I am the owner of the account in the video! In short, I love Genshin for the story, characters and exploring, and my least favorite part of the game, as you might notice, is the grind and combat. I never had enough time and understanding to build my characters properly. As Soluna noted in the video, I have been playing for 3 years and left the game and returned back for multiple times. I always had a problem that I could never enjoy the game because of underleveled characters and artifacts, and when I tried to get artifacts or boss materials I couldn't because I kept dying or performing really underwhelming so the cycle continued. And besides I didn't have that much time to fully invest in grinding, so I would rather spend it to enjoy the story or exploring. Therefore, levellig up and grind became a terrible process for me, which discouraged the desire to even enter the game. Thanks to Soluna, I can now really enjoy all aspects of the game with the characters I love. I am really grateful for your help! Wish luck to everyone who is reading this comment
I was in exactly your position the first time I tried Genshin, and like you was getting sick of the grind and artefact system, so I stopped playing. Two years later I returned, and for some reason, the QoL updates and other things have made the game feel more bearable. I would say don't sleep on exploring your unknown map regions, that part of the game is still top tier.
Interesting. I stayed at ar35 for ages to avoid this problem. When I finally opened the flood gates it took me all the way to ar56 - but at this point I was ready for the high world level. Nice to hear I am not the only one who struggled with combat initially.
Hoyo always gives casual players OP luck on pulls and there are players like me who love to have as many characters and try to complete every content in the game and we get dirt cheap luck. i love that you show casual accounts like this! people care about different things in this game and tbh the daily grind does get tiring if you don't enjoy building characters or don't know how to handle resources
I know you prefer to give information and guide people in the right direction on what to farm but I thoroughly enjoyed watching you farm and then see the progress you made by being able to fully clear until floor 11!
one little ting i appreciate is that soluna gives so much information and still manages to respect the person, even through making silly jokes, and i love the fact that soluna uses "they" most of the time, such little things make up for such an amazing content creator, always entertaining videos and lives too!
Wow, this is an incredible effort - very satisfying to watch it unfold. I'm impressed with your editing to show all the important parts while still keeping the video ~40min. The big win with this video is seeing what sorts of stuff to prioritize to make things functional and what can be safely ignored until later. @@ethelcat Goal will pretty much always be to strike a balance but ultimately do whatever I can for an account across a few day period after initially logging in. So how mucb farming I do is dependent on the accounts I choose, and I dont normallt choose specifically based on available fragiles, but having some available gives me many more options haha. So there will at least be more farming in future videos

I built Dehya for my Kinnich. Shes actually really good. I just need her skill. I dont like Xiangling either. My Bennet is 80 lvl but Dehya's fire field is bigger so she makes more sense.

