- Join Omni Garage as we test Ryobi’s 36V HP Brushless 730CFM Blower.
The tool is powered by a Brushless HP motor, has a variable speed trigger, cruise control lever and turbo boost button, and features Ryobi's Whisper technology for quiet performance.
When the turbo mode is engaged, it delivers 730CFM of air volume which we've found more than ample for drying vehicles, even those lacking a ceramic coating. The detachable rubber tip is also extremely handy to protect the hard plastic of the tool coming into contact with the surface of your paint.

I bought it today at Bunnings in Melbourne for 600 AUD and i'm so happy with this blower.
I mostly bought it to dry cars as i'm a car detailer.
I was looking for Big Boi and MetroVac they good but with the hoses and cables around just to messy.
This is a bit big but does a really good job it dryes the car real quick.
I would maybe need another battery just in case, not sure how much they are but would see.
Yeah this is fantastic for drying cars.
I’ve been waiting patiently for this vid... I recently purchased this blower from Bunnings... upgrading from my old 36v blower that’s over 5 years old. This new one is AHHH..MAZING!. I used it today to blow the lawn clippings off my driveway.
NOW...I need to point out some important info. As I have the 2.5amp batteries... I can’t use the boost button on my new blower... it’s just cuts out. So I squeeze the trigger again and it blows, but the moment I push the boost button, the blower cuts out. I’m just assuming it’s because I have the old 2.5amp batteries. I will eventually buy some 6amp batteries.
This isn’t a real big issue for me, because even without the boost button, this blower has more wind than my petrol blower and that was a beast. I was sick of mixing the fuel with oil then pouring it into the blower and trying to start it, and it was loud and leaking fuel everywhere.
That’s why I upgraded to this blower and not one regret. Absolutely love this machine. No more petrol blowers needed.... UNLESS you’re on a huge block of land that needs a blower for more than 20mins.
Yeah I love this new blower. Upgrade your batteries to bigger ones and it will be fantastic!
Thankyou for this excellent review
Glad it was helpful!
I know you guys were running the bigger, heavier battery on it but, would you recommend it over the Ego? I have no hands on experience with the Ryobi but, that thing looks massive compared to the Ego. Reasons I'm considering the Ryobi are because I already own 4Ah batteries and because it's said to be not as loud as the Ego. Please share your thoughts. Thanks
Can you buy a blower wall mount unit? Look like it has a slot for one, can’t find anything online. Regards.
Not that I am aware of. The bottom part is like feet so that it can lie flat on the ground and not fall over.
hows the suction power from intake? I'm thinking using it as a portable dust extractor
No.
Why are we using cubic feet.... Wtf NZ and Australia. We already have a unit for volume, it's called the litre.
🤷♂️
Decent
Ego 765 pack is 870 dollars that's expesive
Qui achète un souffleur pour sécher sa voiture? On vie dans un monde bien étrange.
It’s the same concept as taking your car to automated car wash. The big blowers dry your car at the end.
