If you watch this channel long enough, you will learn how to play any song you could possibly want. It's awesome.
Mister Knight Owl & Co. funny, I scrolled through the acoustic stuff last night and thought the same thing ! I’m a better player, even after playing for 35 years, because of this dude. Outstanding always.
i know right,,every time I look up one of my favorite songs to learn he has it...you are awesome James!!
I agree a 1,000%
Saw Guess Who live a couple of years ago. They played this masterpiece.
One of those songs that is pretty simple but just super fun to play and always makes you turn it up when it’s on
JJ your eclectic taste in music never ceases to amaze me. Keep the classics coming mate, I am loving the tutorials. Cheers!
trudat
Amazing how James hits every and any song classic or not anyone would want to learn..Phenomenal. Thanks for your time and care.
absolutely beyond belief === INCREDIBLE !!!
James James to the rescue when I need a song lesson. Has 80% of all the songs I look up.
This guy is awesome.
Thanks for the Canadian content! Much appreciated as always:)
Thank you so much for teaching us rhythm! You are an amazing teacher. Can’t thank you enough!!
Always loved the vocal melody on this one. That hook... genius.
Your one of my favorites. Love your vids and your a great player I've learned a lot of tunes from you. You play so many great tunes and this is just another one! Thanx once again Bro! Hey all keep'm going.
This might be the greatest guitar lesson I’ve seen on RUclips so easy to follow
Great song, grew up with it...thank you for more lessons that I have used...gracias
One of the best tracks of all time. Thank you Sir!
One of the best tunes ever...
A great song and terrific lesson. Clever how they tied the songs together with the D chord hammer on.
Love this lesson! More 60s and 70s tunes please! Thank you. :-)
Great memories listening to this! Thanks JJ!
Thank you James. Glad you came back because you are so talented. I’ve already learned two songs and am starting a few more.
I had no idea who Guess Who was but I bought their 8 track tape in the 70s for my Datsun 510 1973 two door butterscotch. Didn’t know Randy Bachman also was in BTO.
I love this song and I really appreciate this awesome tutorial. This is the type of thing that makes RUclips GREAT. Thank you so much for making/sharing this!
I really enjoyed this. Thanks for posting!
Willie Stargell, Roberto Clemente, Manny Sanguillen.... a real baseball team.
First rock'n'roll show I ever saw. (They were celebrating the invention of fire I think ... I was 10 years old anyway.)
... And that song was my highlight of the evening IMO. 'Picked up the electric broom the next day LOL.
ImpossibleNunavutUnlikelyIqaluit - I think I saw that ‘celebrating...fire’ tour too! ..kicked my head into gear all right. Couldn’t afford an electric broom; I started out on an acoustic tennis racket-rock on!
I just learned this great canadian song a few weeks ago thanks to your handy videos!
Great song. Thanks JJ!!!!!
Here you are - always to the rescue. Thanks!
Very cool !!! I hadn’t heard this song decades. Great song lots of fun.
Man, great library of songs this is a classic need to do a lesson
Great job James. Thanks for the lesson.

I agree that this is both a CLASSIC and UNDER APPRECIATED! Great explanation!
Great method of instruction. Just playing to the record- easy to see easy to figure out. Thanks
That is a beautify guitar. And an awesome lesson. Thank you for spending time sharing great music.
That J-200 is ridiculous!!!! Love it!!!
I’ve liked this song for a long time. Thx for the lesson. Also like These Eyes.
Awesome
As always you do very good tutorials! Thanks!
Talented guy
GROOVY! Nice track, cheers mate
the start of the quick strumming - on the D chord - reminds me of ' tangled up in blue '
This channel needs more subscribers! Thanks for the great lesson.
What a great job dead on an I agree we need more 60s and 70s song on hear. Man truly a good job
l will have it learnt now.

Good song and lesson thanks
"Let's Go Bucs! Arrrrr!"
I learned and picked up lots from James, but I also play Classical. My era is the 60s, I was a teen at that time.
UNICO BRAVO E GENIOO OK GRAZIEEE
Your the best dude
Superb
No Maples Leaf's jersey for this one? lol Great song choice!
Nice job man
excellent😅
great lesson, thanks
Let's Go Bucs!
Totally bad ass
Great rhythm, great inspiration, Thank James.
I play without the capo. It sounds more rock to me that way. I play the second part keys on guitar as well. I turned into the rocker it deserves to be. This cool too.
"Let's Go Bucs!"
Thinks again.
Great lesson!
Trivia question:
Who replaced Randy Bachman in the Guess Who?
Response:No one. The band broke up. They did however play reunion gigs but never recorded again.
@ WoodstockKenny and honour 123- They NEVER broke up after he left. Kurt Winter and Greg Leskiw replaced Randy Bachman. They had many hits with this lineup starting with Hand Me Down World, Share The Land, Hang On To Your Life, Albert Flasher etc. And albums including Share The Land, So long Banatyne,Rockin' , Live At The Paramount etc. Other guitarists included Donnie McDougall and Domenic Troiano - considered by many Canadians to be the greatest Canadian guitarist of all time - however, not well known outside of the country. They charted many singles and albums after Bachman left in 1970 right after American Woman. Kurt Winter was my favourite guitar player in the band and many people are surprised that he was the guitar player on so many songs they assumed was Bachman. The first time I saw this lineup was at an all Canadian festival in the summer of 1970 in Toronto. They deservedly closed the show - it was the first time I realized one of the greatest rock bands on the planet was Canadian with twin lead guitar players. They towered above all the other bands on the bill that day.
👍🏻🎸🇺🇸
What up Mr JJ? So I got a tip for yah, I switched to the Paige Capo from those Kyser clamp style, Man they really work great and you have very little if any tuning issues with them, Those Kysers suck because they put so much downforce on the string that they bend them out of tune bad. The Paige is fantastic, I see you have a different one on in this viddy, but just thought I might share the good experience I have had switching to the Paige
Just a great classic for the acoustic, and brilliantly done as always, JJ. Are you holding your pick with three fingers? Does this give you more a floating wrist feeling? Thanks!
flh ....the egg method helps with strumming a tonne
GO BUCS
Was your guitar in standard when you put the capo on?
I asked Bill Murray that ... and he said ... "It just doesn't matter"
where's the dancing girl?