Oniibun's account looks like my 100% exploration account. Lots of areas blanked out, not a lot of 5* artifacts and a decent amount of 5*s lol Very fun to watch!
When trying to long term fix my friends accounts, I do XP/mora bubbles in the nation that has the drops needed. You'll still need to go farm more handguards or mushrooms or gears or whatever, but you get a lot of drops from doing the bubbles. Doing two things at once helps with my motivation. I think it should save time too
i totally understand the account owners reasoning. i’m mostly the same way, kinda hate the grind but at the same time i do wanna see some big numbers so im not where i should be but im at least in a good place
edit: omg the flowers, yeah :/ nahida is someone I want to pick up, starting with nothing and not even in the nation and its so... just god this game can be a chore and I wonder why I keep doing it (sunk cost probably... and also god I have so much fun with kazuha... and zhongli ult...) this account is very familiar to me... not to this level, but I played a ton early in the games lifestyle, stopped barely into inazuma. I have tons of old stuff because was a bit of a whale, but never actually farmed much, or did things "efficiently" and it kinda sucks coming back for the 5.0 (just before it) because friends wanted me to give it another try, and just... dread... at how much work there is to be done to get anything particularly effective for where I think my account could have been... Also damn I pulled like an idiot... I guess first gatcha game does that somewhat, as well as my own issues. So many pyro dps... diluc c6, hutao(who isnt even fully leveled because despite her strength I ended up not liking playing her), yoimia c1 from trying to get 4star I think, got 2 double early "winning" the 50/50, what a place to burn that luck, also not leveled... And klee c1, from getting my first copy of the little bomb gremlin early, so "ah, ill just do a bit more pulls" and then winning early there too :/ meanwhile every other element is... not fleshed out. But yeah, definitely not the same as this player, just seeing all the "Work" needed, despite the large roster of 5stars, feels familiar
Yeah, getting over that initial hump (which is basically what I did this video), just takes a lot of time, and it really does seem to scare aware more casual players (or more broadly just players who dont have time to farm daily or what not)
farming for extra fodder in the domains kinda pains me when you could've saved resin 😭 you can actually farm 1 star artifacts for fodder daily without spending resin which could be useful in the future for accounts with minimal fragiles! though it's limited to 100 investigations a day you can still get quite a bit of fodder! love the video!!
That's not exactly worth it, it's extremely small amount of experience for extremely long farming(I once tried it, when I didn't have resin and gosh... I just logged out and waited till tomorrow, results were really upsetting..)
@@Mnelenochenlen wrong, it gives almost as much fodder as domains do per day. it's 60k artifact exp, or about 110k mora if you sell the artifacts instead (which yields less value but still good). it's annoying, but if you do it, it is a MASSIVE boost to your account. it takes 15 to 20 minutes to do if you know what you're doing. if you do that say 5 times a week for a year it's basically worth 144 days of domain farming in fodder. doing thjis every day puts you ahead of someone not doing it by over 50%. this, or you can spend 200 primogens a day buying resin for the sameish amount of fodder. which one do you think is more worth it? of course you can just not do either like i am currently doing. but for the first 3 years of this game, i have probably done it in just about 2/3 of the days i logged in, and it showed. "But it's a waste of time" well i did it while cycling on a stationary bike. it was totally not a waste of time 😉 now i have a professional treadmill for that but i don't desperately need artifact xp for anything so i use the treadmill time to push up my game backlog instead.
Would be cool if you still tried spiral abyss 12 even if it's a no-star clear on these accounts. The best part about these account fixing videos for me is seeing the new builds on the hardest content.

@@lrose5522 Meh. I think if you're handing over your account for a CC to fix, having them test the limits of the teams / builds is a given. Doing floor 12 on a decently built team isn't going to take very long. I'm not asking for a 36 star clear, just take the team in so we can see the result of all the changes and how it measures up to the only challenging content the game has to offer. If the team can't clear, then at least we can see how far away it is. Whether he wants to is up to him, I'm just saying for me it's a let down to watch the entire account fixing process and then not be able to see how the teams actually function in difficult content. Spiral abyss floor 11 doesn't really show how successful the fix is, when you can take a two week old account and clear that.
oof this account is literally me, i didn't farm anything until AR 46 when I started having problems fighting overworld enemies, and also I realized that having random 4 star artifacts not even leveled up to the max is not a good idea also I haven't leveled up any talents until that point because I didn't even knew about them
I mean I'm stuck having to build like 50ish characters mainly because I never got around to it until now, and mainly because the materials needed for half the characters are a little ridiculous considering the amount we actually get in game. Like each character needs about 12 weekly boss materials to get to level 8 or 9 talents, most characters share weekly boss materials and you can only claim the reward once a week so that's mainly why I stopped. That and talent domains being daily locked, really wish they would remove that. I also build and play whoever because I don't care about "meta" in this game as it's really not a game that needs it. If you have people actively judging you about not getting 36 stars in spiral abyss or max rewards in imagination theater or even taking longer than 30 seconds in a dungeon, then in reality they're the ones that need more help not you. No offense to anyone but just let people play the way they want to and let them use whoever they want to, the game doesn't have about 110 characters atm just so you can use the same 8
16:30 you do need to use teleport way point 10 times to refresh boss, use the trial character feature and then just exit right away you will be in the same spot and the boss will be back as well, bosses respawn instantly now.

