I'm literally the woman at the well. I had multiple partners and Jesus came for me unmarried. He showed me how what I thought was fulfilling me left me emptier. I met Jesus in a huge way in lock down and I can't deny he is God!!! I will not serve another God but that one. Now I proclaim him to anyone that will hear.
My story too! Isn’t God good?! It’s like I was a broken leaking vessel that He has me in the potters house shaping and molding me. He has sealed the leak completely and continues to work on my heart and character. The battle is not to lose that fire by complacency.
"I'm gonna like, give her the Lord real quick" ...reminds me what my pastor said, when pain and anger gets misdirected and comes to you, let it find the Lord in you. Don't respond with what you received, respond with what's in you.
This is my favorite podcast so far. I have always had so much guilt with this passage. I love Jesus showed his humanity to be relatable FIRST. Then he began revealing himself. We serve a good, loving God who sees us and loves us where we are. ❤
Mind blown…. Conversion is when God, Jesus reveals Himself to us! I’ve NEVER heard the gospel of salvation taught in such a simple yet powerful way. Seeking the heart of Jesus, The Lord is it.
I heard once that in every marriage there is an impressed spouse and an unimpressed spouse. You can totally tell which one is which in their relationship and I love it 😂😂❤❤. I'm always blessed by the message they bring ❤
Hey Jackie and Preston. The word you’re looking for is Kenosis. Im learning a lot from you guys. I thank God for you guys submission and obedience. I sound smart huh😂. Naw. Love you brother and sister in Christ. 💪🏽🙏🏽
I don't comment ever and this would be the first. It was important to share the revelation that "at the end of your rope (your weakness), there you find God". The strength of God is made perfect in our weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:8-10.
"Push people to Jesus, and then they will believe because they saw Him. That's the whole point of Ministering". Thank you for sharing Ministers, the world is much more blessed because you are in it. May your anointing continue to be refreshed daily through Christ. Cheers.
Hey I really appreciate you guys. Your authenticity speaks volumes. It’s nice to see real Christians that struggle with things, instead of plastic TV Christians.🙏
Remember yall our Brother Preston told us that he was hungry before the podcast started. My hubby is the same way, feed him first and you get what you want out of him. Low Blood sugar will cause him to go blank, in his thoughts. This episode was beneficial to me. I love how yall keep it simple. The GOOD NEWS aint that complicated.
Live in Texas, and you are spot on regarding "everyone" knows of Jesus but sadly not "everyone" truly knows Jesus. I'm learning this as I seek to draw closer to GOD. Can't wait to see you June 3rd @ With the Perrys Podcast tour:). Stay safe, prayed up and much blessings!!!!!!!
You are NOT the only one who gets excited when we read that! I also get excited that he chose HER to go reveal the Messiah has come, not one of his disciples! It always kind of gets me that we have gotten our impression of Jesus so wrong for so long, when it's revealed pretty clearly in the Bible. He is pure love, restorer of dignity, and would not be a good politician! lol!
This was beautiful a few weeks ago I wrote a poem called the Well Woman about God speaking to the woman at the well And calling her to her true identity. Thank you so much for this
I love seeing ministers stirred up by the Word and not getting complacent or lofty in knowledge. They may be young, but they are very mature saints and ministers. Jackie got that leg shakin and hands movin...she was feeling what she was saying, and so AM I!😂❤😊
Jackie, could you please, please write a bible study based on your teachings on Hagar and the woman at the well? I am a sexual abuse survivor, and I have been wanting to go through a bible study that teaches us how God restores our lives after abuse, promiscuity, etc. I think it would be a study of restoration. Please pray on it. We need it.
Hi. In the meantime the YouVersion app has a few Bible study plans on this: Born to Bloom (Heal from Sexual Abuse) and Grace Abounds (Hope and Healing from Sexual Abuse)
I highly appreciate Jackie's passion. I was getting excited in my room and passionately listen. I gotta run this back to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'm not in ministry but I have been becoming close with my coworker who is now my friend (who is christian) and we often have impromptu Bible studies at work because she doesn't read her Bible, but she knows that I do and I am able to enlighten and teacher about God and the Bible. I would one day like to host a Bible study but just don't know how. Yall are so dang helpful you just don't know.
