i've never wanted to throw a football inside my house more than right now
Just go outside lol.
😂😂
Just build a soft spot with pillows and let it fly, lol
Bro right !!! And it’s 2 am rn 😂
we’re all on social distancing and i keep bouncing basketballs around my house... lmao everyone hates it but its so boring
Gripped it exactly like Rivers and my first throw was intercepted
I laughed hahha
my last pass is always intercepted when i do his grip
I didn’t even get to throw, the snap from the shotgun got intercepted
Dallas Knows Jak your first pass can be your last
Michael Del Castillo Hahaha! I just watched a re play of their game on Sunday evening and he himself was intercepted two times... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Most importantly, how does Nate Peterman grip the ball?
Nate the goat
The GOAT doesn't grip the ball.
using the force
Thumb on the laces😂😂
Rogue_JR_ no pinky on the tip stupid
For some reason Lamar jackson grips it between his inner elbow and shoulder. Interesting
NewEnglandMixes that’s why he’s a running back
Dandre Johnson
That’s worse for teams, they’re losing to a team with no Quarterback, huge disadvantage 😂.
Cormel fr 😂
Seemed to work against y’all 2 weeks ago tho 🙂
Is that why we beat u guys? 😂
The most I’ve ever heard Matt Ryan talk.
Matty talks alot on the field lol. He's just all business off of it.
@@dembirdscanfly he doesn't watch games..he wouldn't know

"My uncle told me how to hold the ball" now i have heard it all
Tuomas Kallio are you hinting at something dirty? Or nasty
Everybody dressed like they just got up or worked out and Tom Brady over here looking fresh in a suit 😂 💀
You unlock that skin after you win 6 SBs
He is a business man now.....
Yo Bro underrated comment
Max level 😂
He only throws checkdowns there’s no need for working out
2:35 that throwing motion was cool

Oh my god
I keep watching it
Man Russell seems like a great dude to be around.
they are all the best, its just us fans judge them based on how they play. would love to have a shot with anyone them really and im mostly a steeler fan
MoshiPlays Ben’s a rapist? I’m not trying to sound rude, but do you have any evidence?
He is. Russ is a great Person And the Best QB in the Game. Gohawks
Yeah, he just seems like a chill dude
🏋🏻♀️🧊🥂👸🏼🤴🏽
the question is why is Baker in this video and not Drew
Yes!!!
Drew is busy trying to win another SB.
@King Tubbzzz Tom Brady doesn't have very many personal accolades. You can use team stats all you want but skill wise and talent wise, Brady isnt the best. But try telling a Pat's fan that their God is really human.
This is a valid question. I'd rather see YOU than Baker
Probably because he is an NFL quarterback.
4:47 All of a sudden, I was being yelled at.
Poor dan orlovsky
😂

I would just pay attention to Brady and Wilson
If your hands are 10” yeah, if not I’d watch Murray.
@@cormel6895 I would pay attention to Brady, Garoppolo, Big Ben, and Wilson.

What About Rodgers Brees and Mahomes
Rocky Jeter Webb
That wouldn’t make sense, if you do that while having average sized hands you’ll fumble. Just like you wouldn’t take lessons from Kawhi or Jordan on how to hold a basketball.
“If I can find my second finger on the lace
Everything falls into place”
Matt Ryan got bars, Maybe that’s why he’s called Matty Ice
Tom Brady has the best arm in bad weather, he slings it in horrible conditions like nothing!
Probably deflated😂

You can go all the way back to the Tuck Rule game in regard to Brady’s grip
Since Julian Edelman is the best QB in the history of the NFL, getting some nuggets of wisdom from him next time would be cool.
@Oliver McCall 👍 Yup. His story is pretty well known by now.
You can’t forget about the goat Sanu though.