I would rather say it shows Soluna’s game knowledge. Knowing what to prioritize farming and building teams which can work on low investment. Of course he couldn’t have done it so quickly without the fragile resin, but the account owner clearly wouldn’t have improved the account this much if they just used the fragile resin themselves.
i feel like if genshin had an autogrind system like hsr it would make people so much more willing to do it. Or maybe they could make it so you choose the set and main stat you want in a domain, that would be an amazing qol.

I'm only at the beginning of the video and just wanted to say that hu tao's flowers are enough pyro app for mualani to vape. In the case of a low invested account like this one i think it is relevant to put hu tao in mualani's team at least for early farm where you don't have many other options. (This is probably poorly phrased, english is not my first language but you get the idea)

Sometimes I check streamers video and their content thinking, "Why they need to make some content about basic knowledge about Genshin??" Then started to realize that not all the players do their research about mechanism in the game or properly prioritize their resources, which is something EXTREMMLY important in Genshin
I really need to fix my account I'm in a very similar spot as them with a few 5 star character differences (I do still have a decent amount just not any newer ones besides xilonen) and I am very excited to get my builds working but it is HARD😅
I'm really feel the lack of endgame contents and difficulty of the abyss and IT as _casual_ player, even the current co-op events felt so borish bacause how easy it is, but in other hands there is some people who doesnt really care about the difficult stuff and just wanna enjoy the story.
f2p here and i have 13/14 five star characters on a recently moved to ar 56 account. My luck of pulling 5 stars increased alot since i pulled kazuha.. have him at c1 right now and would never stop maining him. started playing on and off since sumeru, fontaine and natlan released so i mainly have 5 stars from inazuma and before, and i really like exploring instead of doing fomains and farming to build so i have none of them ascended from 80 and most of my 5 stars are stuck at 50/60 or even 20 like yae, albedo, tighnari, zhongli, qiqi ( on level 1), diluc, dehya, kokomi except for kazuha, ayaka, raiden, eula and mona basically most of my 4 stars are on lvl 20 ://

My account is similar and made in late December 2021. I'm still only AR 56 with 10 5 stars but I have been grinding but getting unlucky with my artifact substats.

This is why i also quit genshin before cause I didn’t know how to build and was only there for the storyline good thing i have diluc, ayaka, wanderer and kokomi carrying me up to ar 55. That’s my lesson learned if you want an easy life while playing genshin make sure to at least build 3-4 characters at ar45 but I think good part of it is that now I have mualani and kinich who are one of theeee most easiest to build characters in the game specially Kinnich!!! And if ur already at the same situation as this player dw u can still catch up! But always make sure to only use your exp books on characters you would really build fully cause using it everywhere is a waste and just furthers your misery Ps. I am not on short of 5* actually have decent amount it’s just that if I don’t like the game play I don’t use them anymore nor level them up hahahaha lesson learned for me
Im kinda curious about those type of players, like i get they are casual but in that case they don't level up characters nor weapons, don't do a lot of exploration, don't have exp books nor stack pile of anything. Do they play the game ? what do they spend resin on ? are they just doing main question and that's it ? In 3 years with everything the game provide even if you just play ultra casual you can have ressources. i just geniualy wonders what they do because that's not 3 years of casual playing
20:26 4pc obsidian codex already gives %40 crit rate when she uses night soul points by her E so %20 cr is pretty enought for a natlan character thats using obsidian i mean its %60 crit rate in total
I disagree on the favonius refinements. I think it's better to have one thing that does what it's supposed to, instead of one that works 60% of the time and a couple more collecting dust. If you have a low crit rate and don't do many attacks, you really want that crit hit to generate particles.

