I really wish we saw some of the SD2 mechanics of "war weary" divisions. It would be nice considering these troops are experienced and should have better availability/veterancy than the other airborne div, but that comes with cost of increased suppression. Lol time to listen to Kino - Gruppa Krovi
Definitely the nost interesting division. Recon ZSU, rocket pods on everything and cheap helis. Itbwill slaughter any division that doesnt have tanks and decent AA to counter it I think. Should be fun to see in action!
Looks for sure interesting. I'm a bit concerned about the small sapery teams. And the lack of a good AA-plane. I think the 101st is stronger but this one has some very big strengths and could be a good counterpick (maybe against 101st).

Рекон отличный, все что надо есть ПВО - откровенно слабое, и если в 35 это исправлялось 6хСиГ-29, то тут печально всё. Вертолеты более менее неплохие Автация, слабые АА, а так норм.
I am surprised every time how the Eugene are sloppy about their work. Eugene cannot independently figure out Russian units in the presence of a huge community of Russian players Warno. 1) Airborne brigade without airborne trait; 2) Instead of interesting prototypes, they added a guntrack meme that is now we being used as a monument. These things were made in a single copy and used as artillery. 3) In the 56th brigade, the main vehicles were BMP-2, BTR 70-80 and helicopters. 4) A huge number of special forces units (reconnaissance battalion 783) and attack aircraft (su 17, 24, 25) should be added.
dont see the potential in this one, but the mortars will be funny. doesnt seem like a worthwile pick when theres other options, especially with how meh the infantry is looking.
So they gave SAS 8men squad with 4 (or six?) stinger which is exceptional for wiping out everything but high-end tanks to bluefore. For the redfor they made 4men squad with 0.16he and 3 stingers. Wow, what a present, thank you so much. Weak meme-division it is, compared to new american one.
@@paulkort4445 sas also cost nearly double and have normal optics. This division is quite potent esp compared to 101dt as it has bmps, tanks and lots of air and helo assets to help out. Give it a go before you cry about it's strength level
@@sd_league you're half right, they do really have interestsing stuff. Thing is this div is going to get bombed into oblibion since it has too weak anty-air. As for GRU - I'd agreed if they were 8men and priced accorddingly. Just a support unit, no more. I guess problem comes from my expectations. This hald-vdv div is like a... worse infantry division with somewhat good anty-infantry capabilities and that being the only their strengh.
The SAS are the only good thing going for the 1st apart from the Lynx rockets (Which even then only has like 38? rockets?). They deserve at least one good unit.
I think it will actually be the stronger of the 2 divisions, having strong Inf + Bmp2 and Rocket APCs, good helos, workable tanks and really strong recon.

I dont know, I feel like the high amount of assault infantry + the rocket apcs could allow for a pretty good urban attack division