WOW,WOW! The LORD came through in this teaching. The Word was broken down so crystal clear. This was so needed . May the Lord continue to cover your ministry and family. Blessings! WOW
Thank you Jackie & Preston for dissecting and breaking down the scriptures the way you do so that everyone can understand it. We so NEED teachers like you in today's society. God bless you.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This reminds me of EV Hill's sermon, "GOD at His Best." God, the Creator, condescends and hears the cry of each and every one of His creatures. He steps down and answers our cries. He loves to reveal Himself to us. He never ignores a heart that genuinely seeks Him. Hallelujah! 👍🏾
Watching from LA, so thankful for both of you!! You guys are so needed in this culture we are living in! Thank you for your obedience to your gifts and calling ❤️🤟🏽
this wasssss soooooo gooooooood to me! Thank you for this episode. I recently picked John up again for the seven leventh time and I got stuck on chapter 4. Jackie, you literally answered every question looming about the strange responses of Jesus. I couldn't understand how it fit together until this moment. IT WAS ALL TO REVEAL HIMSELF. The part resonating with me the most is you've had 5 husbands...not to necessarily state that for shame but through and through to reveal I am the Christ, I see you and I know everything. I am not simply a Jewish man, I am so much more; I am HE! Im praying to see Jesus and his nature this clearly in every book I read. to learn to sit with the text and zoom in from 66 books to one verse in one chapter and to understand what God is saying/revealing...I cant wait to do ministry differently....I hunger for this level of revelation that I may know Him. Thank you. Do you have any videos on how to study the scriptures and to interpret as God gave inspiration to write them?
19:40 Deus Absconditus… The Hidden God. I heard this term just last week and you have helped flesh it out for me. This podcast always makes me feel like I’m right there on the couch too! Takes me twice as long to get through because I need to keep pausing to add in my 2 cents 😅
I’ve just now stepped into leadership at my church and these are helping me sooooo much in being prepared and understanding ministry. Thank you both so much!!!
The way I wanted to throw my shoe at my phone multiple times during this episode. My God! Thank you for this teaching. Thank you for confirming that we can start spreading the Good News right where we are in our faith-walk with Him. SO good!
His power is made perfect in weakness. Our humanity points to the fact that we are limited and God is Holy. He is transcendent. God used Jackie to teach me and lead me to that.
Thank y'all so much for your ministry! I just want to say, if we could all see eachother as born into sin so that the glory of God can be revealed in us. As we see others this way, practicing true humility, knowing we are no better, we will actually stop judging, stop thinking evil, forgive one another's humanity, and just love eachother, waiting expectantly for God’s glory to be revealed in them and us.
Realistic to the way God made us, human, as to dependence on God. I need God in the working of my humanity, which is a gift to me. Power in jars of clay!
Jesus was connecting to her through his humanity, his weak side. That's how i need to connect with people through their struggle and mine and then look to Jesus to deliver us from it.
you two are so funny.... and also sooo good. Jackie you broke this down and I see the story of the woman at the Well from a more layered and multifacted dynamic and light now. GLORY!
Only 16 minutes in but this immediately made me think of scripture James 5:16... This gave it a whole new meaning for me. Confessing your sins could save someone who may be lukewarm or nowhere near the faith. Amen.
Good day, how are you both? I pray this finds you in the best way possible, and all is well! I just needed to say amazing. I think you guys are in so many ways. Your union, your relationship, your friendship, your mission, your salvation, your hearts, your diligence, your dedication, your transparency. I you get! And I'm glad I had a chance to express this to you. You guys are part of my lineup, my go-to guys. Bishop Noel Jones, Dr. Dharius Daniels, The Perry's, Jerry Flowers, Pastor Anthony Powell KMM, Voddie Baucham, just to name a few. But I wanted you guys to know how this pod cast is truly a blessing. I feel engaged and enlighten! So thank you, if you guys didn't say yes to God, he always have a ram in the bush. By we would be deprived of two young heavyweights for Christ. I didn't want to say all of this, I just wanted you guys to know how you are appreciated! And to say thank you, so, thank you!
