- Full coverage of the Rogue Record Breakers challenges from the 2022 Rogue Invitational, held at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. This year, all three RRB events delivered on their promise, as many of the biggest names from the world of Strongman not only took their shots at new WRs, but shattered them in stunning fashion.
Highlights include the return of the Mountain, Hafthor Bjornsson, looking to beat his own record in the 56LB Weight Over Bar (while wearing Dr. Terry Todd's kilt); two different men making history in the Dinnie Stone Hold; and Kevin Faires taking on the "impossible" with a 325LB lift of Thor's Hammer.

32:08 Interview
Dear team Rogue, please we love to see Hafthor Julius Bjornsson doing the Rogue Invitational 2023. 💪🏻
1:26:13 - Kevin Faires pressed his fingers to the thigh while lifting Thor's Hammer wasn't that cheating???
@@weqsdaxcz121 I also believe that assisted in a tighter grip. Rules should be clearly written down in black and white.
What about the other events?
I especially like seeing Thor when he cries about rules

Love to see Thor competing again🔥
Thank you Rogue, best Strongman supporter 💪🏽
shoutout to rogue for posting well edited solid content so fast 🎉
Love what you said about work strength. It's really how I've maintained my strength into my mid-50s. But the most impressive person I ever saw was about five years ago when I was living in Asheville, NC. This guy was working at the car wash--really nice guy--but then I saw him at Gold's Gym, just doing his thing bench pressing five plates for reps. No one lifting with him and I've never witnessed more confidence. It was spectacular and very enviable. Hopefully, someone, somewhere scouted him.
"People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back!"
- -John Wick- Hafthor Bjornsson
Way to go Kevin!!
Watching these huge men struggle with the Dinny Stones, it's amazing to think that 140lb Chloe Brennan was able to lift them.
She only cleared the floor by half an inch and momentarily held it for half a second or so. These guys break the floor convincingly and hold it for several seconds. However, considering her BW it's still an incredible feat of strength. But it's not comparable because of the leverages, ROM and the time held is different.
@@Nirsterkur she is considerably shorter than all these guys so it doesn't matter how far off the ground they come if they are up they are up, thats ridiculously stupid thing to say honestly.
@@jamierutherford1283 There's a big difference with the ROM though. What is more difficult? A 9" Deadlift? 15" Hummer tyre DL, 18" Silver Dollar DL or a very high Rack pull where you have to move the bar only about ½ an inch?
The leverages make a big difference. If they hypothetically fix handles with longer chains, and make the ROM half an inch also to the guys, we could have seen the difference.
@@jamierutherford1283 Plus do you know she did it the way Donald did with the large one in the front and small one in the back? This is the farmers walk style: stones on the sides. Theres a difference there as well.
It's like discrediting a lift that Rob Kearny does, because he is smaller than hafthor bjornsen..... also many lifters have their own style of lifting SO as a second point it doesn't matter which particular style someone uses to lift a stone/or stones. I should mention I am scottish and live a few miles from the real dinnie stones, I also lift stones so.... whoever lifts the stone we call it 'putting wind under the stone' for you to discredit the lift is not a veiw that would be acceptable here.
Cool to see Thor again, albeit at a much leaner, lighter weight. Awesome that he's wearing the kilt of the late, great Terry Todd, pioneer of strongman. RIP Terry.
Who is terry?
Would be great to get Chloe Brennan and Matt Jones over next year for stone related stuff they are both great stone lifters.
Brian Shaw and Tom Stolman could give Thor a run for his money, would be great to see all 3 going head to head
Cool to see you guys
1:26:13 - Kevin Faires pressed his fingers to the thigh while lifting Thor's Hammer wasn't that cheating???
It's crossfit games, where judging goes brrrrrrrr!!!!
If Odd Haugen says it's a good lift then it's a good lift.
@@MedievalSolutions he might have not paid attention to that due to his age cause otherwise its withing the rules and anyone can do that but then it's gonna be grip+thigh Thor Hammer lift )))
Be nice if you had a timer on screen for the stones
Stormir is like "I'm gonna beat that by a foot dad"
Damn Kevin and Mitch killed it
Thank you Rogue
Still better than WSM
imagine how strong he'd be if he was full-thor
hooper is so nuts. dude is a freak
It would be awesome see Thor competing with the new generation!
Thor is now half-thor😊
Great result for Kevin after the stones.
They should do the dinny stones for reps
Great recommendation. For the time being, there are 4 variations. You can read more at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinnie_Stones
He hit the Bar!! Wow, lots of Power Wow..
1:05:27 Pritchett never left the top level of Strongman, dude
on the hammer Kevin did not lock out his knees so no lift
1:20:44 “Incredible. Wow” 🙄
I wonder what someone like Dan Grigsby or Jamal Browner could do with the Dinnie stones, they have 1000+ pound hook grips.
They don’t walk with it
@@dongatello6969 neither did these guys
@@m4yd0g Kevin Faires has walked 26 feet with the Dinnie Stones
@@m4yd0g big difference lifting on a standard deadlift bar in standard gym conditions and lifting Strongman implements
Martins Licis has been blessed by Odin, Odin's father and his father before him.
1:05:47 He is still in his prime, so, yeah.
Why didn't Brian attempt these Rogue Record Breakers, he is top in the world at weight for height as well as the very top for grip for the Thors Hammer event, doesn't even need to train just rock up
My impression is that he is building his own exclusive brand. Does not want to mingle in other organisations.
The the guy judging probably could grip the 275lb , huge forearms
I'm surprised it's Shaw and not Hafthor that holds the keg toss record. From 2018 -2020 Thor won all weight over bar events. Shaw couldn't touch him.
Because Thor didn’t attempt the keg toss record in his prime
@@trentportier7054 I guess it was all bag over bar in his prime like in the Arnolds eh.
Kevin wasn’t even close to locked out but was dope to watch.
Wow
Interesting that Thor’s baby is wearing Balenciaga… what kind of message is trying to be sent here?
That hammer pull looks so easy, hard not to imagine that I could pull it no probs. I bet it's harder than it looks.
It would be cool if these monsters would have a passing Gas contest, loudest, longest, and smelliest , They got 2 minutes 2 stuff thier face with beans, and then let er rip,
How old are you mate?
I always assumed the Dinne stones were named after a drunk Scotsman who tried to lift the stones and 'dinne manage to do it'.
dumb and dumber reference... Nice.
