I mean, Trinity seven's magic system is actually like it; everything is possible with magic, however, it builds up something else: Research. Magus research their magic no matter the cost. Even if they have to destroy the Universe. Also, the enemies are Eldrich monsters beyond the concepts of the magic.
What I like about anime balls deep is that they are not to afraid to call out what’s cap. Despite hyping the series up like a shonen fan. As much I want to like black clover the manga has been gradually becoming less intense due to constant power ups and called out moments. I hope the editors situation gets resolved as fast as possible. Because it’s getting to a point where it’s not worth convincing myself on supporting the manga.

Eventually the threat will become so strong that killing them outside of OPing them wouldn't make sense. Lucifer was catching astas sword with his hand and controls gravity itself. What sense would it make for the story to go "we can strat our way into cutting this thing which could not be cut!" The only way to stop this is to stay on a mountain destroying level and not make a world ending threat

The writer tries to introduce a villain and makes them to powerful to a point we’re tons of plot armor and power buffs come out all the time in the arcs and stories. Along with characters powers and abilities not being consistent with events.
The lost tension began when Gaja died, straight up died and after the fight “he was magically resurrected” which undercut the severity and sacrifice he made for the heart queen and the stakes became nonexistent. Death needs to have a place in all stories otherwise it’s just empty platitudes and weak proverbs

I just think it’s sad Tabatas art has reached his peak while his writing went in the complete opposite direction. Ever since the dark triad were taken out, there’s been no feeling of threat from the villains. Asta is just going to get stronger every time and one shot them. We need REAL STAKES

The only way I think tabata can redeem this is through adremelech. Instead of having poison magic like so many other people he might have something like illusion magic. And everything might just be an illusion and lucifero might actually do something. That “reality can be whatever we want” mightve been some aizen level foreshadowing .
One very disappointing thing about this arc were the other kingdoms. The heart kingdom was hyped up to have mages equal to clover kingdom captains with there more natural magic revolving around nature like gaja but were not introduced and was easily defeated off screen. The spade kingdom had more grunts than anything with no one to represent them besides yuno and the diamond kingdom was no where to be seen. While the clover kingdom has multiple wizard king level characters with op magic and plot armor.
Heart Kingdom is the most disappointing thing I've got from Black Clover....they hyped up the mages then they couldn't even defeat dark disciples....Gaja only managed to do something....but then lost the charm so quick This felt like they put the responsibility on Clover Kingdom's back and chilling out there with popcorn watching Lolfero fighting Clover mages
The problem with this series is anti magic in a series where everyone's power is essentially magic. So by default Asta has the most broken power to begin with. It's dfferent from someone like luffy where the vilains have much cooler powers and he has to be creative. How does one write a protagonist with a power that makes all the powers of the vilains not work?
Yeah along with what you said the entire world revolves around it. Though it is funny the only other anti-Magic user I remember at least is the one who tried to steal Yuno’s grimoire and no other anti-magic user since.

In essence that makes him god tier from the start and the I mean the series it always creating plot devises that explain why Asta doesn't just anti magic them from the start. See the problem starts when your plot serves to explain why you mc's world breaking powers dont work from the start. Because of the nature of his power i dont thing Asta even needs to be as gifted as the enemies he fight his sword just needs to make contact and then all their powers should stop working. In the earlier arcs you could see asta still struggling because not having any magic is still a big disadvantage, and he hadn't mastered his power yet. But I get now that he has alot more power, It's hard not to make him overpowered and maybe he could've beaten Lucifero in a more creative way. But with Lucifero's personality being the power superiority complex over everyone, In my opinion it would fit how he was deafeated by a simple overpowering by asta and liebe, who he considered the worst of the worst BECAUSE he has no magic. And the scene with asta and liebe understanding eachother was really nice too.
Now how crazy it would be that all this last had been an illusion created by the other demon the one that has just been sitting there watching. So at least we can have hope that when the actual lucifero shows up it won't be such an empty end of a fight.
Dante was more menacing than lucifero . The fact that my guy wanted to take out yami by himself and take gray and Vanessa by force is some balls shiet. He also took gauch out with out even thinking about it . He was literally playing with his food and seeing them suffer. Even tho he was a joke the dude really had me on the edge of my seat on how unkillable he was. If he was serious , smart in battle, and didn't underestimated his opponents he would of been a wayyyyy better villain in this arc then Zenon. Lucifero should of be the one simping for Dante
Our first major villain was Patri who was injured and fled away and came back and killed the wizard king hoping something like that happens with lucifero