0:38 I'm AR 57 f2p and have 9 limited 5* characters, make it to 15 if we're counting standards and their cons (😭). Am I really one that on the lucky side or what? I don't pull for weapons, but I do have 3 5* standards weapons though. Edit: I forgot to add that I start playing around October 2023 I think, I distinctively remember when Ayato/Cyno banner active.
It would be best to join a Discord like the one for this channel or any other Genshin related Discord to get individualised help and be able to ask questions live. You'll usually want to post which character or team you like to play, and ask how to level them up properly, and get answers from other players. The artifact system is designed to give players anxiety (to tempt people into resin refreshing), so it is unnecessarily complex and not able to be answered in a single RUclips comment for all cases.
As a veteran player I can try to give some long winded general advice 😅 How newbie are you? If you’re pre AR 45 artifact domains aren’t guaranteed to give 5* drops. Pre AR 40, they won’t give gold at all. While still annoying with drop number RNG, spending resin on raising character levels, weapon levels, and talent levels are all guaranteed ways to make your characters stronger that you can focus on. Just don’t try to build everyone at once 😬 Once you get to that AR 40-45 range you can start focusing more on artifacts. To physically complete domains faster you can always do co-op random match or put something like “please help me farm” in your signature to fish in a -bored- compassionate high AR player to join your world. As for how to build, I’d recommend individual character guides! Keqing Mains is a great source of you don’t mind reading and there’s plenty of video guides across RUclips that will give recommendations on weapons, stats, teams, and what talents to prioritize or even leave completely unleveled. It’s important to know what stats a character scales with or if they require high Energy Recharge from being burst reliant for proper builds. It’s also advisable to just keep ER and Elemental Mastery (not the same as elemental damage, as I learned the hard way in my time as a baby player misunderstanding how to build Ningguang lol) main stat pieces on any set regardless of sub stats due to their broad value and rarity. Also good to keep a stash of specifically Instructor & Exile 4* pieces for this reason. If you want a general answer without looking up stuff, generally Fontaine’s Hunter/Troupe, Sumeru’s Deepwood/Gilded, and Natlan’s Codex/Scroll (primarily if you have characters from the region, tho has a chance of more broad value with pyro archon release if she takes after Furina), are the highest value to physically farm in, while Emblem, Viridescent Venerer, and situationally Noblesse and Tenacity have the most value to strongbox followed by individual elemental DPS sets like Crimson and Blizzard. Your primary goal is acquiring relevant *main* stats to the character over set bonuses and substats which are secondary. Crit substat pieces are nice, but don’t slap them on a character if the main stat doesn’t align and don’t throw things away purely from lack of crit rolls when other stats are still quite relevant! And the only time you want to force a 4pc set is on a support to give a team wide buff, being specifically: Res Shred sets: -Deepwood shreds dendro resistance, doesn’t need to be held by dendro character since it triggers off skill and burst hits -Viridescent for shredding cryo/pyro/electro/hydro resistance, needs to be triggered by swirl so it requires being held by anemo characters And stat buffing sets: -Scroll for damage buffing when you want to buff reactions related to the holder’s elemental type, best held by Natlan characters -Instructor for teams who want EM buff, just needs any reaction to trigger -Noblesse for attack buff triggered by clicking burst (not refreshed on multiple burst hits like Ganyu’s burst sadly) -Tenacity for attack buff based on instances of skill, best used on off-field skill damage supports -Exile not direct ER stat buff, but gives energy to other teammates after clicking burst (worse version of Prototype Amber catalyst which works on user too and also heals) -HP and DEF specific scalers are paid dust lol -There is another niche damage buff set from Fontaine based on healing but it’s not in strongbox yet Generally there’s time limits on buff uptime and refresh rate that are important to read in the artifact 4pc set description to keep in mind for knowing when to optimally use them in a fight. Also typically only one instance of each buff/shred set will work at a time, so you won’t want 2 Noblesse users at a time in a team for example but you can do both a Noblesse and a Tenacity user in the same team. This is more niche information, but some characters gain access to using these support sets with constellations, like Kirara being able to better use Deepwood at C4 and Faruzan gaining Tenacity as arguably her best set at C6. In all other cases, remember that artifact set bonuses are also just stats! It’s totally ok to do 2pc 2pc or even rainbow sets if it means you’re getting more relevant stats, the artifact grind is long and you can always min max things later once you’re at a solid baseline. I’d say that baseline is the initial stopping point for artifacts is level 16 across the board of characters you want to use and after that push to level 20 since the required exp for that is much higher. As for who to build, it’s up to you! Every character is useable it just may take more time for some to reach end game level than others. Similarly if you hate a character to death as I certainly passionately do, don’t feel obligated to build them just because they are strong. I haven’t touched lazy bum, trash personality, manipulative rat, ugly ass back alley haircut in the pitch black Xingqiu for years and have been able to consistently max star all endgame content to the highest level just fine and that’s WITHOUT having Neuvillette, Furina, Kokomi, Yelan, Nilou, Mualani, and Sigewinne on my account! 😤 …Anyway point is don’t play a character if they will ruin your enjoyment of the game by existing because at the end of the day, the point of playing the game is said enjoyment. I would advise picking out just a couple ride or die favorite on field damage units that _you enjoy playing_ to build and look at character guides for them to see what supports/team archetypes are recommended and build those units too. Generally supports and off field damage dealers have a lot more longevity than on field damage dealers by their versatility in what teams they can be used in, so you want more of these more versatile units built than the characters that rely on them.

