I hate you guys. 😂 Now I gotta buy a Cruzr rig. Question: for comfort, do you ever connect the lineman loops and saddle loops to give a real bucket seat ?
I'm looking to get into saddle hunting but am worried about leg/knee fatigue when attempting all-day sits. It's nothing for me to go out 6+ hours on a ladder stand. I can't imagine standing that long on a platform. Has anyone run into fatigue as an issue?
I am cpl days away from getting my cruzr xc. Been using a climber. Is it expensive? Yeah. But I can resell it if it's not my thing. The customer service is absolutely phenomenal. Punctual and kind and very helpful.
Can't thank you guys enough! I'm new to saddle hunting and was at a loss when it came to putting it all together. Your video was on point and got me started on my way. Thanks again guys!!
Wow glad I found this video, got me thinking. My usual hunting spot was sold, logged and is now private property not to mention, my tree stand and ground blind were both stolen so I'm replacing everything. A ground blind is a must for our area (lots of in climate weather) but this has me thinking different about a tree stand. This system is a bit pricy compared to even a decent 2 man ladder tree stand.
Solid video - let me know what you think of those Cruz saddles! Just getting into my third year, so I'm kind of new also. The one thing I do slightly different is I tie into my tether prior to stepping on the platform - being tied into two points (tether and linesmen) prior to making a move onto a platform, gives me a "double" sense of security. Best of luck to you!
Great video and great info. This is something we have been discussing with our crew. Just seen the cruzr booth at the Tennessee deer rendezvous show. Look forward to the future videos and hello from south eastern tennessee.
Good video for us noobs. This will be my firs season in a saddle and I still haven't decided which to purchase yet. This Cruzr seems to be a good value though. Subscribed
Very informative video guys! I am new to saddle hunting and I’m about to pull the trigger on a Cruzr kit. I was wondering on your tether and lineman ropes what the extra black clip is that attaches to your carabiner along with the prusik knot? It looks like a secondary safety device which I would love to get to feel a little more secure. Do those come on the ropes with the kit or is that something extra I would need to purchase?
I have thought about a Saddle and watched a lot of video`s on them . I have yet got to hear someone say what the weight Cap. they will hold . I`m 320 lb. I use a Ladder Stand or a Tree Climber but it`s getting to be to much weight alone with my also I`m 64 yrs old .
Let me ask you about teathering to tree with the 2teather method,,I have been doing this and it work well with me,,but I seen a video where the guy was showing how he went around limbs,,and he is an older gentleman,,seems to b a veteran of saddle hunting,,because of the way he speaks of the sport,,when he showed his video of crossing over limbs he had carabiner on the eyes of his teather where he girthed the tree,,for quickness,,what’s your thoughts
Great video! Thanks so much as I'm new to saddle hunting and I couldn't find any videos from Cruzr on how to use their saddle (I got a new Archon kit). Thanks to you now I know. Have you had any issues with the Seeker platform when it's wet (or dry)? Other platforms have "grippy knobs" on the sides (ie Tethrd Predator and Trophyline EDP) but the Seeker's sides are smooth (except on top which has grippy knobs). Any slipping when hanging off at an angle?
To be completely honest…..we have had zero complaints about the platform. So slips or issues with side loading at all! Glad our video helped! That’s the reason we made it.
Great video. I’ve about to pull the trigger on a saddle. I’ve been looking at the Cruzr Kit. Your video helped seal the deal for me. I’m just North of Knoxville. Where bouts in Tennessee you all from?
Just found you guys and subscribed just went with the hawk helium complete kit can't wait to get in it got a nice 6 a week ago using sticks and a hang on time to try the new setup thanks for the great info
Attention new saddle hunters....look how far they are from the tree. Without any steps around the three they're stuck in one spot and easily spotted by deer. Use a ROS and strattle the tree. Use tree to hide from deer.
Welcome guys to the cruzr family. Great video. I'm a 3 year saddle hunter.the cruzr xc saddle and seeker platform are the best of the best. I want to officially Welcome you to the CRUZR DEER ASSASSIN FAMILY.i subscribed to your channel. Im up in Kentucky not far from you.ill be watching for more videos. 💯💢👍👈
As far as in tree setup, it really just depends on how you feel most comfortable. Adjusting the tree tether and bridge can completely change how the saddle feels on you.
Great video! Going out to set mine up for the first time today!
Super awesome video. Just bought one and decided I needed to try it
One at home...Love it!
Your pack looks like a bag of smashed hot dogs

What’s the keeper you are using on your tether to keep the loose piece gathered
You should put chapters on this bad boy
Hawk actually makes a platform that attaches to the top of your stick

Your thoroughness and humility serve you well regarding video production. Comprehensive.
Just ordered mine! Awesome video thank you.

It's crazy how expensive just the basic saddle kit is
great video but man 645 dollars for that whole set up is just outlandish for a bunch of ropes, clips and straps. absolutely insanity
Can't thank you guys enough! I'm new to saddle hunting and was at a loss when it came to putting it all together. Your video was on point and got me started on my way. Thanks again guys!!
Thanks for checking us out! Good luck this season

Great video guys. I'm in the process of buying equipment and this vedoe was helpful. Keep the tuturials coming!
Glad we could help! Good luck to you.
Really hard to beat the Cruzr XC! I hunted all of last season with one, and it's a super comfortable saddle. Good luck this year, guys!
Thanks man! Best of luck to you!!!!

do you still use your normal treestands, or do you think it would be an option to only use a saddle, even on private land?
We still use lock on stands too. Really just depends on the situation.
Attention new saddle hunters....look how far they are from the tree. Without any steps around the three they're stuck in one spot and easily spotted by deer. Use a ROS and strattle the tree. Use tree to hide from deer.
With the Seeker platform we can easily swing around the tree to hide and shoot 360*

Thanks man! We are stoked about this setup this season! Best of luck to you this year!!!!
What climbing sticks are you guys using?
As for now the hawk helium’s
What size saddle did you get?
We got large
Best saddle set up hands down!
No doubt
What’s the ideal length for the tree tether? I got all my kit now just trying to get it all set.

Would a 7ft length of tether cover me for most trees?
Just bought this kit now I feel confident in using it thanks 🫡
You’re going to love the comfort and mobility it gives you in the woods!
