    pretty cool! I love the w211 and am looking for a CDI to daily

      I was looking for a cdi or an e500. The cdi is just so rare. As soon as I bought my 500 a super clean cdi popped up for $4.5k lol

      The one I originally saw is gone. But in cotton wood there's a super high Mileage one for $4.5k. but you can tell it was super well maintained

    If you really want to feel this V8 wake up like you've never seen before, get a SprintBooster V3 in it, night and day difference!

      I don't really like sprint boosters. I prefer getting a real ECU tune and adding power. A sprint booster doesn't actually make it faster.

      @@ibbryant17 Correct, it does eliminate the throttle delay on these cars though, significantly. Feels way more direct and the trans shifts much better (I wasn't expecting that), it's not like the cheap pedal stuff that just shortens the travel to WOT. Consider!
      I had mine ECU flash tuned but it didn't make any noticeable difference, it almost isn't worth it unless you get it done on dyno. These are hard to mod, I put AEM air filters and an AMG exhaust, not sure what else performance wise. You mentioned a supercharger kit but the only ones I found cost 10 grand, might as well get an E55 at that point? Let me know what you think :D

      I don't think I'll ever buy a sprint booster if an ECU tune is available. I'll be getting my car tuned by race IQ. The mod I have planned of a set of 2.75 inch long tubes with a full 2.75 inch catback. I'm going to do a conversion to use the stock E55 supercharger on the E500. The 5.0 might be better for boost due to the better Compression ratio. The 55k is 9:1 but the 5.0 is 10:1. I've been doing research on this for a while. I'll also be getting a trans tune. I don't like patch job parts like sprint boosters. And I have a local place that can dyno tune my car if I want but it won't be necessary until I'm supercharged and running e85

      @@ibbryant17 That sounds like an awesome plan for the E500, not many in the W211 community have gone that route! I've seen a guy Turbo charge the E500 and push 600hp at the crank on 11psi which is crazy. TCU tune is a must for sure, I hope to see more videos from you even if its misc repairs :D

      It will be a long term project to add the supercharger. But I'll let you in on a little secret my RUclips subs don't know about yet. I already have the headers and AMG catback I'm just waiting on a couple things from fcp euro to come in. Early next month I should be making an install video
