Please stop inviting Oberst in 2022, there are so may more deserving competitors

He's pretty (&) strong, he is a threat in any group if he is healthy. People are always gonna hate though...

@@fewny2691 He is literally never a threat and that's the problem. If Oberst is in your group, you know you won't finish last

Wow what are you talking about every year he makes it to the stone off!! That’s more then a shit ton of people! By all means he would have been a finalist in 2019 if he didn’t get injured you guys are ridiculous lol

Eh, 50/50. He's still super strong and always consistent, and obviously has the personality the sport wants for a TV audience. Would love to see him make it in the top 5-10 one year before he is eligible for Masters.

@@scottmann6223 the issue is he doesn’t earn a qualified spot like other athletes which isn’t fair to them so OB who hasn’t won a show since 2015 can keep getting invited but other guys who actually win or even podium at giants live the Arnold series or even their own countries strongest don’t get invites?

I really believe when an athlete gets injured on the very first event in the heats, they should sub in a reserve and stick that person at the end of the queue. Must really suck to just miss out on making it to WSM and then watch someone drop out after one event. Sure maybe on such short notice the reserve athlete wouldn't perform exceptionally well, but just dropping an athlete at the very beginning sucks.

I’m confused about the order? Obie came second on the first event but had to go first on the second event? Surely him and Janashia should’ve been the second pair?

saying "Tachi Palace World's Strongest Man" sounds so lame, it buries the lead, and makes it sound like a small hotel event... if anything it should be "World's Strongest Man, sponsored by blah blah blah"
