To be honest In this video you see a guy , very well trained, but even him cannot handle the cold steel thai machete very well with one hand. This weapon is a two handed thing
Its based on dhaab or dha though. Even though those blades have long handle they are usually used one handed in krabi krabong for example. The long handle mainly just acts as counter balance to the blade i guess
@@lalli8152 I know those machetes, too. I trained krabi krabong at my muay thai gym. And normaly the thai machete is very light weight, but the cold steele machete isn´t light weight and you buy it at the store as a two handed weapon. That´s why i would say, if you want an ORIGINAL lightweight thai machete you got to buy from thailand and you got to pay some money for it
Great video, good to see this blade chopping something other than water bottles.
Thanks master for that little masterclass. I have Thai machete i will try tomorrow
You got a nice edge on those.good fun. Keep safe! And now for the chore of picking up all the chunks.
What cuts better this or the Katana Wakazashi with the Full Handle??? AWESOME VIDEOS!
The katana and wakizashi are all superior cutters over the thai
You look awesomely cool in this video
Ngl I was afraid for that dog for a second
What is this you are cutting in this Video ??? Bambus or ?? 😳🤔🤔🤔
Paper mailing tubes. Cheap
did you use a lot of strength when you swing the sword? seems like its so effortless. is there a technique for it?
It's effortless if the technique is right!
You're channeling Musashi in this video!
ahhh you got me at 0:22, I really thought for a second that you were going to do a double strike at the same time!!
I'll have to try that
where was it filmed?
Washington!

Their machete line brings so much vibration its understandable, but maybe some lizard grip tape would fix that.

only your chanel know Thai sword is one hand...
I think that's why cold steel calls it thai MACHETE
That people know it's cold steel stuff and not traditional
