c1 is better than sign for Arle. If you have a BP weapon or almost any 5*, than c1 is stronger in terms of damage. I checked its several times with differents setups Also, why is lost prayer is a C and kagura is A? Something else to consider when going for weapons is how these crit stat sticks makes your artifacts easier. Since you’re getting so much crit from your weapon that brings up the value of stray ATK% (especially if the weapon has high base attack, which will give you more value from these rolls) ER%, EM, HP% (depending on the character). These stat rolls can become just as good as crit ones when you have such a heavy amount on your weapon.
It's a bit of a misconception to think that ATK% rolls have more value if you have more base attack (unless you're dual scaling, like Aggravate/Spread dps). Crit weapons also don't really make ATK% rolls better as crit scales better the more you have of it (until like 300CV i think?). So while these weapons are generally great boosts to your characters and make their stat sheets look more impressive, they don't actually make building your characters any "easier".
@@DimleyObjectively speaking, a higher base attack will improve your yield from ATK% rolls. To use Clorinde as an example, if you’re using Finale with its 565 base attack, a 5% attack roll will give you 28.25 attack, with Absolution’s 674 base attack you’re getting 33.7 attack. It’s not much, but it does lower the threshold where attack starts being as good as crit. (Edit, while the math is technically right, it doesn’t actually have a bearing on value vs Crit rolls since it’s all relative and crit is calculated multiplicatively, thank you to the other commenter that corrected me) You are correct about the 300cv stat (75/150 crit ratio) where crit stats falling off, so we can calculate with that. Every character has 60cv to start with (5% rate and 50% dmg), and a circlet will give you 62 CV with its main stat. That’s 122cv, which means you need an average of 35cv on each of your artifacts before you should even think about valuing ATK%, 35cv can be really tough, especially on goblets and circlets. An 66cv weapon (for average sake, the 88cv weapons make this more crazy) lowers your average CV need on your artifacts to 22.4. That’s huge, absolutely massive and shouldn’t be understated.
Yes and no, almost all 5* DPS have crit lv up stat and there is the Hunter set. Also some new 5* get Bonus Passives with Crit (like Clorinde) All that made particularly Crit rate Weapon‘s really hard to Build. Characters like Rizzly, Ayaka or Clorinde are hard to build with a crit rate weapon and overcap 100% with some single crit rate rolls
Honestly, a weapon providing cv at all is super nice since crit has one of the lowest roll chances for artifacts. It's much easier to then throw on a crit circlet, get high atk/HP, and have a playable character to get you started.
the only banner I've ever whaled on and I got a double pull of Homa on my 3rd try. Ended up with 2 Elegy's and 2 Homas for my whaling and it has 100% carried my account since then. Fortunate to learn my lesson that weapon banner is a scam from that particular banner.
@@jelouswitch1238 Wait this is wild because I had literally the same experience. I was going to try my luck getting Aqua and decided to pull on the weapon banner only until I got a 5*. I got an early 5* (30/40 pity) and it turned out to be both Homa and Lost Prayers in a single 10-pull so I thought "well shit, might as well not let the EP points go to waste." I finally got Aqua after another 60+ pulls.
I think "lost prayer" is not that niche, I mean, you can use it with Wriothesley, scaramouche, Neuvilette, etc. While the speed bonus is meme, the damage bonus, crit, and high base attack make it a good option for dps in the field.
Honestly I slot it alongside Jade Cutter and Jade Spear as a really solid generalist weapon that is usually in the top 3 for pretty much any character that can equip it. On-field catalyst users are really good with it.
Honestly I think the truth with 5 star weapons now is Hoyo really doesn't make true "universal" weapons anymore. The closest we've had to one lately was Lyney's Bow, The First Great Magic, and that released all the way back in 4.0 and it's only for Charge Attack characters. Like I think the truth is Hoyo knows people pull way more for constellations than weapons so they hyperfocused on making signifanct buffs to the early cons of characters.
Only Neuvillette and maybe Arlecchino are DPS characters I would consider to be S tier, but truth is it's a very contested position so if you're not outputting crazy damage numbers like those two, then you're not cracking S tier.
You run into this issue a couple times in the video, but it seems like we need a better way to destinguish between "an amazing upgrade but extremely restrictive" and "a decent upgrade but extremely versatile." You address this in the way you lay out your tiers, but I'd be curious to see if/how rankings would change between two parallel tier lists: one for "how good is it on its Intended User" and one for "how good is it on literally everybody EXCEPT its Intended User." . . . . unless the lists end up being super similar, then there's less to talk about.
Skyward is more universal to use that is why it is above lost prayer, i am pretty sure why you think lost prayer is better cause that 33% crit rate is really tempting😅 isn't it @@lolidemon3163

