No, just no. Guys were already falling apart on 16 game seasons and the 17 game season only served to compound the issues further. Adding an 18th game would be detrimental to the player's health and the quality of product that ends up on the field. It would be a move driven solely by unadulterated greed

Get rid of 2/3 preseason games (coaches already know for the most part who will make the 53 man roster, it’s very rare undrafted players who play well in preseason make the roster), add one more game and one more bye-week. Season is 20 weeks. Each team plays 18; has 2 byes.
Or 2 preseason games, 18 games, 2 byes each and move the playoffs and Super Bowl back one week

Anyone that’s thinks making the season longer is better for the game needs their head checked. How many of the games star players have to get injured before the you realize the product will suffer. Joe Burrow, Kirk Cousins, Dax, Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, Barkley, the numerous lineman and defensive players. And this is all within a year. Rodger Godell is a shill for money and no regard for the safety of anything other then his bank accounts.

The starters only play a 1/2 game in pre season anyway. And the roster, PS, and cap would have to be expanded. So win win win for owners, players and fans.
