It looks like the lights leading me down an infinite path to death and the afterlife, and the lights go out behind me as I pass them. Or I die, and there's no afterlife, so I look back thinking, "I could've gone farther in my life..." For eternity until I just get glossed over as all of my family walks past me in the best of health and away into the distance, never to be seen by me again, and they eventually all forget about me.

I'm always looking for ones to fall asleep to but the rain always sounds too loud/harsh for me to able to relax to it, but this is perfect because the rain sounds light and gentle. this is exactly what I've been looking for. thank you

That's because you wear earphones. The very violent thunderstorm videos are best played over a loud speaker in surround sound (that's what I do) it sounds just like you are in the middle of a storm. This, however, does sound like it would be more soothing for headphone use

It's interesting how those who suffer from depression often find rain soothing. Maybe it's because the rest of the world quiets down when it rains. I sometimes see the world as a bustling, messy beehive, constantly agitated and noisy. But when it rains, Society slows down, the streets get emptier, calmer... the usual cacophony of the city's thousand noises gets replaced, with only the pitter-patter of the rain filling the air.

i have no idea why, but these videos helps calm my mind down (i have asbergers, adhd, anxiety and depression) my mind is constantly going and, never shuts down, body never relaxes. But these videos helps to drown the mind with the gentle constant sound of rain. Gives me a opportunity to fall asleep quicker instead of turning in the bed for 2 hours before finally falling asleep.

I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

I'm housebound at the moment recovering from cancer and I cant walk out I love the rain...it frees me and I feel with these videos I am getting to experience London without sitting on a train or a tube to get there. I agree. Thats all i wanna do. Just sit and think about school and remember the times when i felt more joy. Feel the rain drip down my hood and watch it splash on the ground. I just wanna stare at all the silent trees and make up some scenario where i walk through a dark forest at night with rain wetting all the dirt and plants. Just sit on that bench thinking about said scenario and wondering what would happen next. Just think about school. Id just think about living alone. But id end up thinking about all the shit thats fucked up my life. Thinking about the people who bullied me. Think about the people who i thought i could trust, but ended up hating me and betrayed me. Id probably have a mental breakdown. Id probably think about how bad my future could be. How i could end up homeless if i dont get a good job. How i could die young and sad. Id probably start to feel depressed sitting there and wanna sleep on the bench as the rain saturates my hood and i fade from reality into a river of thoughts.