Still sticking with the theory he was only the leader of the Devils because he was strong, with him out of the way the true villain or villains can finally do what they want.
The hierarchy of the devils is all about brawl, but with lucifer out of the picture, things will start to change. Megicula survive and now that the high ranking devils are aware of Asta's power, I hope they won't go easy on the main cast.

It easily could have been one of the greatest arcs in shounen. The fact that no one died doesn't bother me. It's how conveniently they were saved. If tabata didn't want to kill anyone he should have kept ALL the support mages with the main fighters. Mimosa should have been involved in the fight with Megicula. Combining twilight Valhalla with Her healing spell would've made more sense than just Nacht teleporting her at the literal last second. Or Nero or Grey having more presence in the fight and not making the audience wonder where tf they came from to heal anyone. I still read and hate this arc at the same time, Because up until this chapter it had soooo much potential. This chapter as a whole was a fatal mistake, for the entire series
It all began with the resurrection of Gaja. Zenon is the only villain I can take seriously in this arc. We at least know what makes him tick, his past, etc. Not only that, he was the only one who's actually a threat, he wiped half of the Golden Dawn. Then the similarities with Yuno and how their paths diverged made for a good story. What a shame.
I would love the death of zenon if Tabata face him against yuno around the theme of teamwork. Like in zenon flashback we saw that when zenon face difficulties, he won’t count to anyone else except him. Which is the main difference between yuno and him. Cause yuno, even the difficulties are really hard, he always managed to teamwork and win his opponents. So for me, that to give another power up to yuno, Tabata could have use Langris to help defeating zenon. And zenon could have learn in an alternative narration that “if he let Allen act, maybe they would still be together today”. Plus that, zenon could also learned that a power of devil doesn’t make yourself unbeatable (zenon kill a devil without a power of a devil). So… In conclusion, zenon is like the other villain he dead cause he wasn’t a hero and not because yuno was so powerful, or intelligent or anything else but not him. Zenon lost cause the plot wanted him to lost against yuno and nothing else.
Also when you realise that it's actually base heavily injured asta that could barely stand up the one that killed lucifero meanwhile when he was first introduced a weaker lucifero caught a completely uninjured astas blade. So basically not only did asta quadruple his power but his base was also affected by it and not just his base base but a on deaths door base and it was affected so much that we can say that this asta that's about to die is stronger than imperfect union asta because union asta could barely cut lucifero this one decapitated him
Base Asta could always decapitate lucifero. When Asta was in devil union, lucifero caught his blade and checked to see if it could hurt him. It could. lucifero enhances his body with gravity adding additional gravity force so he was able to stop astas sword by grabbing it. Fast forward and lucifero is cut in multiple halves trying to escape, and yuno teleports Asta to him instantly and he instantly gets cut. No time to stop that attack...
I think after this arc, tabata needs to bring back the original editor as he has ton’s of experience and he’s knows black clover from the beginning or he could bring back the editor who edit the elf arc as the story had depth and the characters words held weight
The ending to this fight was emotional for Asta/Liebe, but it lacked the intensity of other battles. I just have a bad feeling about it all. It looked like he took down Lucifero pretty damn easily. I feel like there's something more to it. Edit: Turns out it was Julius/Zogratis the whole time. Someone give me my beer already. 😎

