St. Andrew's church that was built long after the demise of Fortrose cathedral with no grave markers in its grounds yet, the Cathedral grounds still had them.

Yes it is, could it possibly be due to its location?
I don't know the answer, but I will try to find out.

@@Brummie-In-The-Highlands It's strange isn't it as it looked like St. Andrews had the space for a graveyard that either wasn't used, or has since been cleared?