@eoe123321 well bill belichick got rid of jimmy garopollo last year and there 9-1
I wanna see how Warren Moon does it. Dude has the tightest spirals ever.
True. His spirals were the tightest.
idk, man.. I loved Moon`s throws but i think R Wilson throws a better spiral than he did.. just my humble opinion
Alex Voicu pretty bad opinion in my humble opinion
Brett Favre too
Matty ice just passed Warren in passing yards for 10th all time. That’s pretty special
Coach Bill Bilichick, I like mine with the latest James Bond Go Pro 007 camera hidden in the laces. LOL 😂
Definitely wanna watch Aaron Rodger's and Dan Marino best spirals I've ever seen.
The crazy thing is that by this point Tom has seen everything in football, he ready for anything
Only one person in the NFL who has seen more and came up clutch in more situations
even others teams signal calling on illegal recordings
rickhxc wow so funny!
I changed from gripping it how Patrick Mahomes grips it to how Josh Allen and Russell Wilson grip it and I had more control over my throw than I ever have in my whole life. For the first time the ball went where I wanted it to go everytime without having to try.
God I love Matt Ryan. Please play another 10 years
GREEN EIGHTYYY!!!! GREEN EIGHTY SET HUUUUUUT!!!!
Definitely - the Saints will be in the market for a franchise QB next season.
Josh Allen: "My dad wanted me to be the quarterback . . . "
". . . But I ended up being a wildcat running back my entire NFL career"
dudes racking in the fantasy points for me tho
I mean he really doesn't run the ball like that anymore. Plays in the pocket way more this year
This aged well
Well then
2:21 Matt Ryans Voice Crack
Voices tend to do that from a human being when they speak.
To summarize the video: It all doesnt matter its all personal feeling
Those guys have such big hands that their grips are very unorthodox. My grip is closest to Matt Ryan's because that's pretty much the classic grip that he uses.
I think Wilson has the biggest hands out of them all

"Flick the booger off your finger" - Russell Wilson
As soon as Russell Wilson said "its like flicking a booger" I instantly got it and knew what he meant. I've flicked many boogers at teachers when I was in school. Thanks to Wilson I now sling my footballs with the same pinpoint accuracy as when I flick my boogers. Goes exactly where I want it to go. lmao
Exactly what i was thinking
@@Yep529 hahahaha. We're sick huh?
@@MattyDemello noooo 😂 i think its completely normal!
Back when I was in 4th grade, my teacher would eat in the class before we went off to lunch. One time he left the room for a few seconds and as soon as he did that I put a booger on top of his food in his food box before sneezing on his noodles 😂
@@twstdreality lmao
Russell is so charismatic and energetic, it's easy to see, even in this brief interview about something as mundane as how he holds a ball. He's my favorite current NFL player!
Now it’s cheeks lol
Funny enough Brady's grip is just like his idols Joe Montana, although Brady's apprentice, Jimmy Garoppolo grips the ball exactly like Aaron Rodgers.
Garoppolo sucks, the 49ers just have an excellent offense
@@MrSomebodyyyy lol with 1st and 2nd year receivers hahahaha. yeah I don't think so Garoppolo is 17-3 for a reason.
Garoppolo is very good. As far as "rookies"(first few years of playing) go, such as Mahomes, Prescott, Mayfield, etc, he is top three.
sweego thats why he missed a wide open sanders to win the Super Bowl 🤷♂️
Brady "I like mine a little deflated, it's easier to throw and catch"
El Mero Mero no
Yes
El Mero Mero it’ll feel like a nerf then always spirals
😂😂😂
El Mero Mero lol I was waiting for someone to mention that in the comments
That's amazing what Brady said... "Snow is a great advantage. The defenders are very slippery and when they get slowed down that's great for me"
Most people think poor weather conditions like Rain and Snow are horrible for a QB but he's right, Throwing a football accurately in the Snow and Rain is probably alot easier than trying to cover All-Pro receivers Running 4.4s all around the field
if you have big hand yes
However Baker is doing it, just do the opposite, and you'll be just fine......
Idk I think I’d have fun throwing 25 TDs my rookie year
He's actually very accurate
Nick Bemo LoL why are you bringing up last year talk about this year
John Doe idk man maybe because a couple bad games against good teams doesn’t define your career
Lmboo
I saw Matt Ryan's NFL debut in Atlanta. Everybody talks about some long TD pass to a wide open receiver that my dead grandmother could have completed His best play was on a roll out when he came face to face with a linebacker, juked him to make him think he was going to try to run, thereby buying some time to complete a pass about 10 or 15 yards downfield. I then definitely knew he was the real deal.
Brady 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Baseball is such a good sport to transition into QB from. These baseball/football QB hybrids are so good at throwing on the run and at different arm angles

This is a cool video. Always interesting to see how the best of the best do it. Baseball pitchers talking about finger placement on specific pitches has such subtlety involved as well
All these increbile QB's talking about how they hold the football when they're on the field... Then Dan Orlovsky comes out of nowhere to say the closing bit.. hilarious

I learned how to grip and throw a football from a Drew Brees video.
Facts
Brady has the best grip of all time and has the rings to prove it
Q the ball comes out in tight spirals every time.
Which video? The Sport science Video?

