You and your wakizashi move like you came out of the womb with it, awesome. That's the perfect length sword in my opinion, very controllable and balanced
I find the ridge moulded into the handle right under the guard a bit irritating, so I partially filled it with half an inch of bicycle inner tube, then put 1½" of inner tubing over that. Now the handle under the guard is soft and sticky, right where my my thumb and forefinger wrap around. It wears out eventually, but it's easy to replace. So the next time you get a puncture, save that inner tube, it's really useful for mods like this!
awesome video guys , i love getting out chopping a few birch saplings down , my wakizashi nestles unobtrusively in my tripod bag while im out in the uk taking photos , in forests photographing wildlife , its an excellent tool at clearing scrub i dont need in the shot and no doubt i will get in trouble for having it one day , people in this country have an inbuilt dislike to anybody with a sence of adventure , dont let it happen there !
LeeFist Martial Arts I’m looking to get one of the newer cold steel tomahawks soon, out of the Spontoon, diamond spontoon and the weeping heart hawk, which one is your favorite to use?
I had mine done by some awesome dudes at Cold Steel. However they told me it's easy to and modify if you have the right tools. I've heard that people with dremels and a metal cutting blade have done it!
@@RichardLeeLeefist for a normal guy, whats the best tools to use to do so? Btw you should totally try to get the cold steel guys to release a tactical wakizashi machete but with katana handle
@@RichardLeeLeefist do you know where to get a scabbard for the tactical katana and wakizashi? I dont like the vinyl sheath that the cold steel ones come with.
@@RichardLeeLeefist thats a lot of stone work ( unless you used a belt sander ) i wouldnt want to heat the blade that much so its skating the wet stones for me
Yes we use a knife making belt grinder. Well worth the money. If you want you can use a file to create the new bevel. Takes a lot of work but can be done
@@RichardLeeLeefist no worries . what grade belt and what material works best . iv got belt sanders i use for cheap stainless blades , theyre a bugger to hand sharpen , unlike carbon steel

Mate you are lethal with that blade!
I'm ok
My thoughts exactly 💯💯💯
@@RichardLeeLeefistI just read his comment 5 seconds before I watched your cutting skills in the vid and lennard is not wrong…
Love the ending it fired me up. Time to get ready for the grid down chaos that will come with WWWIII.
Cold steel should send you a cheque for this baller review; good one dude
Holy Cow I’m glad I watched this till the end ❤🎬
3:05 in and my testosterone levels went thro the roofs 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes very sad. The uk was the greatest country one time. Keep doing what your doing!
It's really sad that knife enthusiasts have to suffer from a couple bad apples running rampants with their knifes
Wish the handle was just smooth and thinner so I could wrap it myself. Now I’ll have to grind it down.
I think what needs modifying is the scabbard.
Nice video, you seem like a cool dude to work with
Thank you sir!

@@bowfin9553 they are all great but if i was water boarded to choose one...I'd take the weeping heart hawk. it's devastating!
After seeing your video ordered the tactical katana, wakizashi and tanto machetes 😆👍
Nice video!
Very good video, and end is very impressive.
Lee, how can i get a Wakizashi with a Katana handle?

Proof that if you put the word “tactical“ on anything, the weekend campers will be lining up for them.
Wow your videos are awesome
Beautiful dangerous sword 👍️
Back in the old days when kids had paper routes and work ethics
Cool stuff 😎

How did you shorten the katana? You said you cut the blade down, what did you use?
Some awesome people at cold steel did for me
@@RichardLeeLeefist for a normal guy, whats the best tools to use to do so? Btw you should totally try to get the cold steel guys to release a tactical wakizashi machete but with katana handle
I've used a Drexel with a metal cutting blade and a belt grinder for shaping. Don't overheat!
@@RichardLeeLeefist do you know where to get a scabbard for the tactical katana and wakizashi? I dont like the vinyl sheath that the cold steel ones come with.
No idea. I just stick with what cold steel made
one long handle warrior wakizashi on its way 😁😁😁😁 they feel much lighter held further down the handle
Cold Steel now has a “long handle” wakizashi will be modifying a tactical katana machete to approximate the wakizashi, love the long handle
What material do you chop? It's bamboo or paper tube? Thanks
Mail tubes
The executioner blade looks like something a Shinigami would have from Bleach!
have you kept the same grind when you sharpened it
No sir. Increased the cantel height on it. Much better!

Start with 220 for reshaping and go higher in grit. I believe we don't go over 400 for machete
Cool 👍👍👍
Try more 150$ plus here in Canada it’s so sad
@@jacobkrill4751 sorry 😞 man
@ truly is unfortunate I really want to to make that wakizashi with katana handle
It would have been even better if you had explained what tools you use to cut the blades and handles with.
I had a gentlemen at cold steel do all the cutting and grinding!

How do we get these mods?
The metal is quite easy to work with. If you have a bandsaw or dremel the mods can be done yourself!
I guess its a good thing my bones aren't made of cardboard tubes.
Did you see that girl at the end 😳
Dopo aver visto questo video Voglio diventare suo amico ❤️
I like the girl.💖