The passive will rarely proc unless you're playing an on field main dps catalyst user. Widsith exists and should be up every rotation. It's placement is 100% justified
@@SebastianThebrave but widsith buff is very random. Sometimes you may never even get the required passive. The weapon is really great for Wanderer, Neuvillette and Wriothesley if crit rate is very low.
@@gamerockz2141 there isn't an undesirable buff on the widsith. The argument was "it's a really good weapon with good stats and passive". A universally good passive regardless of what it lands on IS BETTER than a passive that won't activate at all. And to that end if you're relying on that specific passive to proc to justify using the weapon at all, then your artifacts need some serious work
@@SebastianThebrave I use Lost prayers mainly for Wanderer even though I have 2 R5 widsiths. It really suits him. The weapons passive takes time for stacking but helpfully for any on field carry catalyst user. But widsith passive is inconsistent.
ngl we really need more great support weapons in the game, Elegy is amazing and can arguably be the best bow in the game, Freedom sword is good but it just doesn't feel as good and it's facing stiffer competition with Xiphos and Fav, Key and Crane are niche, but good, since key helps with dendro based teams and has other people who can use it. while Crane even if it only works on xianyun, it buffs the party plunges and it gives energy to her. Calamity is eh, it is shenhe's best but most of the time she prefers an ER weapon since she is an energy hogger as well. Jadefall, i don't know if i wanna talk about it, like it's just bad. it's not the part where it only works baizhu that i'm pissed at. i'm just pissed at it because one half is just an expensive PTA and the other half only buffs his personal damage, like wtf?? like if the stuff was shared based on healing and if the substat was ER it would have been amazing.

@@duongnguyen-s1i Rumor has it that there’s a Lead on the Genshin dev team that is extremely stingy and conservative. They used to work on the HI3 crew and during their time on it, HI3 had been incredibly stingy about rewards, and after they left to focus on Genshin, HI3’s rewards were much more generous to the players. HSR is a different dev team that isn’t influenced by the same Lead and so they’re much more generous than Genshin. Again that is the rumor. Easily could just be that HI3 dropped in popularity when Genshin came out and they were generous with rewards only to entice players so that they weren’t dropped completely. HSR also is a newer game and needs to keep players on the hook so they are more generous bc there isn’t as much content to keep fans engaged like Genshin has.
@@MugWitch i also heard but cant confirm. prob its true but its kinda unfair :(. there are clear qol that genshin doesnt have at all and never got implemented like u farm 1 calyx and u almost get all ur daily done, although i want u can advance story in hsr and get the daily points. and in hsr there is 4 end game mode release in 1 year while genshin has 2 for 3 years