I'm unfortunately in a situation where I got a bunch of Fav weapons when I first started so I thought I'd get a whole bunch of them and refined them... and then I just never got any ever since.
tbh this account is not needing fixing per say, this person just needs to play the game more, do some exploration maybe, watch couple of videos on characters they most interested in to see where to move on from now on. if they rarely played in those 3 years i doubt that any account fixing will help this player to understand the game they barely played
Yeah, I didnt focus much on mechanics or what not this video because I figure oniibun just is gonna want to be able to deal some dmg without thinking much about it. Ultimately though I do think needing to level existing thing IS just another aspect of a Genshin account that could need “fixing” though, even if the problem and solution was obvious

So how mucb farming I do is dependent on the accounts I choose, and I dont normallt choose specifically based on available fragiles, but having some available gives me many more options haha. So there will at least be more farming in future videos

We only have 4: Dehya, Thoma, Xiangling, and Xinyan. The Xinyan case is made for herself, but it can be repurposed for others.

When trying to long term fix my friends accounts, I do XP/mora bubbles in the nation that has the drops needed. You'll still need to go farm more handguards or mushrooms or gears or whatever, but you get a lot of drops from doing the bubbles. Doing two things at once helps with my motivation. I think it should save time too

this account is very familiar to me... not to this level, but I played a ton early in the games lifestyle, stopped barely into inazuma. I have tons of old stuff because was a bit of a whale, but never actually farmed much, or did things "efficiently" and it kinda sucks coming back for the 5.0 (just before it) because friends wanted me to give it another try, and just... dread... at how much work there is to be done to get anything particularly effective for where I think my account could have been...
Also damn I pulled like an idiot... I guess first gatcha game does that somewhat, as well as my own issues. So many pyro dps... diluc c6, hutao(who isnt even fully leveled because despite her strength I ended up not liking playing her), yoimia c1 from trying to get 4star I think, got 2 double early "winning" the 50/50, what a place to burn that luck, also not leveled... And klee c1, from getting my first copy of the little bomb gremlin early, so "ah, ill just do a bit more pulls" and then winning early there too :/ meanwhile every other element is... not fleshed out.
But yeah, definitely not the same as this player, just seeing all the "Work" needed, despite the large roster of 5stars, feels familiar
Yeah, getting over that initial hump (which is basically what I did this video), just takes a lot of time, and it really does seem to scare aware more casual players (or more broadly just players who dont have time to farm daily or what not)

