      Mister Knight Owl & Co. funny, I scrolled through the acoustic stuff last night and thought the same thing ! I’m a better player, even after playing for 35 years, because of this dude. Outstanding always.

    Thank you James. Glad you came back because you are so talented. I’ve already learned two songs and am starting a few more.
    I had no idea who Guess Who was but I bought their 8 track tape in the 70s for my Datsun 510 1973 two door butterscotch. Didn’t know Randy Bachman also was in BTO.

    First rock'n'roll show I ever saw. (They were celebrating the invention of fire I think ... I was 10 years old anyway.)
    ... And that song was my highlight of the evening IMO. 'Picked up the electric broom the next day LOL.

      ImpossibleNunavutUnlikelyIqaluit - I think I saw that ‘celebrating...fire’ tour too! ..kicked my head into gear all right. Couldn’t afford an electric broom; I started out on an acoustic tennis racket-rock on!

    I play without the capo. It sounds more rock to me that way. I play the second part keys on guitar as well. I turned into the rocker it deserves to be. This cool too.

    Trivia question:
    Who replaced Randy Bachman in the Guess Who?

    • @honour123
      @honour123 5 лет назад

      Response:No one. The band broke up. They did however play reunion gigs but never recorded again.

    • @jeffdelaney8934
      @jeffdelaney8934 5 лет назад +1

      @ WoodstockKenny and honour 123- They NEVER broke up after he left. Kurt Winter and Greg Leskiw replaced Randy Bachman. They had many hits with this lineup starting with Hand Me Down World, Share The Land, Hang On To Your Life, Albert Flasher etc. And albums including Share The Land, So long Banatyne,Rockin' , Live At The Paramount etc. Other guitarists included Donnie McDougall and Domenic Troiano - considered by many Canadians to be the greatest Canadian guitarist of all time - however, not well known outside of the country. They charted many singles and albums after Bachman left in 1970 right after American Woman. Kurt Winter was my favourite guitar player in the band and many people are surprised that he was the guitar player on so many songs they assumed was Bachman. The first time I saw this lineup was at an all Canadian festival in the summer of 1970 in Toronto. They deservedly closed the show - it was the first time I realized one of the greatest rock bands on the planet was Canadian with twin lead guitar players. They towered above all the other bands on the bill that day.

    What up Mr JJ? So I got a tip for yah, I switched to the Paige Capo from those Kyser clamp style, Man they really work great and you have very little if any tuning issues with them, Those Kysers suck because they put so much downforce on the string that they bend them out of tune bad. The Paige is fantastic, I see you have a different one on in this viddy, but just thought I might share the good experience I have had switching to the Paige
