    As genuine pitches they don't really help anything but as fan fiction that acknowledges that fact I can see the fun in

    Thank you!
    I'm so sick of how whenever a new Sentai is announced, people on forums won't shut the hell up about how they think it'll be adapted. I just think it's time to stop the adaptations in general, power rangers is, as you said, very much a relic of the 90's.

      Tbh I do enjoy some of that speculation when it comes to Power Ranger, because it's a well established franchise and at this point it's safe to assume some element of every Sentai will make it into PR so it can be fun to guess at what they'll do in a general sense, but I will agree with you that some folks get way too into it. I hate when folks act like Saban or Hasbro are idiots for going with what their market research says they should do and not xXRangerRick42069Xx's fan pitch. Though as I said in the video, Rider is a whole different can of beans and people need to treat it that way imo.

      Well congrats. Your wish is granted. Power Ranger is dead.

    Agreed it just needs the anime treatment which thankfully Toei is starting to do I'm HOPING we get Wizard on Blu Ray soon

      Oh man, I would be first in line for any kind of Wizard physical release.

    Thomas jujube has made the Rider potential videos but that's all they are is just hypothetical videos of how this might go or that goes. And yeah almost had it when Zero-one aired TV Asesehi or whatever there name is simulcasted the first episode until they locked it behind a VPN wall

      I totally forgot about that Zero One thing lol

    I've got my tickets for Shin Kamen Rider and have five friends confirmed showing up too and counting! Let's make the theaters are full and engage with Toei to see the results. I disagree that releasing Sentai is a conflict of interest as I believe when it comes to America they have a different audience.

    • @TheVacuuminator
      @TheVacuuminator  Год назад +1

      That's awesome to hear! I hope you and you're friends have a great time seeing Shin.

    We should focus can getting more kamen rider anime (adapting the kuuga manga, black manga,etc) and more reimagining of seasons, and American comics like the Zero-One comic.
    I mostly want to see an adaptation to see what they can do/have it can failed.
    Let's left American adaptation for fan projects like fan comic or fan animation

    • @TheVacuuminator

      Can't say I'm into that, because for me a huge part of Tokusatsu's appeal is that it's real stunt performers doing the action and seeing the ways they come up with making seemingly crazy stuff happen, but I also know a lot of people got drawn in by the Garo and Ultraman animes so to each their own.

    • @rayhayes7701
      @rayhayes7701 Год назад +1

      I don't think that's going to be a thing. We will be lucky if we get a season 2 of Fuuto P.I

    The first dub English of Ultraman this year? I thought its already there a long time ago???
    And for kamen rider... They don't sell CDs, never once. I don't get why-

    • @TheVacuuminator
      @TheVacuuminator  Год назад +2

      I didn't say it was the first dub, I said it will be the first simulcasted dub, meaning it will come out at the same time as the Japanese release, like a lot of anime does these days.

    Why they can't simulcast Rider, simple - TV Asahi owns 1/3 of Rider. And another one: Toei's primary focus, in regards to live action, is Asia and Latin America; whole North America and Europe are the secondary focus.

    I think adapting can be done. Just that it won't be the same show.

    • @TheVacuuminator
      @TheVacuuminator  Год назад

      That's probably true, but at this point there's just no need for it unless you have Saban level greed

    Okay, what I'm about to say is going to sound like an insult, but I don't mean it to be;
    I think your issue stems from a lack of imagination, and a misunderstanding of how things work.
    Frankly, a subbed or dubbed show is *never* going to have the same level of popularity in the West as a show made in English, for a Western audience. Because, however unfair it is, the media companies with the most money, influence and power are English-speaking companies.
    No, nowdays, an SS/PR style adaptation wouldnt work for Kamen Rider. But a ground-up, English-language remake would. And I don't think it's unreasonable for fans to want or imagine that.
