    I bought a pedal commander last year and it sat in the shipping box until I watched a few videos like this one and decided to install it about an hour ago...my Mini Cooper S is now a little BEAST! I already had 190 bhp with twin power turbos but without lag now it just friggin launches from the lights.

      Now that I've got my pedal commander dialed in, it has changed my driving experience! I don't feel it much above 40 mph but leaving the light I'm across the intersection before anyone is halfway! Lol they don't know I'm racing.

    I have a question, I just got my pedal commander and I was wondering if it’s safe to switch between modes while driving or do you have to be in park??

    • @granitecat7077
      @granitecat7077 3 года назад

      You could switch modes while at a stop or while your coasting without foot on the throttle.

    • @briannaradcliff8861
      @briannaradcliff8861 3 года назад

      We recommend changing the modes of the PC unit ( Eco, City, Sport, or Sport+) while your foot is off the accelerator or while cruise control is disengaged. By doing this, it will prevent any CEL or EPC lights from coming on and putting your vehicle into limp mode. Each of our modes has different signal strengths so we say to do this as a preventative measure.

    I heard a lot of complaints from Mopar fam saying they got on it after about 3mths of it being installed and they lost all fuel power. Didn't go past 10mph. Can explain why the vehicles are doing that. I've been wanting to install one on my vehicle but don't want to risk damage to the transmission or anything.

    • @PedalCommander
      @PedalCommander  3 года назад

      This is called going into "Limp Mode" the vehicle does this when the ECU registers a fault in the engine or transmission. This is done to protect the vehicle and driver from the fault creating a more serious accident.
      Generally speaking, the Pedal Commander will only cause a check engine light or limp mode if the unit was not installed correctly or the plugs have come loose over time.
      In this case, the reason the vehicle enters limp mode is that it's a reading a disruption in the voltage from the Pedal Position Sensor. If the unit was not installed correctly or if the plugs have come loose this can create that disruption.