Genshin is so far behind in that it’s silly. Even the exploration to complete dailies is rough when you’ve 100%’d everything. There’s a lot from HSR I wish Genshin would adjust, but it doesn’t seem like it will under current leadership :/
this video was so informative thank you!! i’m a relatively new player (6 months) so i’m still learning a lot of the basics - i would love a guide on which artifact domains are most “worth it” to farm in terms of the collective value, flexibility, potential uses of the two sets available! i’ve spent some time farming certain domains only to learn that one of the sets is fairly useless / niche for me, so i’d find it super helpful!
I pulled furina's weapon just for the drip, she looks so good with it, idc if its not even that good on her, i got at 10 pity and she looks gorgeous with it, never going to look ugly with that freaking pipe or fav sword
Lost Prayer a few tiers lower than Floating Dreams, Skyward Atlas and Kagura is a take of all time. Even if just comparing to Skyward Atlas it is more versatile and brings more damage because of Bennett
PJWS shouldn’t be below redhorn. PJWS is more universal. not many good claymore characters out there, let alone characters that can fully utilise redhorn. PJWS on the other hand is a universal stat stick and effect can be utilised easily
I just pulled Light of Foliar and my Alhaitham is now hitting the big numbers. Pretty big upgrade from Mistsplitter and Wolf Fang. Plus it's drippy as hell on him.
Happy to see Uraku so high up. I pulled it in advance, simply had a good feeling about it. I use it on Clorinde and have Yun Jin to proc its effect. It’s honestly awesome.
As an Itto main, I ended up with Uraku too by accident, but I honestly couldn't have been happier. I wish I had gotten like 3 of them, because Furina/Albedo/Chlorinde work so well with it.
i also got uraku last time while pulling redhorn for noelle and it’s really good for my dps kazuha build while waiting for another mistsplitter rerun (skipped navia and ayaka rerun)
I lost to Key like a year ago on Nahida’s banner. But now I’m so happy that I have it cause C2 Furina, especially on vape teams. Guess things just work out sometimes
This didn't start well for me, since I'm using R2 Amos on my Tighnari... I'm not sure standard banner 5*s should be included here, because you're never going to choose to pull for them.
Aside from the Skyward series, the other standard banner weapons like Gravestone, Lost Prayer, Aquila, Jade Spear, and in your case, Amos, have actually been rate up weapons on banners in the past. In the case of Amos, it is Ganyu's signature weapon and thus would run alongside her banners and would need to be taken into consideration. I also think that it probably doesn't hurt - if you lost to one of the standard weapons - to see where it ranks in the grand scheme of things.
I was surprised when you said Calamity Queller is *realy Not good for Shenhe..* I'm guessing this probably has something to do with ER% requirements? However, I've been running Calamity Queller on Shenhe in my Ayaka / Shenhe / Kazuha / Kokomi team, and I haven't encountered any energy issues. Her build is very nice with Atk% main stats pieces and a focus on ER% and Atk% / flatAtk sub stats. It's also giving me a better buff than any other weapons I've tried so far. I would probably say Engulfing Lightning is 2nd best for me as it really makes her playstyle more comfortable and allows you to focus less on ER% sub stats.. but if your build is good enough, Calamity Queller is fine. I'd probably say Favonius Lance is also a great choice. A significantly lower buff, but easier to build and helps the team with energy. I'm interested to know more about the difficulties you and others have had when using Calamity Queller. If anyone has some more insight, please don't hesitate to share!
Yeah that take made me pause the video, like it gives her the best buff, and the most attack. L take honestly. Energy substats and the right team and you'll have no issues.
I lost 2 times to uraku while trying to get itto's weapon but I lowkey fw it, it has been my go to sword for clorinde and furina and I'm more than surprised by its' performance
I’m genuinely curious how Skyward Atlas is a decent stat stick and above Lost Prayers in the tier list. I have Atlas and it’s unbuilt despite being my only 5 star catalyst cause I cannot find a decent user for it. I’d much rather have Lost Prayers because at least it’s a top 3 contender for Wanderer. But if you know something I don’t please do share 😅
Lost prayer passive requires you to stay on field for too long before you actually get the whole passive buff. Meanwhile, skyward atlas provides more ATK and elemental damage bonus on top of that little thing that shoots out stuff. Lost prayer is still good because it has good base ATK and crit rate making it easier to be built around. But skyward is more consistent overall
how is lost prayers in C or D and lower than skyward atlas...? it is one of the better standard banner weapon and a good stat stick.. the movement speed passive is useless but the elemental dmg bonus is good for onfield dps char...
Well let me tell you that speed bonus is generally not useless. I run it with my wanderer without shield and he can dodge almost every projectile attack without even using dash.
I pulled for a signature weapon for the first time during my whole 2 and a half years account. Lost to Sigewinne's sig twice and I finally got Furina's weapon. I'm F2P and going forward, I'll just focus on getting and building the 5 star characters I need before getting signature weapons.
Even if it's on a low tier, if you pull a not wanted 5 star weapon or randomly get one on standard banner, almost every five star weapon is better than a 4 star option as a stat stick. My Ayaka does more damage with an aquila favonia than with any other 4 star weapon. And my Wolfs Gravestone Navia destroys abyss
Amenoma Kageuchi gives you a lot of energy recharge for Ayaka though, so you can build Atk or Crit more for her with her artifacts. With R5 Amenoma you can run Ayaka with 100% (base/default) ER.
I've lucked into Amos' Bow, Skyward Blade, and Wolf's Gravestone, which are respectively on Ganyu, Bennett, and Eula right now. Had Diluc with the Serpent Spine (so cracked paired with Zhongli), but then Itto needed something something...
Support weapons are great and I think out of all the weapons, they deserve to be pulled as if they were characters. Support weapons can elevate "bad" characters to usable. Freedom Sworn on Jean is a huge buff to her. It also makes Kirara viable for Alhaitham. Heck, it can even be used to make Albedo a buffer with Archaic Petra. Elegy makes Amber viable (she can reach something like 80% ATK buff and 100 EM with Elegy, C6, Noblesse, and Pyro res). Wandering Evenstar is competitive with Thousand Floating Dreams on Nahida. TFD makes Lisa a decent team buffer on top of her DEF shred. Makhaira Aquamarine makes C6 Sayu actually good. Xiphos' Moonlight can help with energy while not compromising EM entirely on Kazuha or Kirara or even Sunfire Jean. My favorite is that C4 Razor with Song of Broken Pines and Noblesse is actually a decent support for Raiden. (15% shred, 40% ATK, and ATK SPD.) He doesn't compromise too much damage with the field time necessary to procc SoBP unlike other claymore users, and he actually uses the stats.
as an f2p player I really don't wish on the weapon banner that much unless it's for specific characters I want to get their signature weapons for. My luckiest pull was song of broken pines and I did a single pull on that. A lucky loss with Staff of Houma when I was trying to get tomb of eternal flow and my best wish was crimson moons semblance. Amos bowl was my very first five star weapon
Verdict is the best because its best for navia... I spent like 35k primos on her and verdict, but atleast I got 2 misplitters which have had alot of use since
As of last week, I can now safely say: Furina's weapon was worth it, it looks so good on her! (Only the second sig I've ever pulled, and I never pull for 5* cons)
Weapons we don't see anymore on weapons banners like unforge or MoD should be added to Paimon Shop. When will they update the shop? Add a 3rd 4* character to the rotation at least so we can get characters that aren't just launch ones
I mean... Why is xianyun's weapon in A.. i know this is your opinion .. but she is literally the only character that can proc the passive in a comfortable way... Who else can reliability use a plunge atk mid fight? Also.. dehya claymore being lowered just because it's a claymore (?) like ...??? Clorinde weapon.. is pretty restricted to characters that can gain bond of life by themselves since there is not way to get it from somwhere that is not the character or the weapon itself.. so.. why is it so high? okay this is a pretty weird idea but what about a tierlist of sorts maybe more like a power chart of characters at differenrt cons, like obviously like razor is naturally worse than xinqiu, but c6 razor against c0 xinqiu isnt as close and everyone has different random cons. im for example wandering what to do with my tighnari since ive never even tried him and i have his c3 and whether or not that means i should be investing time into him or not
I rolled Beacon for my Diluc so it can be dual-useful in Burgeon Diluc and Plunge Diluc. It's honestly been a huge upgrade and though I despise the evil weapon banner, I am glad I got it. I was one of maybe 9 people who got Baizhu's signature weapon on purpose, and altho I know Protoype works great too, I just bit the bullet for ease of playing him because his weapon really do hit all his weak points and helps lift him up. Now my Baizhu is a tank of healer between that and him being C1 for the extra skill charge. Furina and Arlecchino's weapons were mostly gotten for the drip when I got the characters. Getting Lyney's signature on accident convinced me to get him as a character and try him out, and I'm increasingly glad I did, but I'm positive having his weapon helps make him easier than he may be otherwise. Basically get a weapon because you truly want it, as they're gonna require rolling devotion even more than trying for a character does!
I've been playing for over a year and a half now and somehow never heard of Memory of Dust before and I had to go do digging on Google just to figure out where tf that weapon was from and whose signature it was xD no idea how Ningguang as a 4* got a 5* limited banner signature but good for her ig lol
all I would like on my account are yelan and zhongli, then I would like to focus on wishing for more weapons! this will be very helpful for me in the future
I believe Light of foliar incision should be higher than A-, granted it might not be the greatest out there but it fits with mostly every DPS sword character. Especially since you put Absolution at A+ when only Clorinde can use it.
Only 3 weapon types in S. Crazy. Also I was under the impression that verdict was good for others too. I use it on drhya sometimes and it seems to perform pretty well.

