Back when Thor and Juggernaut were tough and not something to prop up Hulk. I miss the old comics Thor actually seemed magical instead of a brute with a hammer, Juggernaut was actually unstoppable, Hulk wasn't a genocidal maniac, Spiderman wasn't constantly depressed, those were the days.

So do I , marvel needs to bin all these daft upgrades , hulk doesn’t need amps he already has the potential to have unlimited strength and Thor just needs to be Thor no rune king or the like , he’s the god of thunder the fun for me was always the raw elemental aspect of his power why would he need energy blasts when he could summon lightning, wind , bounce mjolnir of your head or just punch your lights out

I got this issue! It was from the 90's run on Thor. It's just the art style looks like it's from the 70's. This was actually a rematch between Thor and Juggernaut. When they fought the first time, Thor was ill and not 100% (Thanks to Loki). It took The New Warriors to try and stop Juggs. I think Thor banished Juggernaut to that alien planet. However fans was not happy about that first fight so Marvel gave us a proper rematch!

I love when Thor uses Mjolnir almost telepathically. It really shows how powerful of a weapon it is. It’s not just a blunt object, it can be commanded to do virtually anything independently of its wielder. Imagine Doctor Doom is on the other side of of the planet building a giant laser and all of a sudden Mjolnir comes flying in from the other side of the planet and smashes it and flies back.
