I know this is a year old but amenoma is crazy 4star on DPS Kazuha. He gets super good value on the passive since his skill is a 5 second cooldown. You will always get your burst in cooldown while running an Atk% weapon.
Shame not to see Magic Guide as I think it falls below Sac Frag but above Mappa Mare as a cope EM stat stick for someone like Nahida.

It actually performs a few % better than sac frags, but depends on team. Need like keqing fishl that applies a lot of aoe electro

Mystery bow is the Compound Bow... it's a Physical DMG bow. It's the original pewpew Fischl bow. It's bad.
Hakushin Ring is a bit underrated but it's only really good at R5 and most people probably don't have a billets because hoyo hates us and makes the billets RNG. R5 Hakushin Sucrose in aggravate is pretty good because she also gives DMG%. Hakushin R5 is equal to a 500 EM Kazuha. But she also shares EM on top of that. If you're Sucrose is C6, she can give an additional 20%. Granted you have to infuse her burst and it can be inconsistent but in an aggravate team Electro is the only infusable element, barring environment and enemies elements.
There's also Yae in most of her teams, like Quickbloom. Causing aggravate gives your other Electro and Dendro units 20% DMG and if you trigger Electro-Charged with Yae she will also buff your Xingqiu/Yelan. Obviously lower personal damage but 20% DMG on the rest of your team is worth. It's like giving Noblesse on Xingqiu or Rosaria. A lot of gcsim teams with Yae use Hakushin R5.
But yeah, you need the billets to make it really good. It's kinda a shame we don't have a more consistent way of getting billets.
Great breakdown. I actually have used R5 on my sucrose but I just prefer sac frags. Feels better and stronger but I do acknowledge the math for hakushen is good
Im going to TL;DR this for everyone. Keep an R5 of every 3 star and 4 star.
I’m criminally unlucky with standard 5 star weapons. If I lose 50/50 on weapon banner it’s usually something good like Amos or Jade Winged. But for some reason the standard banner has given me not 1, not 2, but 3 Skyward Pride Claymores. I don’t have any of the swords or Catalysts.
Hakushin Ring is a very good weapon. Especially in aggravate teams using Sucrose but can also be used in electro-charged teams. Sac Frags requires too much field time so Hakushin Ring is superior in teams where she is off-field. Prototype Amber is also extremely useful. I built it and and has put in serious work like how TTDS does. It gives you teamwide healing and gives the character holding it energy. This allows you to not run a healer on the team or lower level defensive characters. For example Prototype Amber allows you to use Nahida with Keqing/Alhaitham instead of needing to use Yao Yao. I actually use Prototype Amber more than TTDS now because of how strong Nahida is that she can use a terrible weapon on her and she will still badly outperform other dendro characters.
Also disagree with Sacrificial Sword. If you have Xingqiu then you should build it. It solve almost all of his energy problems by itself. Maybe in a double hydro comp the Favonius Sword is sometimes better. Sac Sword however allows you to use Xingqiu by himself. Sac Bow is also very good. I use it on Diona to fuel my Mistsplitter Ayaka. You just use her skill twice to generate 8 cryo particles that Ayaka can catch all at once. That is far superior to fav which requires crit stats on top. Sure it adds time to the rotation but for an Ayaka freeze team that is fine. What is the most important is being able to burst every cd. Sac Bow is also very good on Collei because the dendro application on her skill is pretty good. It is basically her BiS on bountiful core teams.
One of my regrets in this game was building Prototype Crescent. It is not that good because there are a huge number of enemies that do not have weak points. In addition it can be easy to miss enemies and you often want to be shooting at enemies feet with Ganyu. It is way too much hassle to make it work. Hamayumi is probably better if not the same tier. A passive you can easily control.
That weapon that looks like Windblume Ode is Compound Bow. It is pretty bad.
I mostly agree. One thing I’ll say is that prototype crescent is good early game when one badly needs ER and characters aren’t properly built yet.
I also am glad I built up Prototype Amber. It's my Kokomi'a bis 4 star, but like you said, it's got the potential to add healing to any team and I use it for that a lot.
I'm the sort who prefers everyone to own their own weapon, so building sac sword for Quinqui was a given for me. He uses it well and I don't usually take it away from him either. Likewise, my sac bow does great on my Collei, given it's high base attack and the ability to use her skill so much more
Honestly Hakushin Ring is second bis for teaser driver Kokomi
It gives enough ER to have her burst on cooldown and passive works really nice since she's the one imitating elecro related reactions

Also sac sword for double hydro teams with Xingqiu is actually better than fav cause you'll get more hydro particles for another hydro unit. especially if it's Yelan

I would argue that the hakushin ring deserves to be at the top of B tier or at the bottom of A tier since it’s a really decent choice for dendro/electro team since dendro dmg can’t really be buff under normal circumstances and if used on c6 succrose, u can actually free kazuha for other teams and the same thing goes on with baizhu and zhongli (Ik zhongli can reduce dendro res but dendro dmg buff is more sufficent if the mobs hav like almost 0 dendro res)

If you are playing Bennett the battle pass weapon even at R1 is better than WGS by far. And if you have i R5 then it's not even a competition :D