1st 5* weapon was Amos. carried me for a good 1.5 years. then i activiely started going for weapons in 2022 on Itto's banner and i actually went for Xiao and his weapon when he had rerun. i knew it was on standard, but still xDD glad to see that some of the weapons i went for are pretty good/universal
As a diehard eula fan, I agree with you, she will be forever my main but for someone who doesn't just pull for looks/personality, another character would be a better pull
Personally think Verdict should be higher because we dont have many good/versatile 5star claymores and the 2 that are in A+ the one you cant even get unless chronical banner reruns again which hasnt since its release in... 4.5? And the odds you'd have a redhorn laying around is unlikely unless you're an Itto main or it happened to be paired with another weapon you were going for and wanted. The base atk and 20% atk increase on Verdict is pretty good and the crit rate isn't bad when paired on a character running MH or Obsidian codex provide 36-40% crit rate. The only thing situational with Verdict is the 18% elemental skill increase as the user needs to pick up crystallize so you'd need to run a geo unit which you often may find yourself doing with either Zhongli or Xilonen
If i ever pull on the weapon banner it'll probably be when there's a good 5 star sword and a good 5 star catalist bc for the other weapon types i already have Skyward Harp and Jade Spear
After seen fontain power creep, the characters who can use any low investment/f2p/craftable weapon and still clear enemies almost like their signature weapons . Imo I should pull new characters and their cons because all fontain characters having good c1/c2 . And we also getting the theatre (end game) in few days ,and they wanted us to use more characters to clear . So I will prefer 5* characters over any 5* weapons . As an f2p we getting 50 pulls avarage on each patch so we can garanty a characters in 160 pulls and it takes more than 3 patches and if u need to garanty a specific weapon u need atleast 210 so it takes over 4 patch of saving. So imo 5* characters should be better for f2p players.
A dedicated video isn't really worth it and in a 4* tier list they will be pretty low considering their costs (nearly 5 wishes per R). Generally if you have billets rather build the fontain / Sumeru weapons as many of them are better than Blackcliff and Royal was never really worth it in the first place.
I still think they did Vortex dirty. When they revamped Zhongli's scaling they should have revamped Vortex into a HP% main stat. It would have been so much better that way
I disagree with some placements, like Mistsplitter being recommended over Foliar and Furina and Xianyun's signatures being so high, but I think it's fine. I'd also keep Key in A.