I think depth will return to the story through a more worldwide perspective like how many chapters after the elves arc included the magic knight captains becoming aware of the damage that was actually done across the kingdom. I remember the Witch Queen needing Vanessa to train two witches because she’d need all hands on deck for the fight against the devils but that hasn’t been explored yet so maybe the real story starts now. I hope after the fight and everything has at least calmed down for a moment, we get to see the true lasting effects of the arc. It’s like how after a car crash, the passengers don’t know how injured they really are due to adrenaline. It’s like every character in the manga is running on adrenaline right now

If we look at the elf arc especially at lichts fight with yuno and asta. It slowed down just to pick up again after that. Also what consequences was there in the elf arc? Last I checked everyone lived. The main consequence of that arc was people started leaving clover kingdom to the spade kingdom to become devil users.
I don't mind the whole "will power" thing, but it needs to be used more intelligently rather than just handing the win to the MC. A good example is in HXH Gon vs Genthru, where gon took the full brunt of his bombs to get hits in and trap him.
Why is everyone forgetting that Asta's Devil anti magic, was basically created to kill all the devils no matter how powerful. Liebe's hatred was so strong that he created an absolute ability unable to be stopped by any type of magic. The Devil's are basically not compatible against Asta.
The only good points in the arc is nozel silver's past revealed,yuno's despair (gaining 2nd grimiorie), zenon was interesting 😢 , liebe and asta's relation👍
The same thing happened for dragonballz. The editor told Toriyama that 19 and 20 were bad villains a fat man and old guy were bad villains and the same for 17 and 18 they were just kids. Then Toriyama came up with cell.

Lmao deaths are irrelevant when it comes to the main cast all the Demons in underworld are useless no matter who they are in the face of Asta plot armor even with death door he will still somehow defeat the enemy, we already know who's gonna win every fight😶
I honestly don't see how the story would continue after this arc. The power scaling is just too ridiculous for anything to make sense afterwards. All these abilities from the main 3 characters are all basically wizard king level and endgame type of abilities.
I think it will but considering it wasnt announced this is the last arc. A new Wizard King is needed at this point cause Yami has to be Wizard King for it to make sense. I am ok with it ending though cause the days of long running Manga are over. I dropped One Piece a year ago even if it is good, cause I was annoyed with the weekly grind of keeping up. At this point I am going anime only if manga series drag on past chapter 400. I just think the days of 400+ chapter manga are gone cause even I as an older reader lack attention span to keep interest in the longest running manga. I am dragged down by MHA/Black Clover and was begging for Dr Stone to end cause at this point I am over the journey I just want to know how they end.
This is how a lot of past shonen have ended up and let me tell you, it is not a good path to go down. When the characters get this much plot armor, unexplained power ups and easy wins, the stakes become non existent and other characters become forgotten in the face of endless MC power ups and hyping. Its the death knell of a series
I actually agree, ever since Mimosa's line I haven't been able to look at the series the same again, which truly is a shame as at the beginning of this arc I was hyped as hell, but now at the conclusion I just feel like we gained nothing, we didn't learn anything, none of the characters found something new about themselves, and the villains never said anything new or engaging.

This is basically what I've been thinking since he showed up. Almost to a T. I have been pretty disappointed with the lack of death. Death really makes a good story, it helps reinforce that characters aren't invincible and sometimes your favorites might die
@@nathanevans1733 It’s because they say Asta’s anti magic zone kills all magic and in his new form he is the weapon along with his swords as well. However just like any series if your power is great enough it can counter another characters power regardless.
Personally I liked it, but would have enjoyed seeing more of a epic final battle. like maybe drag out Luci vs Yami and so on until Asta could rest then have asta have a much longer fight after a rest. Also love the videos ABD

I really hate the fact that Tabata's Manga is being thrown around badly... it was so good, but the fact remains that he has had so many Editor changes really puts my faith in Shounen Jump down the drain further because this is not it. If the anime returns and I hope it does, I rather the anime does something different for the Spade Kingdom arc that makes a lot more sense and adds that tension and epic moments that were suppose to be in the manga
I don't think it was about the devil union making Asta that much stronger than Lucifero but how Astas new magic zone made him weaker much like what Magna did with his own fight with Donta.
i was kinda hoping they would pull a berserk and have lucifero kill alot of people and maybe asta forcing the main cast to retreat and try to survive this new hell scape that he made, while slowly they get more powerful to defeat lucifero at the end

Man, Trashfero alone ruined Black Clover's image a disgrace. Black Clover ain't escaping this one. This only made Xianxia's and Wuxia's infamous entitled "Young Masters" looked better. I can only hope that Tabata has a way around for this mess.

