Gotta feel for Bobby if it's anyone he didn't wanna face on stones it was Tom 😅 seriously if u made the stones heavier just for Tom he probably still win
Its sad to see Evan had various minor mistakes which prevented him from reaching a podium spot. He didn't quite lift the 425 lb stone, he took his hands off during the leg press, he didn't prepare properly for the 1000 lb deadlift, he should've tried the 410 lb log and not the 440 lb log. Its a shame because that would've been his biggest accomplishment of his short strongman career.
Bobby Thompson can lift weights on each end of a bar but beyond that he'll go out 'injured' nine times out of ten. The number of events he's limped away from while holding an arm is way, way more than any other lifter. I don't know why he bothers showing up.
People should know, even though Tom Stoltman is the greatest in the world at loading stones, that wasn't always the case. Back in the day it used to be Magnus Samuelsson, Jessen Paulin, Arild Haugen. They could all lift a 385 lb stone which was always the heaviest, the 385 lb stone was the hardest stone for years until the 396 lb and 420 lb stones appeared in the late 2000s.
They sure did! But none of them made it look easy. Tom just one motioned 425lb (after doing the same to 400,375 and 350). They were the best of the their time but there's no real comparison to be made in stone lifting ability.
@@AlasdairThompson Yes there is a comparison, back in the day a 385 lb stone was very impressive. There was only a handful of strongman in the world that could lift it.
Would like to see them do away with that sticky tack , and do away with straps. Your grip strength should matter. , go back to all-around raw strengths. Get rid of these assisting cheats they use.
Tell me you don't lift without saying you don't lift. Grip is the first thing to go and when you tax your cns for strongman stuff it takes weeks to get back to normal
“Great Britain taking on Wales here”….. you Americans…. You know that Wales is IN Great Britain right….? England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Ffs
Don't expect too much from them in that regard. Many of them still can't put their own country on the map, and don't know Canada is up north and is _another country_.
Northern Ireland isn’t part of Great Britain. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom. Great Britain is the island that includes England, Scotland, and Wales. Northern Ireland isn’t part of that island. Maybe sit out criticizing Americans for being ignorant of your country when it’s clear that even you are ignorant about your country.
Brian still punching with the best in the world. Amazing career
Fucking love the sportsmanship here. Makes me wanna cry in a, ya know, very manly kinda way.
Terry Hollands is an awesome strongman commentator! Such a wealth of knowledge in his amazing experience in strongman. Todd Harris is great as well.
Tom Stoltman picks up stones like a little kid picking up marbles. Absolutely incredible.
Greatest stone lifter on the planet. Can't see that changing any time soon.
Gotta feel for Bobby if it's anyone he didn't wanna face on stones it was Tom 😅 seriously if u made the stones heavier just for Tom he probably still win
marbles are so hard that need so much time to lift it from the floor? Especially last stone
Stop telling lies lad
incredible event to watch
Brian VS Mitch was just awesome 🔥 less than a second difference between them
Brian is one large damn human!
Love the sportsmanship !!!!
Whoa! TOM is QUICKLY! 🤯🌶️🏴
Трезвость!!¡ Сила!!😊

Im sure we will see more of him😊
@@dannywielink5200 He has a small window of opportunity since Brian Shaw is now retired and Hafthor isn't quite competing at the Shaw Classic
Man tom is good at this. What a stone legend
Big Tommy some boy 🏴 ❤️❤️
It seems to me like they should adjust height for shorter competitors. They have to work a lot harder.
I’d like to use the tacky when setting the dinner table laying out all the napkins forks and knives
Man that's a heavy set of stones
Brian Shaw gets to "set" his stones up? Diva.
Came too early for the guy with time stamps.
11:15 "oh no(vikov!)"
My favorite strongman is Gavin Bilton’s Gut.

Brian just couldn't not compete lol. Thought he retired after wsm or shaw classic.
Brian is still a badass
Come on Brian!!!😂❤😂❤😮❤
Gavin bilton n1 👌💪👍
Boudreal just let Stoltman win, waiting between stones, taking it slow and leaving tons of time to Stolt
Maxime was also coming off injury and wasn’t in his best shape
Nah Maxime fumbled the 3rd stone and also he is coming from a nasty injury
Yes
Brian’s stone was placed first, his hands were off the stone first… I must have missed the other reason why he got second. 😂 either way both did GREAT
Tom stoltman was 23 seconds... Brian was over 30
Nice of tom to leave the UK so luke could be the strongest man in uk
👍👍💪💪👏👏
You can make serious money betting on Bobby Thompson getting injured during an event.
“Great Britain taking on Wales"...

Tom has never beat Martin’s at multiple stone events bro. Who is the greatest?
Licic Yes
@@joebot9309 Tom would beat Licis now on stones issue with Licis he has pretty much gone through many issues
Tempo de pegar uma lesão,
I can do that
U wot m8?
@CankleCankle Wot cher! In the old kent road, m8.

It's about technique if u can get the technique right then you on right track
Это жесть
You play with ballz
應該叫習近平參加這個

It's not really cheating using tacky but straps are safety thing but they are doing away with figure of 8s
It’s been part of the sport for over 50 years. Maybe u need to change
@joebot9309 maybe but this isn't powerlifting when everything relies on 3 movements
Tell me you don't lift without saying you don't lift. Grip is the first thing to go and when you tax your cns for strongman stuff it takes weeks to get back to normal
@7:13 what was that sticky substance he was using on the left??? that to me is cheating.
It's called tacky for atlas stones for speed u have to use tacky
Это мазь таки её все используют,никакого обмана.

When I saw "Strongest Man" in the title, I was expecting to see bodybuilders with their six-pack abs . . . not BELLYBUILDERS with their one-kegs.
@@luissantana2201 And definitely not the fastest or smartest, either. But I am pretty sure some of them are good at ping pong.
Are you kid or just another random ignorant adult?
95!% of bodybuilders wouldn't stand a chance at competitive strongman competition
Sounds like were planning to rub one out to some sexy bodybuilders 😂
@@ProjectBonus And 100.01% of all bodybuilders can/would never compete against any strongman at the buffet table or beer pong.
