Deep, contemporary and moving short film! Connor's story is one many a LGBT person can relate to. Young people discovering their sexual identities should not feel ashamed to display and express their true selves. Homophobia certainly does not change or "help" people either! This is a must-see and a beautiful story of one Trans person's journey. Everyone is unique and has the freedom to explore and come into their true natures. Acceptance is what all must show to one another. To all who have been and are in Connor's position- you were created for a reason. Embrace yourself and let that beauty show.
I'm not even 3 minutes into this and I'm already going to cry. This is so sad Edit: I am crying and omg she's so pretty. Both her and Venus (I think that's her name) are beautiful and bless their souls
This is such a good film also my childhood in I played with dolls wore dresses and painted my nails also makeup I am a boy but I mosty had a sister and mom to play with I still think makeup is cool and I occasionally try it on but I still identity as a male
Why can't everybody just support the child if you have a kid it doesn't matter what they identify as you still need to love them no matter what do you really want them to hate you just because you don't agree with what they do, you should love your kid no matter what it doesn't matter if they're a boy girl non-binary. Kids should be able to explore their identity so while they're growing up they don't have to struggle when they're older I might not be trans or non binary, but I am lesbian and I support that I hate when I hear about people on the internet and struggle because their parents don't agree with them I was lucky enough to grow up in a house with two mom's so they accepted me for liking girls although other people aren't as lucky. If you some somehow finished reading all of this I want you to know that you're valid no matter who or what you identify as stay safe ❤️
Not sure about the message here: Being a woman = automatically adopting all of society's gender expectations, ie. heavy, drag-queen like makeup, fishnets and ballgowns. To me, this read more as being about two boys who want to be drag queens, not two women trapped in men's bodies.
when i saw the nursery, i was like "oh god, gender" not that i hate the facts of gender, i feel uncomfortable with the fact that the parents being like "this is you, cant choose anything else"
So powerful, with so few words. Amazing
Thank you so much Mel! x