Something about this arch feels like it’s a build up to a different one. Cuz this staff literally went from very creative and thought provoking characters to… this. This story started out with cliche and terrible characters and they wrote a way for us to love them. Maybe they doing it again? 🥴
I think that's why Tabata will take a 3 months break. Maybe he's gonna put his shit together during this time, since the next arc (or so the news said) will be the final arc!

Honestly seems like a safe movie plot arc. Cool action, dialogue and a happy ending. With no real stakes or big deaths. Feels like the first broly movie with dragon ball z but broly liked way more even tho he too has no personality.
Then another plot twist it's all as planned by Andremelech. Andremelech is the brain behind all of the Dark Triads actions, he is the one who tells Lucifero about the use of the Qlipoth Tree, and he is the one who tells Megicula about the other way of manifestation. Then Andremelech is also in contract with the 4th Socrates siblings. Just a guess 😅 In short Lucifero, Megicula and the other one were dancing in the palms of Andremelech.

Yo I haven’t read black clover because I didn’t know what chapter to start at after the anime so I read it through you, thank you, But on another note you taught me how to develop and make characters real and helped me come up with an idea for my very first manga
The only way it can be saved is that adremallech has some kind of illusion powers and creates an illusion of lucifero. Adremallech is actually there to revive lucifero who’s heart is in Yami. This aside this arc was fine uptil zenon as well. Too many holes in the story

This whole arc reminds me a lot of the Key of the Starry Sky arc from Fairy Tail. The build up was phenominal there was all this fantastic writing building up to this amazing climactic fight with super high stakes. Then it made me stop watching because the ending was so miserable and underwhelming. The bad part is that for Fairy Tail it was excusable because it was an anime original filler arc and they couldn't have any meaningful impact on the characters or it would have messed with the next arc. This is supposed to be the penultimate arc we have been building up to. It has all the reveals for so many characters backstories and so much lore. If Adramalech doesn't kill off a bunch of characters next chapter I'm gonna be livid. Literally no weight behind anything that happens in the series anymore.
There is only one way to fix black clover and Lucifero character and that would be that Adrammelech using some sort of illusion magic and made an illusion of how he sees Lucifero and that is what they have been fighting hence the clapping making it more sarcastic clapping than well done you win good bye. Then they have to fight Adrammelech and the story can try and get back on track with some explanation of one of the huge question marks in the series what is Weg, what happened the last time devil's rose up to put them back in the underworld if they had this sort of power, or any other piece of the plot to at least attempt to recover the story.
and one more thing I believe that when a writer kills off a character is because that character doesn't serve a future purpose in their story or that characters death will have a major affect on something in the story for example lucifero being killed leaves a power gap in the underworld and maybe Asta must enter hell to fix it, and maybe the reason yami is somewhat alive is because we might end up exploring his hometown in one arch and asta can learn how to use the katana properly and also Yuno now that he knows his birth place and his background might need to make the choice of whether to stay in the golden dawn or become the king of spade kingdom
If Yami was always going to live then don't bait the Audience with multiple death flags only to end up not killing the character people hate being deceived
that slice of life post war shit is horrible when readers get blue balled into entertaining pointless battles full of plot devices & armor, this was by far the fastest rinse & repeat we have seen Shonen manga history.
It´s sad where the story is going i hope Tabata gets a nice editor and possibly change the story and remake this arc, although it would be alot of work it would be awesome but i dont see that happening
I personally liked zenon as a villain the whole on the face of overwhelming power everything is meaningless(zenon) vs our persistence will guide us(yuno) was great but other than that all the other villains were just unnecessary. Imo the best in this arc were 305 to 314 all other chapters were just a sword measuring contest.