Most of my 5 star weapons were me being silly with a couple pulls and genshin rewarding me for it, except the first great magic, I wanted the arleccino signature because I have no good lances for dps
I always felt bad about wasting two ten pills in the weapon banner as a newbie so I tried my luck on one of raiders reruns doing singles and got EL at 68 wishes in. I consider that insane luck but I can't see you g for any more unless it's another aqua/home just bc I love character and team mix ups. But yeah the power would be nice too.
this is perfect for me bc I now have all the rerun characters I want (after i got alhaitham) so I decided to pull for his weapon and not surprisingly got scammed lol lost 50/50 twice and still didnt get his weapon
skyward spine over skyward harp 100% imo - a second catch vs a bow that's often outperformed by 4* or even 3* weapons. for me the answer which is better is obvious
i would appreciate something similar but for 5* constellations, i know most units benefit the most from C1/C2, but it's quite hard for me to figure out which C1 is more valuable than another C1 etc.
I think you put Foliar a bit too low. It provides more total CV than any other weapon, and Alhaitham's early constellations are so underwhelming that it's definitely a higher priority than them if you're maining him. It's also a good option for Clorinde Aggravate teams.
I agree with Aqua being on S tier, however, i just dont find this weapon that good on Yelan, and is not because the weapon is bad by any means, but Elegy and Favonius for me is just strong for different teams and the ER is quite important on her, Especially in teams where she is the only Hydro applicator in the teams.

It's a bit of a misconception to think that ATK% rolls have more value if you have more base attack (unless you're dual scaling, like Aggravate/Spread dps). Crit weapons also don't really make ATK% rolls better as crit scales better the more you have of it (until like 300CV i think?). So while these weapons are generally great boosts to your characters and make their stat sheets look more impressive, they don't actually make building your characters any "easier".

To use Clorinde as an example, if you’re using Finale with its 565 base attack, a 5% attack roll will give you 28.25 attack, with Absolution’s 674 base attack you’re getting 33.7 attack. It’s not much, but it does lower the threshold where attack starts being as good as crit. (Edit, while the math is technically right, it doesn’t actually have a bearing on value vs Crit rolls since it’s all relative and crit is calculated multiplicatively, thank you to the other commenter that corrected me)
You are correct about the 300cv stat (75/150 crit ratio) where crit stats falling off, so we can calculate with that. Every character has 60cv to start with (5% rate and 50% dmg), and a circlet will give you 62 CV with its main stat. That’s 122cv, which means you need an average of 35cv on each of your artifacts before you should even think about valuing ATK%, 35cv can be really tough, especially on goblets and circlets. An 66cv weapon (for average sake, the 88cv weapons make this more crazy) lowers your average CV need on your artifacts to 22.4. That’s huge, absolutely massive and shouldn’t be understated.

Also some new 5* get Bonus Passives with Crit (like Clorinde)
All that made particularly Crit rate Weapon‘s really hard to Build.
Characters like Rizzly, Ayaka or Clorinde are hard to build with a crit rate weapon and overcap 100% with some single crit rate rolls
Honestly, a weapon providing cv at all is super nice since crit has one of the lowest roll chances for artifacts. It's much easier to then throw on a crit circlet, get high atk/HP, and have a playable character to get you started.
My biggest regret was not going for the banner when aqua and homa were on the banner

the only banner I've ever whaled on and I got a double pull of Homa on my 3rd try. Ended up with 2 Elegy's and 2 Homas for my whaling and it has 100% carried my account since then. Fortunate to learn my lesson that weapon banner is a scam from that particular banner.

@@jelouswitch1238 Wait this is wild because I had literally the same experience. I was going to try my luck getting Aqua and decided to pull on the weapon banner only until I got a 5*. I got an early 5* (30/40 pity) and it turned out to be both Homa and Lost Prayers in a single 10-pull so I thought "well shit, might as well not let the EP points go to waste." I finally got Aqua after another 60+ pulls.
I think "lost prayer" is not that niche, I mean, you can use it with Wriothesley, scaramouche, Neuvilette, etc. While the speed bonus is meme, the damage bonus, crit, and high base attack make it a good option for dps in the field.

Honestly I slot it alongside Jade Cutter and Jade Spear as a really solid generalist weapon that is usually in the top 3 for pretty much any character that can equip it.
On-field catalyst users are really good with it.
It just gets out-dps by widsith so why value high. Same goes for alot of claymores and serpent spine
Honestly I think the truth with 5 star weapons now is Hoyo really doesn't make true "universal" weapons anymore. The closest we've had to one lately was Lyney's Bow, The First Great Magic, and that released all the way back in 4.0 and it's only for Charge Attack characters.
Like I think the truth is Hoyo knows people pull way more for constellations than weapons so they hyperfocused on making signifanct buffs to the early cons of characters.

