I’m loving the way you finished your EXB bro. Excellent idea tearing down and going through the entire rc. Can’t tell you how many times i have opened up new diffs to find them completely empty. When you plan to run hard it’s always a great idea to make sure all of the rc is ready. Nice choice on electronics as well.
Very cool I run the same system but on8s and an 18 tooth it’s crazy powerful and smooth take off like you said I did lock my rear diff tho waiting on the open diff still 👍👍🔥🔥💯💯appreciate the video very cool 🙏🙏
I have the same exact car with 2 differences... 1. dx5pro instead of the rugged 2. 18 tooth pinion instead of 20 I should have listened to all the reviews and comments online about the diffs and taken the time to make sure they were shimmed and had the right fluids. This will be my 3rd time taking a diff apart and rebuilding it. This time it's for the center diff.

Your welcome! It's definitely different! I noticed when spinning the wheel by hand, the other side goes backwards a rotation and then spins the same. That's lsd! The rtr diffs spin opposite no matter what. Good stuff bro!!
Was that 6s or 8s? You said 8s but says above 6s?? Im amazed yours didnt flip more like Kevin Tabults his was flipping all over the place with a 2300kv and 1717 has way more torque thought it would flip even more. Maybe he locked the centre diff.
@@Justinazrc kinda no point having a 1717 coz you'll need a 22 pinion to get same speed as a 2200, then your losing the extra torque pushing an higher gear. I used to think 1717s were the go but was taught otherwise. 1717 was made for speed (x0-1) by pushing a huge gear. It's extra torque allows a way bigger gear, but if your just bashing, you don't want a big gear n if U keep it low for torque you lose so much speed, then if you gear up to compensate your defeating the purpose. Do you get what I mean I'm not really explaining what I mean well lol.

So a Castle 1717 fits straight in ??? I have the motor and want to buy a roller that fits it this might be the one. DOnt think it will fit x01 speedy though but ive got a MM2
@@Justinazrc ok most race with 7.5 at front. I know your bashing so you want more push from the outside wheel when turning but you must be limiting the 'turning circle by not "freeing up the inside wheel".. However your bashing so I guess it doesn't matter..
So do you have LSD plates in all 3 diffs? Cool setup! I just watched Phillip Jolley do 61 on his exb with that can on a 21t. I don’t know electronics that well yet. I like my max8 combo. More than enough for an amateur like me 😉. 👍

I prefer lsd. I love the action! I did run open on first pack. I was pretty hard on it and didn't have any problems.

He locked it. It's on 6s. It will flip all day. I can pull a double standing backflip. On 8s it's uncontrollable lol.