You talking about the Word becoming flesh reminded me of something i read last week from 'The screwtape letters' book... 'The present is where we can most access God's grace and mercy and eternity.' (not the exact words). It made me remember the instances where Eternity really did meet people in time, the woman at the well and the transfiguration! And it also made me see that every time God answers me and i am in the act of worshiping him, learning about him or hearing from him, THAT is also eternity and the Word of God meeting me. Amazing!😃
Jackie I really appreciate y’all teaching and so thankful I have connections to your Ministry, I attend church regularly and participate in community service but when I’m in y’all presence I feel the love, passion and presence of God all over me, please don’t sharing and caring about us, we love y’all and will continue to pray for this Ministry because we Need your teachings in our lives, God Bless Y’all 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️💐🤗🤗
Mathew 4:19 and Mark 1:17 And Yeshua says to them follow me and I will make you fishers of men... You have to follow him, learn to be a fisher, and then you will know how to "lure" them to Him... All these years of hearing this verse, and it finally all comes together.... it's there, he shows us how... leading by example.
39:35 I heard one wise man preach it in this way: he informed us hearers that he has made the observation that the woman at the well has had 5 husbands and the man she is now with is not her husband making him the 6th but now here at the well she meets the 7th Man, the Anointed One from God, Who will be the perfect husband to her (not in a literal physical sense but making her a believer and apart of His bride the church for He would go on to give Himself for her and the sin of the world as He goes to the cross) so the teacher was using the number 7 to show how perfect Jesus is and in the same breath he also made us aware of his observation about how Jesus ministered to her in what he called a love sandwich: bottom bun = what you have said is correct in that you have no husband, here Jesus acknowledges that she is telling the truth, in a way giving her props for at least being honest and not trying to hide her status, meat = Jesus gives her a loving rebuke saying that you worship what you do not know, and that they worship what they do know for salvation is if the Jews, and here Jesus is putting to bed the argument of the Samaritans saying they are right about what mountain to worship on, this can be perceived as a statement that would humble her and immediately afterwards he goes on to tell her what the Father desires and requires. Top bun = He reveals to her that He is the Messiah Ik she didn’t ask me how have I heard that passage of scripture preached but it was sound so I decided to share.
16:29 very powerful, really great point. People misunderstand what weakness really is. And huge shoutout to your editor, they did a great job with the color grading.
This is so good! I just started reading Jackie’s book “Holier Than Thou” & the absolute gems in there are what I wished I had known about God in my teenage years while growing up in church but I thank God for his purposes & plans ❤ Romans 8:28 for my good & His glory
God is good!
Jj
Hallelujah!!! Cheers to you for drinking from the living water and proclaiming the good news.
My story too! Isn’t God good?! It’s like I was a broken leaking vessel that He has me in the potters house shaping and molding me. He has sealed the leak completely and continues to work on my heart and character. The battle is not to lose that fire by complacency.

Me at work: PREACH JACKIE 🗣️
Out of all the people she could’ve sent that to… she sent that to the perfect person!
God is so merciful! I hope that seed grows.
“He begins with His humanity, not His divinity.” WOW!!
"I'm gonna like, give her the Lord real quick" ...reminds me what my pastor said, when pain and anger gets misdirected and comes to you, let it find the Lord in you. Don't respond with what you received, respond with what's in you.

WOW THIS IS 🔥 I’m taking this saying your pastor said because it’s GOLD

This is my favorite podcast so far. I have always had so much guilt with this passage. I love Jesus showed his humanity to be relatable FIRST. Then he began revealing himself. We serve a good, loving God who sees us and loves us where we are. ❤
preston: “when people ask me stuff on the spot -- i literally go blank -- i don’t know what you’re saying” 😭
same preston, same.
It's sweet how Preston flirts with his wife. 😊
Your response to that young lady made me cry 😭 that was love
frrr😢😢🥹if I was that woman I know I would've cried hard. That's Jesus' love right here!

Can I get an AMEN 😂😂😂
The way she did a little blush smile when he noticed her and said “got your lil makeup on” y’all are so sweet ❤😊
"Push people to Jesus, and then they will believe because they saw Him. That's the whole point of Ministering". Thank you for sharing Ministers, the world is much more blessed because you are in it. May your anointing continue to be refreshed daily through Christ. Cheers.

