      Not always that mentality is bad, he says that he spent 20$, I don't think you can buy 6 lithium battery's for 1$ a piece, maybe used. Also I think that the prices are without shipping. He put some time in making this as well.
      For the price you can get a similar flash light from china without the effort of waiting for each part to be shipped. Videos like this are for learning and entertainment.

    Nice! But one problem you may have is overheating....I converted some old Ryobi one 18v flashlights with incandescent bulbs to use 12V MR16 LED Tract light bulbs. The bulb are designed to operate between 12 and 24v so work well with up the 21 volts you get out of 18v lithium tool batteries. However being sealed up in the flashlight the bulb did burnout after 45 minutes of continuous use and I had to drill some ventilation holes in the housing to a void ruining another bulb. Vent hole would unwaterproof your light. So you may want to just avoid running the light continuously for long periods.

      @dangligor2745 3 года назад

      Long ago have one gel pb battery flashlight. You need to keep it charget all the time when you not used and not discharget to blank, because the life of battery become short. After you used till full discharged need to recharge it in very short time because if you do not, start forming cristals of sulfuricPb who reduce capacity and after some time short circuit elements, battery become uselles. LiIon battery is more versatile, more recharging cicles and can survive to empty dry, more than pb battery. You need a flash Light dependable, for long usage and easy to maintain.

      Actually "小屁孩" or "小P孩" should be translated as "little villain". But how to translate a brand name is the brand owner's right. And "Small Fart Child" is at least a "word to word" translation. And Small Fart Child is in fact quite a small brand in motorbike lighting equipment. But "Chaegeer" is definitely an unacceptable low-level mistake. Unfortunately, this is too common in low cost Chinese products and too often it has mistakenly lead people to associate these mistakes with low-quality.

      @@gear_show Good work! You consider some impruvements? On the edge you have some leds you can use for signaling. You put 2 leds bicolor and add a simple voltmeter to show status of battery for one led and status of charging for another one. This is handy when you charge the flashlight from another source, say car lighter or solar panell. Status of battery is handy when Main power is off and need to use for days.

    Old light bulb consumptions 0,5A on voltage 4,5V which means that filament resistance is 9 Ohms. If we apply 6 volts to 9-ohm filament, it's current will increase to 0,65A and wattage is 4 watts. Light bulb with overlimited current will shine brighter with lower lifetime. Automobile lamps Osram Nightbreaker and Philips Racingvision are working with overlimited current like this flashlight before remodeling.