The writer tries to introduce a villain and makes them to powerful to a point we’re tons of plot armor and power buffs come out all the time in the arcs and stories. Along with characters powers and abilities not being consistent with events.
The lost tension began when Gaja died, straight up died and after the fight “he was magically resurrected” which undercut the severity and sacrifice he made for the heart queen and the stakes became nonexistent. Death needs to have a place in all stories otherwise it’s just empty platitudes and weak proverbs

I just think it’s sad Tabatas art has reached his peak while his writing went in the complete opposite direction. Ever since the dark triad were taken out, there’s been no feeling of threat from the villains. Asta is just going to get stronger every time and one shot them. We need REAL STAKES

The only way I think tabata can redeem this is through adremelech. Instead of having poison magic like so many other people he might have something like illusion magic. And everything might just be an illusion and lucifero might actually do something. That “reality can be whatever we want” mightve been some aizen level foreshadowing .

One very disappointing thing about this arc were the other kingdoms. The heart kingdom was hyped up to have mages equal to clover kingdom captains with there more natural magic revolving around nature like gaja but were not introduced and was easily defeated off screen. The spade kingdom had more grunts than anything with no one to represent them besides yuno and the diamond kingdom was no where to be seen. While the clover kingdom has multiple wizard king level characters with op magic and plot armor.

The problem with this series is anti magic in a series where everyone's power is essentially magic. So by default Asta has the most broken power to begin with. It's dfferent from someone like luffy where the vilains have much cooler powers and he has to be creative. How does one write a protagonist with a power that makes all the powers of the vilains not work?
Yeah along with what you said the entire world revolves around it. Though it is funny the only other anti-Magic user I remember at least is the one who tried to steal Yuno’s grimoire and no other anti-magic user since.

In the earlier arcs you could see asta still struggling because not having any magic is still a big disadvantage, and he hadn't mastered his power yet. But I get now that he has alot more power, It's hard not to make him overpowered and maybe he could've beaten Lucifero in a more creative way. But with Lucifero's personality being the power superiority complex over everyone, In my opinion it would fit how he was deafeated by a simple overpowering by asta and liebe, who he considered the worst of the worst BECAUSE he has no magic. And the scene with asta and liebe understanding eachother was really nice too.
Now how crazy it would be that all this last had been an illusion created by the other demon the one that has just been sitting there watching. So at least we can have hope that when the actual lucifero shows up it won't be such an empty end of a fight.
Dante was more menacing than lucifero . The fact that my guy wanted to take out yami by himself and take gray and Vanessa by force is some balls shiet. He also took gauch out with out even thinking about it . He was literally playing with his food and seeing them suffer. Even tho he was a joke the dude really had me on the edge of my seat on how unkillable he was. If he was serious , smart in battle, and didn't underestimated his opponents he would of been a wayyyyy better villain in this arc then Zenon. Lucifero should of be the one simping for Dante

It easily could have been one of the greatest arcs in shounen. The fact that no one died doesn't bother me. It's how conveniently they were saved. If tabata didn't want to kill anyone he should have kept ALL the support mages with the main fighters. Mimosa should have been involved in the fight with Megicula. Combining twilight Valhalla with Her healing spell would've made more sense than just Nacht teleporting her at the literal last second. Or Nero or Grey having more presence in the fight and not making the audience wonder where tf they came from to heal anyone. I still read and hate this arc at the same time, Because up until this chapter it had soooo much potential. This chapter as a whole was a fatal mistake, for the entire series