You address this in the way you lay out your tiers, but I'd be curious to see if/how rankings would change between two parallel tier lists: one for "how good is it on its Intended User" and one for "how good is it on literally everybody EXCEPT its Intended User."

Lost prayer should be at least in A- tier. It's a really good weapon with good stats and passive.
The passive will rarely proc unless you're playing an on field main dps catalyst user. Widsith exists and should be up every rotation. It's placement is 100% justified

A universally good passive regardless of what it lands on IS BETTER than a passive that won't activate at all. And to that end if you're relying on that specific passive to proc to justify using the weapon at all, then your artifacts need some serious work

ngl we really need more great support weapons in the game, Elegy is amazing and can arguably be the best bow in the game, Freedom sword is good but it just doesn't feel as good and it's facing stiffer competition with Xiphos and Fav, Key and Crane are niche, but good, since key helps with dendro based teams and has other people who can use it. while Crane even if it only works on xianyun, it buffs the party plunges and it gives energy to her. Calamity is eh, it is shenhe's best but most of the time she prefers an ER weapon since she is an energy hogger as well. Jadefall, i don't know if i wanna talk about it, like it's just bad. it's not the part where it only works baizhu that i'm pissed at. i'm just pissed at it because one half is just an expensive PTA and the other half only buffs his personal damage, like wtf?? like if the stuff was shared based on healing and if the substat was ER it would have been amazing.

They used to work on the HI3 crew and during their time on it, HI3 had been incredibly stingy about rewards, and after they left to focus on Genshin, HI3’s rewards were much more generous to the players. HSR is a different dev team that isn’t influenced by the same Lead and so they’re much more generous than Genshin.
Again that is the rumor. Easily could just be that HI3 dropped in popularity when Genshin came out and they were generous with rewards only to entice players so that they weren’t dropped completely. HSR also is a newer game and needs to keep players on the hook so they are more generous bc there isn’t as much content to keep fans engaged like Genshin has.

Genshin is so far behind in that it’s silly. Even the exploration to complete dailies is rough when you’ve 100%’d everything. There’s a lot from HSR I wish Genshin would adjust, but it doesn’t seem like it will under current leadership :/
this video was so informative thank you!! i’m a relatively new player (6 months) so i’m still learning a lot of the basics - i would love a guide on which artifact domains are most “worth it” to farm in terms of the collective value, flexibility, potential uses of the two sets available! i’ve spent some time farming certain domains only to learn that one of the sets is fairly useless / niche for me, so i’d find it super helpful!
if you have furina, the hunter and golden troupe domain is really worth farming for. next is momiji, since emblem and shimenawa is universal!
I pulled furina's weapon just for the drip, she looks so good with it, idc if its not even that good on her, i got at 10 pity and she looks gorgeous with it, never going to look ugly with that freaking pipe or fav sword

PJWS shouldn’t be below redhorn. PJWS is more universal. not many good claymore characters out there, let alone characters that can fully utilise redhorn. PJWS on the other hand is a universal stat stick and effect can be utilised easily

I use it on Clorinde and have Yun Jin to proc its effect. It’s honestly awesome.
As an Itto main, I ended up with Uraku too by accident, but I honestly couldn't have been happier. I wish I had gotten like 3 of them, because Furina/Albedo/Chlorinde work so well with it.
i also got uraku last time while pulling redhorn for noelle and it’s really good for my dps kazuha build while waiting for another mistsplitter rerun (skipped navia and ayaka rerun)
I lost to Key like a year ago on Nahida’s banner. But now I’m so happy that I have it cause C2 Furina, especially on vape teams. Guess things just work out sometimes

This didn't start well for me, since I'm using R2 Amos on my Tighnari... I'm not sure standard banner 5*s should be included here, because you're never going to choose to pull for them.
Some people still can choose to get them like when ganyu or xiao rerun because they are their "signature" although amos makes no sense
Aside from the Skyward series, the other standard banner weapons like Gravestone, Lost Prayer, Aquila, Jade Spear, and in your case, Amos, have actually been rate up weapons on banners in the past. In the case of Amos, it is Ganyu's signature weapon and thus would run alongside her banners and would need to be taken into consideration. I also think that it probably doesn't hurt - if you lost to one of the standard weapons - to see where it ranks in the grand scheme of things.
I was surprised when you said Calamity Queller is *realy Not good for Shenhe..*
I'm guessing this probably has something to do with ER% requirements?
However, I've been running Calamity Queller on Shenhe in my Ayaka / Shenhe / Kazuha / Kokomi team, and I haven't encountered any energy issues. Her build is very nice with Atk% main stats pieces and a focus on ER% and Atk% / flatAtk sub stats.
It's also giving me a better buff than any other weapons I've tried so far.
I would probably say Engulfing Lightning is 2nd best for me as it really makes her playstyle more comfortable and allows you to focus less on ER% sub stats.. but if your build is good enough, Calamity Queller is fine.
I'd probably say Favonius Lance is also a great choice. A significantly lower buff, but easier to build and helps the team with energy.
I'm interested to know more about the difficulties you and others have had when using Calamity Queller. If anyone has some more insight, please don't hesitate to share!