you can actually farm 1 star artifacts for fodder daily without spending resin which could be useful in the future for accounts with minimal fragiles! though it's limited to 100 investigations a day you can still get quite a bit of fodder! love the video!!
That's not exactly worth it, it's extremely small amount of experience for extremely long farming(I once tried it, when I didn't have resin and gosh... I just logged out and waited till tomorrow, results were really upsetting..)
@@Mnelenochenlen wrong, it gives almost as much fodder as domains do per day. it's 60k artifact exp, or about 110k mora if you sell the artifacts instead (which yields less value but still good). it's annoying, but if you do it, it is a MASSIVE boost to your account. it takes 15 to 20 minutes to do if you know what you're doing. if you do that say 5 times a week for a year it's basically worth 144 days of domain farming in fodder. doing thjis every day puts you ahead of someone not doing it by over 50%. this, or you can spend 200 primogens a day buying resin for the sameish amount of fodder. which one do you think is more worth it?
of course you can just not do either like i am currently doing. but for the first 3 years of this game, i have probably done it in just about 2/3 of the days i logged in, and it showed. "But it's a waste of time" well i did it while cycling on a stationary bike. it was totally not a waste of time 😉 now i have a professional treadmill for that but i don't desperately need artifact xp for anything so i use the treadmill time to push up my game backlog instead.

@@lrose5522 Meh. I think if you're handing over your account for a CC to fix, having them test the limits of the teams / builds is a given.
Doing floor 12 on a decently built team isn't going to take very long. I'm not asking for a 36 star clear, just take the team in so we can see the result of all the changes and how it measures up to the only challenging content the game has to offer. If the team can't clear, then at least we can see how far away it is.
Whether he wants to is up to him, I'm just saying for me it's a let down to watch the entire account fixing process and then not be able to see how the teams actually function in difficult content. Spiral abyss floor 11 doesn't really show how successful the fix is, when you can take a two week old account and clear that.

oof this account is literally me, i didn't farm anything until AR 46 when I started having problems fighting overworld enemies, and also I realized that having random 4 star artifacts not even leveled up to the max is not a good idea

I mean I'm stuck having to build like 50ish characters mainly because I never got around to it until now, and mainly because the materials needed for half the characters are a little ridiculous considering the amount we actually get in game. Like each character needs about 12 weekly boss materials to get to level 8 or 9 talents, most characters share weekly boss materials and you can only claim the reward once a week so that's mainly why I stopped. That and talent domains being daily locked, really wish they would remove that.
I also build and play whoever because I don't care about "meta" in this game as it's really not a game that needs it. If you have people actively judging you about not getting 36 stars in spiral abyss or max rewards in imagination theater or even taking longer than 30 seconds in a dungeon, then in reality they're the ones that need more help not you. No offense to anyone but just let people play the way they want to and let them use whoever they want to, the game doesn't have about 110 characters atm just so you can use the same 8

16:30 you do need to use teleport way point 10 times to refresh boss, use the trial character feature and then just exit right away you will be in the same spot and the boss will be back as well, bosses respawn instantly now.

I'm only at the beginning of the video and just wanted to say that hu tao's flowers are enough pyro app for mualani to vape. In the case of a low invested account like this one i think it is relevant to put hu tao in mualani's team at least for early farm where you don't have many other options. (This is probably poorly phrased, english is not my first language but you get the idea)

Then started to realize that not all the players do their research about mechanism in the game or properly prioritize their resources, which is something EXTREMMLY important in Genshin

