Is a tune needed or o2 spacers for cel?

I've heard some people use o2 spacers but it's hit or miss. I always prefer a tune because you get rid of the cel and get some HP gains

My car didn't have steering wheel controls but you can definitely get them to work if you do. There's additional interface boxes you can get. And no I didn't have to bypass anything

There's no performance difference between the base 500 and the sport so you're in good luck. I have a video on doing long tube headers and they made a good difference. Especially when I added my tune. Sub to my page I'm far from done with this 500

VRP for parts and RaceiQ for Ecu + TCU tuning, long tubes are easy to find but you’ll probably have to straight pipe it to make it louder of course

@@ibbryant17 I finally got the door speakers in today. I had to cut the back off the factory insert. If I had gotten the rings they would have dropped right in but I went on the information from eBay. Thanks for uploading the video. 8)

Hey man sorry just seeing this. If you're not looking for maximum performance keeping the factory cats is a must for no cel. If you delete the cats you can try an O2 sensor spacer or just tune out the cel like I did.

Thanks man, also of the build up is extensive it would probably help otherwise it's fine. Make sure your spark plugs are good and gapped properly the ltg is sensitive to plugs

Thanks for responding. Do you know what wiring harness? I assume if I buy wiring harness I simply plug that into cars factory harness then to the back of the new head unit?

You have to wire it yourself but it's very easy. Get an adapter harness for an accord in your cars year. The head unit will come with it's own plug. Then all you gotta do is match the colors and it'll work

I'm working on it lol. I gotta save up and get some mods/maintenance parts together. Stay tuned tho I'ma do some real cool stuff in the future

I have the wires up out of the way and I'm tuned now so they are indeed coded out

Also, don't forget to delete secondary air - it opens up a bunch of room on the top front of the motor with the pump and those two valves out of the way.

Yo sorry for the late response. I went with moog control arms and I can't remember the crand of wheel hubs I went with. I did replace my end links a while back with autozone generic. I still have to do my inner and outer tie rods

Yeah it works fine. I do recommend getting a better radiator than the absolute cheapest one like I got just so you can have better build quality.

I just matched the colors and everything worked. Make sure you have good connections

I'll probably stick to this intake since no intake is a restriction. Even built motor big turbo doesn't need an aftermarket intake.

⁠@@ibbryant17no, your correct even the factory box flows more then enough air. But I would disagree once you start Changing out the turbo better smoother flow helps. Even a stock frame turbo like 20g uhf from turbos r us, flows over 50lbs a min. I only know of one guy that has over 600hp ats and his is a pile. But no, generally the stock air box is more then enough. Oh fyi when you took your air box out you were looking for where the air came in and said it’s blocked off. There is a small piece of foam you can take it off and it opens air flow up much more.

I ripped that piece of foam out. I wanted to give the intake the best shot possible.

Hey I'm just seeing this. Sadly the e55 AMG exhaust won't fit your s500 but you can definitely get headers for an s class and put them on your car with some slight modifications

But you can get a s55 amg exhaust or s63 exhaust and it’ll fit , it really comes down to welding it on there

I completely forgot to respond to this. The s500 and e500 share an engine but the shape of the exhaust is completely different. If youre just looked for more noise go for either a muffler delete or s55/63 AMG muffler's. If you want performance get s55 AMG headers and have a custom exhaust made or find an s55 catback exhaust

​@@ibbryant17hey I'm having problems starting my engine with the key in the ignition. I made a mistake and did an oil change with the 10w 30 oil synthetic oil instead of regular because my dad told me it would last longer since I drive 5-6 hours a day doing Uber Eats. My check engine light is on and sometimes I got to charge up the alternator by pressuring the gas and holding the key in the ignition. Any suggestions?

@tiffanyacosta9716 the synthetic oil is fine I used it in my accord. Make sure your maintenance is up. Spark plugs being bad can cause a rough start and if your cap and rotor are worn on your distributor. Small things like that. Or even if your battery is old and worn. Before assuming the worst make sure simple stuff like that is okay first

@@ibbryant17 on Monday my car wouldn't turn on even with the booster so we called aaa to tow it to the mechanic and when the aaa guy unloaded the car we put the key in the engine turned on we were all surprised. The first mechanic said I need to buy the main relay which he was tryna charge me $100 we thought that was expensive, I went to a second mechanic he said it's the catalyst system efficiency below threshold and I asked him how much that would cost to replace he said thousands of dollars so I went to the original mechanic who sold me the car he just reset something and my check engine went off and gave me cataclean liquid to put with the gas change. I use regular gas. The battery and engine is brand new according to my mechanic he changed it July 7th. Is it safe for me to drive tomorrow for 30 miles?

There's more than just ZZP. You just have to look around

I've heard that ZZP is good for parts. But go with Tracy Lewis for a catch can and avoid ZZP for tunes.

I'm gonna get a ZZP tune to see how they really are. I think alot of people get the base tune and never get revisions made even tho ZZP highly suggests getting revisions to iron out the tune

@@ibbryant17 I was considering doing a full remote tune until I heard that a ZZP tune can make your engine blow. So now I'm considering Vermont tuning based on some ATS facebook groups that I am in. Let me know how the ZZP tune works out for you!

It will work on a 01. I recommend the metra dash kit and any adapter harness you find for a 01 accord.