I lost 2 times to uraku while trying to get itto's weapon but I lowkey fw it, it has been my go to sword for clorinde and furina and I'm more than surprised by its' performance

I’m genuinely curious how Skyward Atlas is a decent stat stick and above Lost Prayers in the tier list. I have Atlas and it’s unbuilt despite being my only 5 star catalyst cause I cannot find a decent user for it. I’d much rather have Lost Prayers because at least it’s a top 3 contender for Wanderer. But if you know something I don’t please do share 😅
Lost prayer passive requires you to stay on field for too long before you actually get the whole passive buff. Meanwhile, skyward atlas provides more ATK and elemental damage bonus on top of that little thing that shoots out stuff. Lost prayer is still good because it has good base ATK and crit rate making it easier to be built around. But skyward is more consistent overall
if you're wondering who to put it on, you can give it to Xianyun and Charlotte for Healing
how is lost prayers in C or D and lower than skyward atlas...? it is one of the better standard banner weapon and a good stat stick.. the movement speed passive is useless but the elemental dmg bonus is good for onfield dps char...
Well let me tell you that speed bonus is generally not useless.
I run it with my wanderer without shield and he can dodge almost every projectile attack without even using dash.
It's too slow and has a lower base ATK than a lot of weapons
This is a video I never knew I wanted until now, but I did make my own 5 star weapon tier list/wishlist recently
I pulled for a signature weapon for the first time during my whole 2 and a half years account. Lost to Sigewinne's sig twice and I finally got Furina's weapon. I'm F2P and going forward, I'll just focus on getting and building the 5 star characters I need before getting signature weapons.
Even if it's on a low tier, if you pull a not wanted 5 star weapon or randomly get one on standard banner, almost every five star weapon is better than a 4 star option as a stat stick. My Ayaka does more damage with an aquila favonia than with any other 4 star weapon. And my Wolfs Gravestone Navia destroys abyss
Amenoma Kageuchi gives you a lot of energy recharge for Ayaka though, so you can build Atk or Crit more for her with her artifacts. With R5 Amenoma you can run Ayaka with 100% (base/default) ER.
I'd rather have Amenoma than Favonia on Ayaka 💀💀

I've lucked into Amos' Bow, Skyward Blade, and Wolf's Gravestone, which are respectively on Ganyu, Bennett, and Eula right now. Had Diluc with the Serpent Spine (so cracked paired with Zhongli), but then Itto needed something something...
Support weapons are great and I think out of all the weapons, they deserve to be pulled as if they were characters. Support weapons can elevate "bad" characters to usable.
Freedom Sworn on Jean is a huge buff to her. It also makes Kirara viable for Alhaitham. Heck, it can even be used to make Albedo a buffer with Archaic Petra.
Elegy makes Amber viable (she can reach something like 80% ATK buff and 100 EM with Elegy, C6, Noblesse, and Pyro res).
Wandering Evenstar is competitive with Thousand Floating Dreams on Nahida. TFD makes Lisa a decent team buffer on top of her DEF shred.
Makhaira Aquamarine makes C6 Sayu actually good.
Xiphos' Moonlight can help with energy while not compromising EM entirely on Kazuha or Kirara or even Sunfire Jean.
My favorite is that C4 Razor with Song of Broken Pines and Noblesse is actually a decent support for Raiden. (15% shred, 40% ATK, and ATK SPD.) He doesn't compromise too much damage with the field time necessary to procc SoBP unlike other claymore users, and he actually uses the stats.
as an f2p player I really don't wish on the weapon banner that much unless it's for specific characters I want to get their signature weapons for. My luckiest pull was song of broken pines and I did a single pull on that. A lucky loss with Staff of Houma when I was trying to get tomb of eternal flow and my best wish was crimson moons semblance.

okay this is a pretty weird idea but what about a tierlist of sorts maybe more like a power chart of characters at differenrt cons, like obviously like razor is naturally worse than xinqiu, but c6 razor against c0 xinqiu isnt as close and everyone has different random cons. im for example wandering what to do with my tighnari since ive never even tried him and i have his c3 and whether or not that means i should be investing time into him or not
I rolled Beacon for my Diluc so it can be dual-useful in Burgeon Diluc and Plunge Diluc. It's honestly been a huge upgrade and though I despise the evil weapon banner, I am glad I got it. I was one of maybe 9 people who got Baizhu's signature weapon on purpose, and altho I know Protoype works great too, I just bit the bullet for ease of playing him because his weapon really do hit all his weak points and helps lift him up. Now my Baizhu is a tank of healer between that and him being C1 for the extra skill charge. Furina and Arlecchino's weapons were mostly gotten for the drip when I got the characters. Getting Lyney's signature on accident convinced me to get him as a character and try him out, and I'm increasingly glad I did, but I'm positive having his weapon helps make him easier than he may be otherwise.
Basically get a weapon because you truly want it, as they're gonna require rolling devotion even more than trying for a character does!