This whole ark can be summarised as:
*"ah, that's just lazy writing."*
It all began with the resurrection of Gaja. Zenon is the only villain I can take seriously in this arc. We at least know what makes him tick, his past, etc. Not only that, he was the only one who's actually a threat, he wiped half of the Golden Dawn. Then the similarities with Yuno and how their paths diverged made for a good story. What a shame.
I would love the death of zenon if Tabata face him against yuno around the theme of teamwork. Like in zenon flashback we saw that when zenon face difficulties, he won’t count to anyone else except him. Which is the main difference between yuno and him. Cause yuno, even the difficulties are really hard, he always managed to teamwork and win his opponents. So for me, that to give another power up to yuno, Tabata could have use Langris to help defeating zenon. And zenon could have learn in an alternative narration that “if he let Allen act, maybe they would still be together today”. Plus that, zenon could also learned that a power of devil doesn’t make yourself unbeatable (zenon kill a devil without a power of a devil). So…
In conclusion, zenon is like the other villain he dead cause he wasn’t a hero and not because yuno was so powerful, or intelligent or anything else but not him. Zenon lost cause the plot wanted him to lost against yuno and nothing else.
Also when you realise that it's actually base heavily injured asta that could barely stand up the one that killed lucifero meanwhile when he was first introduced a weaker lucifero caught a completely uninjured astas blade. So basically not only did asta quadruple his power but his base was also affected by it and not just his base base but a on deaths door base and it was affected so much that we can say that this asta that's about to die is stronger than imperfect union asta because union asta could barely cut lucifero this one decapitated him

Base Asta could always decapitate lucifero. When Asta was in devil union, lucifero caught his blade and checked to see if it could hurt him. It could. lucifero enhances his body with gravity adding additional gravity force so he was able to stop astas sword by grabbing it.
Fast forward and lucifero is cut in multiple halves trying to escape, and yuno teleports Asta to him instantly and he instantly gets cut.
No time to stop that attack...
I think after this arc, tabata needs to bring back the original editor as he has ton’s of experience and he’s knows black clover from the beginning or he could bring back the editor who edit the elf arc as the story had depth and the characters words held weight

The ending to this fight was emotional for Asta/Liebe, but it lacked the intensity of other battles. I just have a bad feeling about it all. It looked like he took down Lucifero pretty damn easily. I feel like there's something more to it.

I think depth will return to the story through a more worldwide perspective like how many chapters after the elves arc included the magic knight captains becoming aware of the damage that was actually done across the kingdom. I remember the Witch Queen needing Vanessa to train two witches because she’d need all hands on deck for the fight against the devils but that hasn’t been explored yet so maybe the real story starts now.
I hope after the fight and everything has at least calmed down for a moment, we get to see the true lasting effects of the arc. It’s like how after a car crash, the passengers don’t know how injured they really are due to adrenaline. It’s like every character in the manga is running on adrenaline right now

I don't mind the whole "will power" thing, but it needs to be used more intelligently rather than just handing the win to the MC. A good example is in HXH Gon vs Genthru, where gon took the full brunt of his bombs to get hits in and trap him.
Why is everyone forgetting that Asta's Devil anti magic, was basically created to kill all the devils no matter how powerful. Liebe's hatred was so strong that he created an absolute ability unable to be stopped by any type of magic. The Devil's are basically not compatible against Asta.

I honestly don't see how the story would continue after this arc. The power scaling is just too ridiculous for anything to make sense afterwards. All these abilities from the main 3 characters are all basically wizard king level and endgame type of abilities.
I think it will but considering it wasnt announced this is the last arc. A new Wizard King is needed at this point cause Yami has to be Wizard King for it to make sense. I am ok with it ending though cause the days of long running Manga are over. I dropped One Piece a year ago even if it is good, cause I was annoyed with the weekly grind of keeping up. At this point I am going anime only if manga series drag on past chapter 400. I just think the days of 400+ chapter manga are gone cause even I as an older reader lack attention span to keep interest in the longest running manga. I am dragged down by MHA/Black Clover and was begging for Dr Stone to end cause at this point I am over the journey I just want to know how they end.
This is how a lot of past shonen have ended up and let me tell you, it is not a good path to go down. When the characters get this much plot armor, unexplained power ups and easy wins, the stakes become non existent and other characters become forgotten in the face of endless MC power ups and hyping.