Matt Ryan: Grip it like you’re trying to choke the laces
This used to fascinate me when I was younger. Grip evolved as I got bigger and stronger. The ball definitely plays a part and how it feels in the hand. Troy Aikman had a pretty interesting grip back in the day.
Maybe that's why Aikman threw so many ducks. Should've had his fingers on the laces.
@@mvpfocus idk mvpfocus he threw a pretty ball back in his prime.
@@benmarino1913 Aikman had a few great years. But, for the most part, Aikman was just a game manager, and threw a particularly wobbly ball. But, hey. Peyton Manning also threw plenty of ducks, and he holds most of the passing records. So, it's really just a style thing. Funny thing is both Aikman and Manning had terrible rookie seasons. But, look how they both ended up.
Great video! I just realized that I've been gripping the football all wrong my entire life when I play QB with friends.
How do you grip it? Curious if it’s the same as me
Man, me and my coach had this talk today (only on practice squad). I'm great at touch, but at deep ball I might as well thrown the INT. Idk how dudes are good at it. Love the videos
This was dope.
I think we can all agree know one is gonna try and throw like baker mayfield
Sweet. I just learned Russell Wilson and I use the same grip style.
I played high school football gripping the football exactly like Tom Brady. My coach taught us well
"Like flickin' a booger"....words of wisdom!
I gripped like Matt Ryan, the first thing I did was choke a 24 point lead
And the first thing that came in my mind is why do people still joke about 28-3

Who’s here after Brady signed with the Bucs?
Me
My all time goats are Purdy, Brady, Rodgers, Montana!
i never really thought about how i held or threw the ball. I would play football as a kid my position was always qb I took to throwing quickly. Now that i think about it I spin the football off with my middle and index. As a kid i would watch Joe Montana work his magic. Throwing was 2nd nature for me as for precision that needs some attention
I grip it exactly like josh Allen. I keep liking this kid more and more every week
I was expecting a lesson from Brees, Rodgers, Mahones or even Watson and not Mayfield and Allen. C'mon man!!
want a lesson from allen now
They all playoff qbs now
Disappointed that we don't have Rodgers showing us his grip
he throws only hail mary
I used to have a Baker Mayfield kind of grip then one day in practice in high school I changed to Matt Ryan grip after i realized my hands grew

Sam Browning from the old commercial? 😂😂😂 that’s how I learned too
Josh Allen should be describing how he ties his cleats.
2nd with pinkie and 5th with ring finger. That's what Peyton taught me during my teenage years and it works great (after practicing it of course).
2:30 i dont know why but Matt Ryan imitating the ball leaving your hands is hypnotizing

“A little ball deflation and your good”

Connor Wacker actually deflation doesn’t make the ball easier to throw it makes it easier to catch

Have you seen Dashawn’s release!?
Russell throws to unknown players Watson has Hopkins and fuller yet still has a lower pass % plus Wilson deep ball is the best in the game no Debate at all

Haha that’s awesome it actually worked for me in 1 min and I’m throwing straight 😎 Thank you
Props to Brady. It's hard throwing a football with 7 rings on.
Purely about skill, Mahomes and Rodgers are the ones I'd be most interested about...
That's because they have big hands. Like in the video, it states Mahommes like to palm the ball. You need to have REALLY big hands to palm an NFL size football.
@@FMD023 That wasnt "palming" like you do a basketball... Every qb talked about leaving space between the football and their palm, mahomes doesn't. So basically mahomes throws wrong, but it works for him. Anyone "can" palm a football, but hardly anyone can throw like that.
@@FMD023
Mahomes came out and compared his hand size to Joe Burrow's. Which is smaller the most other qb's. Part of the reason he's more comfortable palming it
Easy to forget how big a football is. Never fails to impress me how these guys throw missiles