I believe Light of foliar incision should be higher than A-, granted it might not be the greatest out there but it fits with mostly every DPS sword character. Especially since you put Absolution at A+ when only Clorinde can use it.

Personally think Verdict should be higher because we dont have many good/versatile 5star claymores and the 2 that are in A+ the one you cant even get unless chronical banner reruns again which hasnt since its release in... 4.5? And the odds you'd have a redhorn laying around is unlikely unless you're an Itto main or it happened to be paired with another weapon you were going for and wanted. The base atk and 20% atk increase on Verdict is pretty good and the crit rate isn't bad when paired on a character running MH or Obsidian codex provide 36-40% crit rate. The only thing situational with Verdict is the 18% elemental skill increase as the user needs to pick up crystallize so you'd need to run a geo unit which you often may find yourself doing with either Zhongli or Xilonen
Haran is great on many sword DPS characters. Ayato, keqing, chlorinde, alhaitham...Definitely deserves to be tiered higher.

After seen fontain power creep, the characters who can use any low investment/f2p/craftable weapon and still clear enemies almost like their signature weapons .
Imo I should pull new characters and their cons because all fontain characters having good c1/c2 .
And we also getting the theatre (end game) in few days ,and they wanted us to use more characters to clear . So I will prefer 5* characters over any 5* weapons .
As an f2p we getting 50 pulls avarage on each patch so we can garanty a characters in 160 pulls and it takes more than 3 patches and if u need to garanty a specific weapon u need atleast 210 so it takes over 4 patch of saving.
So imo 5* characters should be better for f2p players.

Could add stardust weapons to a tier list. Whether to make it part of a general 4 star weapons guide or not I'll leave to you.
A dedicated video isn't really worth it and in a 4* tier list they will be pretty low considering their costs (nearly 5 wishes per R).
Generally if you have billets rather build the fontain / Sumeru weapons as many of them are better than Blackcliff and Royal was never really worth it in the first place.
TGS mentioned in his video: Dont pull 5* weapons for your supports like their signature cuz weapons like favonius should always be better
Ehhhh. I disagree. I think Elegy is better in most teams than Favonius. I'd also rather have Key on Furina than I ever would Favonius.
I still think they did Vortex dirty. When they revamped Zhongli's scaling they should have revamped Vortex into a HP% main stat. It would have been so much better that way

I disagree with some placements, like Mistsplitter being recommended over Foliar and Furina and Xianyun's signatures being so high, but I think it's fine. I'd also keep Key in A.
gonna try getting elegy and jade cutter one day! just to have an in one support weapon and a general dps wep, i think my account can be complete and then ill pull sigs w/o worry for primos

Most of my 5 star weapons were me being silly with a couple pulls and genshin rewarding me for it, except the first great magic, I wanted the arleccino signature because I have no good lances for dps
low key came out at the perfect time, but I know the weapons I need for my account. (my roster only contains two 5 stars)
I always felt bad about wasting two ten pills in the weapon banner as a newbie so I tried my luck on one of raiders reruns doing singles and got EL at 68 wishes in. I consider that insane luck but I can't see you g for any more unless it's another aqua/home just bc I love character and team mix ups. But yeah the power would be nice too.
this is perfect for me bc I now have all the rerun characters I want (after i got alhaitham) so I decided to pull for his weapon and not surprisingly got scammed lol lost 50/50 twice and still didnt get his weapon
skyward spine over skyward harp 100% imo - a second catch vs a bow that's often outperformed by 4* or even 3* weapons. for me the answer which is better is obvious
i would appreciate something similar but for 5* constellations, i know most units benefit the most from C1/C2, but it's quite hard for me to figure out which C1 is more valuable than another C1 etc.
I think you put Foliar a bit too low. It provides more total CV than any other weapon, and Alhaitham's early constellations are so underwhelming that it's definitely a higher priority than them if you're maining him. It's also a good option for Clorinde Aggravate teams.
I agree with Aqua being on S tier, however, i just dont find this weapon that good on Yelan, and is not because the weapon is bad by any means, but Elegy and Favonius for me is just strong for different teams and the ER is quite important on her, Especially in teams where she is the only Hydro applicator in the teams.