Going through the weapons systematically would have been a much simpler and easier way to keep track of them.
Such an order as:
- 5 star weapons (the grand total of 10 weapons, easy to keep track of, almost always worth building, if nothing else, than as a statstick)
- Event Weapons (Almost always worth building, because they generally have some great features. Exception is the Cinnabar Spindle, if you don't have Albedo; but the list is still not that long, your list here only had 9 in it.)
- Fishing weapons
- Craftable weapons
- Blackcliff/Royal weapons (shop)
- Gatcha only weapons (that are not weapon banner only, so f2p people get them from character/standard banner as well, maybe also order them by specific sets, like Favonius/Sacrificial/Whatever the hell the Flute+Stringless etc set is called)
- 3 star weapons.
- Battle Pass weapons (as these are p2w options, I left them to the end.
Overall a really good tier list! I agree with almost all your points and I just a have a few nitpicks. [OK it's a fair amount of text, but all are minor points]
Widsith - Honestly this should be S tier. It's unlikely anybody doesn't have any of Yanfei, Heizou, Nahida, Yae Miko, Wanderer, Klee and I'm sure I'm missing someone else.
Deathmatch - A little overrated imo, there are so many good spears in the game I got this one and ended up not building it. To be fair I have PJWS, Calamity, Dragon's Bane, Kitain and Fav lance built. Just know that at some point you are likely to not need it any more.
Harbinger of Dawn - This one is definitely overlooked by many, especially on non ATK-scalers. I had to use this on Xingqiu for ages before getting my first Sac sword too.
Black Tassel - Also Yaoyao can use it to good effect, Fav is still slightly better for the team but not everyone has extra fav lances.
Slingshot - Note that if used on Yoimiya she really needs to be paired with Bennett to cover for the lower base attack.
Iron Sting - I think this thing is a little overhyped, Fav is better on most users (although highly contested), and we got the umbrella in the event that is basically a free Iron Sting. I haven't build one myself despite having built every character who wants it lol. That said I do have Freedom Sworn, Xiphos' and the umbrella.
Kitain Cross Spear can also be amazing on Xiangling, if your Catch is elsewhere but then again, she can use any spear to good effect haha.
Prototype Amber is actually really interesting and is not only for HP scalers, it can be just the right amount of healing your team needs to make it through abyss, some people use it on Mona or Nahida for example instead of bringing a healer.
Rainslasher - Painslasher more like. I'm biased against this because I have 8 copies of it and no one to put it on. Definitely not an A-tier weapon imo, since it is outclassed by so many claymores.
Serpent spine is definitely S tier imo. It's the best in slot 4-star on almost every claymore character and if Deathmatch makes it up there SS should easily as well, Everyone is guaranteed a Noelle, and most will have Beidou. The only Claymore damage dealer who doesn't vibe with it is Dehya lol.
The last bow there is the compound bow, craftable one, pretty bad so no wonder you don't recognize it lol.
On the baseline everyone have a Lisa and Lisa aggravate is a good team so it is perfect for her.
I foddered all my Otherworldly Story catalysts before I knew they're exclusively from chests. It's not even on my archive, sinceI it was way back before the archive feature was released. 😭
Been playing this game for a while and the only 4 star weapon that im missing is the Fav Codex. Fingers crossed one drop soon.

I accidentally destroyed mine early on but when Chasm came out I got a bunch of those 3 star weapons to R5 like Twin Nephrite and White Tassel. I regret not locking some of these earlier. I could have used Recurve Bow on Yelan for example.
I think PJWS should be in A. Its usefulness was so much outclassed by newer options. The biggest issue of PJWS is it needs stacks and most team nowadays have quick swap play style. I think only Xiao and Cyno can fully utilized.
I think I stand by S on this one. Better than the catch on raide, better than DM on Hu Tao, xiao and Cyno you mentioned. Almost always the best non-limited weapon for any given DPS poleaem user even if they don’t fully utilize it and that use it as a stat stick
@@JelloImpact In HuTao case, DB is better in vap which most HuTao play. The thing is PJWS got its max dmg after 3rd or 4th CA which is almost half of HuTao's field time.
As for Raiden, her initial slash, big nuke of her dmg usually got no stack and again when PJWS got its full power, most buffs are about to run off. Also Raiden needs ER. I prefer Skyward over PJWS. The Catch is on Xiangling.

I don’t think you have skyrider sword on here. Good 3 star ER stat stick, probably my Layla’s forever weapon.
I use skyward Spine a ton on shenhe because it has good attack and ER
Funny thing is that I have a PJWS leveled to 90, and it's sitting on the bench for me. All my spear users have something better to use. Hu Tao has Homa. Xiangling has Catch. Rosaria has a r4 Wavebreaker Fin. That's it for the DPS spear units; all other spear units I have would run support or EM focused spears.
But I've got a good spear waiting for the next polearm dps I want to pull.
Yeah totally . If you have some five star weapons especially, some of the “must builds” aren’t really that anymore. Or like you said you don’t have the characters
You can have Raiden use it but Wavebreaker would probably be better. However it does have crit rate stats so it can outperform those if you crit stats are lacking. Since Raiden can already have high elemental DMG bonuses what she badly wants are crit stats.
I dont understand how the blackmount weapon arent stronger, they have basicaly no passive effect and are just stat stick but its CRIT DMG and its the only reliable source F2P of it and because its a multiplicative source in theory as a F2P weapon it should have the upper hand in most cases.
Also there is a lots of weapon that has passive effect pretty much useless anyway like adding 5 or even if it was 20k damage every 10 sec is laughable anyway.
Their base ATK is above average also in terms of pure stat stick the only weapon that can outclass them are literaly the 5* and not even all of them, only the obvious main weapon like mystspliiter and stuff like that but 5* top weapon are broken anyway like 700 ATK with 80% crit dmg lol.
And to put the final nail, because those weapon has "no passive" you dont need to R5 them, you only need R1 and boom done, where others good weapons realy need refine upgrades to be realy playable sometime.
Some could argue that a weapon with good stats like a big boost of ATK can be comparable, i dont have the math and it may be ok but in theory crit dmg should have the upper hand
personally i love using fav on nahida so my yelan can have more damaging stats than er