I actually agree, ever since Mimosa's line I haven't been able to look at the series the same again, which truly is a shame as at the beginning of this arc I was hyped as hell, but now at the conclusion I just feel like we gained nothing, we didn't learn anything, none of the characters found something new about themselves, and the villains never said anything new or engaging.

This is basically what I've been thinking since he showed up. Almost to a T. I have been pretty disappointed with the lack of death. Death really makes a good story, it helps reinforce that characters aren't invincible and sometimes your favorites might die

Something about this arch feels like it’s a build up to a different one. Cuz this staff literally went from very creative and thought provoking characters to… this. This story started out with cliche and terrible characters and they wrote a way for us to love them. Maybe they doing it again? 🥴

Then Andremelech is also in contract with the 4th Socrates siblings. Just a guess 😅 In short Lucifero, Megicula and the other one were dancing in the palms of Andremelech.

I think that the legions of hell could have been more organized, same with the war that took place. this could have been big war, Game of Thrones Tier War, but Black Clover Styled. Not gonna lie the Anime could encompass more of these missing things we feel Black Clover could hold things if someone on that end has the same mindset bro.

I think my be tabata is not only building our boy asta as a protagonist but also building Lucifero as a extraordinary villian as lucifero has been invincible his entire life this was the hit he needed to bring the best out of his villainous persona.....
As for deaths.... That's an area to improve may be But it isn't over, as for this arc Lucifero might not be the main antagonist.... As the guy who's got the best seat watching that entire fight...

The only way it can be saved is that adremallech has some kind of illusion powers and creates an illusion of lucifero. Adremallech is actually there to revive lucifero who’s heart is in Yami. This aside this arc was fine uptil zenon as well. Too many holes in the story

This whole arc reminds me a lot of the Key of the Starry Sky arc from Fairy Tail. The build up was phenominal there was all this fantastic writing building up to this amazing climactic fight with super high stakes. Then it made me stop watching because the ending was so miserable and underwhelming.
The bad part is that for Fairy Tail it was excusable because it was an anime original filler arc and they couldn't have any meaningful impact on the characters or it would have messed with the next arc. This is supposed to be the penultimate arc we have been building up to. It has all the reveals for so many characters backstories and so much lore. If Adramalech doesn't kill off a bunch of characters next chapter I'm gonna be livid. Literally no weight behind anything that happens in the series anymore.

There is only one way to fix black clover and Lucifero character and that would be that Adrammelech using some sort of illusion magic and made an illusion of how he sees Lucifero and that is what they have been fighting hence the clapping making it more sarcastic clapping than well done you win good bye. Then they have to fight Adrammelech and the story can try and get back on track with some explanation of one of the huge question marks in the series what is Weg, what happened the last time devil's rose up to put them back in the underworld if they had this sort of power, or any other piece of the plot to at least attempt to recover the story.

and one more thing I believe that when a writer kills off a character is because that character doesn't serve a future purpose in their story or that characters death will have a major affect on something in the story for example lucifero being killed leaves a power gap in the underworld and maybe Asta must enter hell to fix it, and maybe the reason yami is somewhat alive is because we might end up exploring his hometown in one arch and asta can learn how to use the katana properly and also Yuno now that he knows his birth place and his background might need to make the choice of whether to stay in the golden dawn or become the king of spade kingdom
If Yami was always going to live then don't bait the Audience with multiple death flags only to end up not killing the character people hate being deceived
that slice of life post war shit is horrible when readers get blue balled into entertaining pointless battles full of plot devices & armor, this was by far the fastest rinse & repeat we have seen Shonen manga history.

I personally liked zenon as a villain the whole on the face of overwhelming power everything is meaningless(zenon) vs our persistence will guide us(yuno) was great but other than that all the other villains were just unnecessary. Imo the best in this arc were 305 to 314 all other chapters were just a sword measuring contest.
Just 305-310. Morris was a big disappointment too