I'm really feel the lack of endgame contents and difficulty of the abyss and IT as _casual_ player, even the current co-op events felt so borish bacause how easy it is, but in other hands there is some people who doesnt really care about the difficult stuff and just wanna enjoy the story.
On the mua talents I say do whatever tf u want. Her NA is actually fun + it does 10k~20k per hit
f2p here and i have 13/14 five star characters on a recently moved to ar 56 account. My luck of pulling 5 stars increased alot since i pulled kazuha.. have him at c1 right now and would never stop maining him.
started playing on and off since sumeru, fontaine and natlan released so i mainly have 5 stars from inazuma and before, and i really like exploring instead of doing fomains and farming to build so i have none of them ascended from 80 and most of my 5 stars are stuck at 50/60 or even 20 like yae, albedo, tighnari, zhongli, qiqi ( on level 1), diluc, dehya, kokomi except for kazuha, ayaka, raiden, eula and mona basically

My account is similar and made in late December 2021. I'm still only AR 56 with 10 5 stars but I have been grinding but getting unlucky with my artifact substats.

This is why i also quit genshin before cause I didn’t know how to build and was only there for the storyline good thing i have diluc, ayaka, wanderer and kokomi carrying me up to ar 55. That’s my lesson learned if you want an easy life while playing genshin make sure to at least build 3-4 characters at ar45 but I think good part of it is that now I have mualani and kinich who are one of theeee most easiest to build characters in the game specially Kinnich!!! And if ur already at the same situation as this player dw u can still catch up! But always make sure to only use your exp books on characters you would really build fully cause using it everywhere is a waste and just furthers your misery

Im kinda curious about those type of players, like i get they are casual but in that case they don't level up characters nor weapons, don't do a lot of exploration, don't have exp books nor stack pile of anything. Do they play the game ? what do they spend resin on ? are they just doing main question and that's it ? In 3 years with everything the game provide even if you just play ultra casual you can have ressources. i just geniualy wonders what they do because that's not 3 years of casual playing
20:26 4pc obsidian codex already gives %40 crit rate when she uses night soul points by her E so %20 cr is pretty enought for a natlan character thats using obsidian i mean its %60 crit rate in total

I think it's better to have one thing that does what it's supposed to, instead of one that works 60% of the time and a couple more collecting dust.
If you have a low crit rate and don't do many attacks, you really want that crit hit to generate particles.

