I like the inside to be as nice as the outside too but perfection is rarely attainable and sucks the fun out of sewing. Be kinder to yourself. You are an amazing seamstress.

🎉 brilliant fit, and fantastic sewing skills! Congratulations, what a success! I cannot believe you did all that beautiful topstitching using a regular foot on your machine. I swap about with 1/4” foot and regular foot, which is tiresome but the only way I can get good quality finish. Looking forward to seeing it with whichever shirt you decide to go with❤

Karon, I am so impressed with your work. I am working on a pair of jeans right now and have done the same details: pocket that goes to the center. Biais to hide the side of the zip and fabric side. Here (In Italy) I go to a "merceria" and the lady has the right machine to punch the button and rivets. I think that in US you could go see a cobbler for your rivets. I make my legs strait because I think it is more classic (classy) than the Chicken drumstick of a tight ankle (my opinion). You are good!

You need an awl to poke a hole through the fabric to apply the rivets. Great job. They look great on you.
