In the time of the Vedas, or just before the Vedas were written, the Indians and the Iranians were one culture. The Iranians are almost like brothers to Indians. Of course, much has changed in the last 3000 years, but you can still sense the similarities.

Roberto Prieto - excellent ! I am Afghan and we are The centre of ancient Ariana. The more I know about my heritage the more I love it. I love Omar Khyaam so much. One of Khyaam’s poems questions the wine sellers by saying, what better they can buy in return for selling their wine. I wrote a 15 line poem in Farsi and answered Khyaam’s questions. I can translate it but it would take time. You are the first apart from Khyamm poem site that I share with. It is my copy right.
خیام میگوید:
تا زهره و مه در آسمان گشت پدید
بهتر ز می ناب کسی هیچ ندید
من در عجبم ز می فروشان که ایشان
زین به که فروشند چه خواهند خرید
فواد چرخی بجواب خیام میگوید: می فروشان با پول که از فروش می بدست میاورند اندوخته های بهتر دارند، و خیام ناراحت نباشد
خیام! بده فرصت بگم یک خبر و چند نوید
می فروشان گویند همه جا باغ انگور شانید
کز وسعت اش استیشن فضایی انتها ندید
انگا بیشتر میخانه، خم، کوزه و پیاله خرید
بی معشوق و ساقی زیبا نفس و قدم نبرید
آن چشم زیبا، لب می نما و قد رسا چو بید
این موجود چه است به بدنم نفس تازه دمید
موج رویا و آهنگ کهکهشانها از من سرید
بین حالم دگرگون شد مگر نمیبینید و کرید
خواهم خیز وجست کنم بالا به آسمان پرید
از حسن ساقی اش قلب ها دوراز خانه درید
شهر دیوانه و مستان سر، مو و گریبان درید
عشق دگرگونم کرد و حال خواب از چشم پرید
حسم خوشتر است از تاج و تخت جم و فرید
