Sorry i missed the live video.. I love seeing surgery. Having mine in 3 weeks. I really enjoy your bedside manner. And the way you empathize with people. And you don’t dismiss what some call asymptomatic symptoms.

I’ve had PTH at 123 (last test result), low vitamin D (take vitamin d supplements), with my most recent calcium at 11.1…along with symptoms like fatigue, memory loss/brain fog, major thirst and urination, aches; just to name a few.
Found a nodule in first ultrasound done in thyroid. Did biopsy and was benign. They told me to wait 6months to retest my levels
6months later, blood work showing levels still the same.
Referred for a sestamibi scan and ultrasound….
Scan results: “suggestive” for an adenoma
    Ultrasound: nothing found 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Now being referred to surgery.
Why wasn’t anything found in 2nd ultrasound and your video is saying a sestamibi scan is not as accurate….would u still suggest surgery with these results?

@@Miko50177 i still feel the same. The fatigue is what does it for me. The thirst has gotten better. I’m scheduled for my pre-op appointments in august and surgery September 7. They are focusing on the right module they found but now looking back they also found one on the left in a ultrasound but hasn’t even been mentioned anymore so this is something I’m definitely bringing up because i keep hearing if they miss anything the issues can still continue….
Just keep up with it if you can. Try and fix your insurance issue. I DONT know how you feel but with time i just have felt worse. Best of luck

I have been struggling with what I assume is my thyroid for years. Because my lab work comes back normal no one will take me seriously. I've recently had an ultrasound, showing an enlarged thyroid/goiter, complex nodules, inferior hypoechoic nodules, increased vascularity - no microcalcification, the gland is heterogeneous throughout. Fatigue, muscle weakness, trouble swallowing, pain in my neck, head and upper chest. Stomach and kidney area pains, fatty liver disease. :( What do I need to do to move forward with a diagnoses?

A nodule that doesn’t affect your thyroid hormone levels wont give you fatigue and muscle weakness. It can give you swallowing issues if it is very large and pushing on the esophagus. But unlikely to give you pain on a continuous basis. You will need to see a doctor that is willing to go the extra mile. May want to look into a functional medicine doctor.