I’m newbie, your videos are really details but I have some problem with farming artifacts, how to solve this problems help me everyone
It would be best to join a Discord like the one for this channel or any other Genshin related Discord to get individualised help and be able to ask questions live. You'll usually want to post which character or team you like to play, and ask how to level them up properly, and get answers from other players.
The artifact system is designed to give players anxiety (to tempt people into resin refreshing), so it is unnecessarily complex and not able to be answered in a single RUclips comment for all cases.
As a veteran player I can try to give some long winded general advice 😅
How newbie are you? If you’re pre AR 45 artifact domains aren’t guaranteed to give 5* drops. Pre AR 40, they won’t give gold at all. While still annoying with drop number RNG, spending resin on raising character levels, weapon levels, and talent levels are all guaranteed ways to make your characters stronger that you can focus on. Just don’t try to build everyone at once 😬
Once you get to that AR 40-45 range you can start focusing more on artifacts. To physically complete domains faster you can always do co-op random match or put something like “please help me farm” in your signature to fish in a -bored- compassionate high AR player to join your world.
As for how to build, I’d recommend individual character guides! Keqing Mains is a great source of you don’t mind reading and there’s plenty of video guides across RUclips that will give recommendations on weapons, stats, teams, and what talents to prioritize or even leave completely unleveled. It’s important to know what stats a character scales with or if they require high Energy Recharge from being burst reliant for proper builds. It’s also advisable to just keep ER and Elemental Mastery (not the same as elemental damage, as I learned the hard way in my time as a baby player misunderstanding how to build Ningguang lol) main stat pieces on any set regardless of sub stats due to their broad value and rarity. Also good to keep a stash of specifically Instructor & Exile 4* pieces for this reason.
If you want a general answer without looking up stuff, generally Fontaine’s Hunter/Troupe, Sumeru’s Deepwood/Gilded, and Natlan’s Codex/Scroll (primarily if you have characters from the region, tho has a chance of more broad value with pyro archon release if she takes after Furina), are the highest value to physically farm in, while Emblem, Viridescent Venerer, and situationally Noblesse and Tenacity have the most value to strongbox followed by individual elemental DPS sets like Crimson and Blizzard.
Your primary goal is acquiring relevant *main* stats to the character over set bonuses and substats which are secondary. Crit substat pieces are nice, but don’t slap them on a character if the main stat doesn’t align and don’t throw things away purely from lack of crit rolls when other stats are still quite relevant!
And the only time you want to force a 4pc set is on a support to give a team wide buff, being specifically:
Res Shred sets:
-Deepwood shreds dendro resistance, doesn’t need to be held by dendro character since it triggers off skill and burst hits
-Viridescent for shredding cryo/pyro/electro/hydro resistance, needs to be triggered by swirl so it requires being held by anemo characters
And stat buffing sets:
-Scroll for damage buffing when you want to buff reactions related to the holder’s elemental type, best held by Natlan characters
-Instructor for teams who want EM buff, just needs any reaction to trigger
-Noblesse for attack buff triggered by clicking burst (not refreshed on multiple burst hits like Ganyu’s burst sadly)
-Tenacity for attack buff based on instances of skill, best used on off-field skill damage supports
-Exile not direct ER stat buff, but gives energy to other teammates after clicking burst (worse version of Prototype Amber catalyst which works on user too and also heals)
-HP and DEF specific scalers are paid dust lol
-There is another niche damage buff set from Fontaine based on healing but it’s not in strongbox yet
Generally there’s time limits on buff uptime and refresh rate that are important to read in the artifact 4pc set description to keep in mind for knowing when to optimally use them in a fight. Also typically only one instance of each buff/shred set will work at a time, so you won’t want 2 Noblesse users at a time in a team for example but you can do both a Noblesse and a Tenacity user in the same team. This is more niche information, but some characters gain access to using these support sets with constellations, like Kirara being able to better use Deepwood at C4 and Faruzan gaining Tenacity as arguably her best set at C6.
In all other cases, remember that artifact set bonuses are also just stats! It’s totally ok to do 2pc 2pc or even rainbow sets if it means you’re getting more relevant stats, the artifact grind is long and you can always min max things later once you’re at a solid baseline. I’d say that baseline is the initial stopping point for artifacts is level 16 across the board of characters you want to use and after that push to level 20 since the required exp for that is much higher.
As for who to build, it’s up to you! Every character is useable it just may take more time for some to reach end game level than others. Similarly if you hate a character to death as I certainly passionately do, don’t feel obligated to build them just because they are strong. I haven’t touched lazy bum, trash personality, manipulative rat, ugly ass back alley haircut in the pitch black Xingqiu for years and have been able to consistently max star all endgame content to the highest level just fine and that’s WITHOUT having Neuvillette, Furina, Kokomi, Yelan, Nilou, Mualani, and Sigewinne on my account! 😤 …Anyway point is don’t play a character if they will ruin your enjoyment of the game by existing because at the end of the day, the point of playing the game is said enjoyment.
I would advise picking out just a couple ride or die favorite on field damage units that _you enjoy playing_ to build and look at character guides for them to see what supports/team archetypes are recommended and build those units too. Generally supports and off field damage dealers have a lot more longevity than on field damage dealers by their versatility in what teams they can be used in, so you want more of these more versatile units built than the characters that rely on them.
I don't understand, these are accounts that have no time investment, if youre not coming to genshin everyday to spend resin and do dailies then whats the point of fixing these accounts?

tbh this account is not needing fixing per say, this person just needs to play the game more, do some exploration maybe, watch couple of videos on characters they most interested in to see where to move on from now on. if they rarely played in those 3 years i doubt that any account fixing will help this player to understand the game they barely played