I heard this term just last week and you have helped flesh it out for me. This podcast always makes me feel like I’m right there on the couch too! Takes me twice as long to get through because I need to keep pausing to add in my 2 cents 😅
What am amazing response. God wanted that to happen so you could minister to her....Thank you 🎉
..."Teaching in the name of Jesus and not like him"...that is a whole word🙌🏾🔥
Wow God myself met me at my darkest time and I now am getting to know him. Glory be
Oh my! Seeing people for who they are...and stop being superficial in our ministry. I'm loving this y'all! Amen!
Great teaching!!!! Very insightful and inspiring. The love of Jesus is beyond amazing!
I’ve just now stepped into leadership at my church and these are helping me sooooo much in being prepared and understanding ministry. Thank you both so much!!!
Thank you for giving that person JESUS!🎉👏🏼💕🙏🏼🎉👏🏼💕🙏🏼
And THATS how you handle a wrong text. That was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Listening from Portland and she's not lying 😆 love y'all
The way I wanted to throw my shoe at my phone multiple times during this episode. My God! Thank you for this teaching. Thank you for confirming that we can start spreading the Good News right where we are in our faith-walk with Him. SO good!
My favorite story in the Bible and now my love for Jesus and this text has expanded. Thank you guys!!!
I love this episode, it's like a fun bible study 📖
As someone who’s from Portland I can certify that what y’all said is 100% accurate. 😂
His power is made perfect in weakness. Our humanity points to the fact that we are limited and God is Holy. He is transcendent. God used Jackie to teach me and lead me to that.
This was some good spiritual food. Keep allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to and through you both. What a blessing 😮🙌🏾💙
This is sooo good "prioritize the Sabbath"
Y'all got lots of Jesus in Portland❤❤❤ Bring one of those live pods here and we're gonna show up and show out. Love you🥰🥰
I can listen to the Women at the Well so many times and it brings light to my faith each time. Thank you Ms Jackie ❤
People fails to see that God wanted us to be human. That is why he redeemed us.
50:21 the way I feel her frustration about people’s lack of excitement! There should have been some tongues or whoops of joy! 🎉😂😂

Praying for blessings, protection for this Godly family and ministry 💗 Grateful for y'all!
This podcast is God-sent. Jesus is good.
God bless y'all❤❤❤
That's encouraging to have weaknesses, love Jesus and show people out weaknesses as we are being worked on in the Holy Spirit ❤
Y’all are truly anointed! Bring tears to my eyes with the revelation. Thank you for being vessels. Truly. ❤
you two are so funny.... and also sooo good.
This must be the very best podcast I’ve ever heard! Not just on your platform but in general! May His name be praised 🙌🏾
You talking about the Word becoming flesh reminded me of something i read last week from 'The screwtape letters' book... 'The present is where we can most access God's grace and mercy and eternity.' “Good job Jackie!”
I agree…👏🏽
I'm so happy that you touched Sabbath rest.
Thank you for breaking down this scripture and allow us to see Jesus in his Glory pouring into the woman at the well. He didn't condemn but loved her
Jackie, you are phenomenal. Preston still developing Deliverance..
Jackie I love how you and Preston complement each other.
Befuddled..Yes . Befuddled..
Mixed ethnicity.
False conversion.
Everybody says that they are a christian, based on what they believe a christian to be not what the scripture says.
Jesus did not pacify the woman.
Jesus was always drawing me!!!
Mathew 4:19 and Mark 1:17
And Yeshua says to them follow me and I will make you fishers of men...
You have to follow him, learn to be a fisher, and then you will know how to "lure" them to Him... All these years of hearing this verse, and it finally all comes together.... it's there, he shows us how... leading by example.
Ooooooooh eeeeeeeeh!! This was so powerful. Thank you for your time and ministry.
Myyyy it haven’t even started all the way yet and y’all spittin 🔥!!! Thank you Jesus!!! 🙏🏽
Get it all digested!
Top bun = He reveals to her that He is the Messiah
Ik she didn’t ask me how have I heard that passage of scripture preached but it was sound so I decided to share.
I'm liking these Hour with the Perrys
I'm so grateful for you guys and other Ministries that teach the "BIBLE" for exactly what it is ❤
16:29 very powerful, really great point.
Yesss Jackie! I’m new to Texas and I’m noticing this big time!
