You should cover some of the strange, eerie, and out of place houses you can purchase in house flipper. There are plenty uncharacteristically dark and creepy things, such as the house from the halloween update that is completely out of line in just how interactively spooky it is. Edit: Including other houses that are borderline murder scenes. And the halloween house im speaking of the the "Samarta Myers House"
Such places are often seen as scary simply because a vast majority of the population don't ever see that, and when you don't see it the imagination runs wild ...
Now that you mention thief themes this reminds me of the Ratway from Skyrim and 2014’s Thief in the asylum when you peak in and a hallucination of Erin surprises you through a keyhole Something I forgot: in Brother’s in Arms: Hell’s highway; which again has a schizophrenic main character that sees the ghosts of old teammates. In a German occupied hospital in Holland while you search for a rogue squadmate, you have to sneak through a wall and through the walls and the ghost of your old squadmate Kevin Leggett walks across the gap with his rifle at rest and stops in front of the desk blocking you and says nothing for a few seconds before walking away all while the light on the ceiling flickers rapidly. The creepiness only stops when you find your squadmate in his final moments and another squadmate catches up and executes a German sneaking up on you and you leave together.
@@Otterdisappointment I was lukewarm on the Thief reboot, but that level did play one clever trick on anyone who was familiar with the equivalent asylum level in Thief: Deadly Shadows. In T:DS, you try the front door and find it's locked, but then a hatch opens around the side, letting you in through the cellar. Thi4f does the same thing, but then you find the hatch is locked too. Only on returning to the front door does it hit you with the keyhole scare.
That wooden door feels like an old part of the tunnel, like Very old part of it, way back to the early 1900th, like that small secret room was once been used for something but got abandoned at some point. People in old days like to make secret tunnels and secret rooms, sometimes it even connects to the sewer or subway system, and they usually have that old looking wooden door or rusty metal door.
I never got spooked running around down there, but the way you put it makes it seem a lot better to go with tunnel guy. Only things of note I found down there are some item spawns, like the others in the game, that spawn stuff based on your level like 2g bags of weed or spraypaint. Also, a homeless guy. He doesn't do anything but sell bootleg furniture though, and I wasn't interested. He took card surprisingly.
I’d never even heard of this game before, but I’m intrigued! What really gets me are the “real world” aspects surrounding the update and creating confusion. Like, why make the sewers so big? Why add this level in so late? Why change the tone of the game completely and randomly and well after its release? It just brings to mind so many odd questions, which kind of perfectly encapsulates what is often so captivating about creepypastas that sound like this situation. The mystery seems like it goes way deeper than just the surface level and more than anything, just begs “why?” Very interesting and noteworthy commentary on this! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
First video of yours I'm seeing here, and already subscribed. great stuff man! I'm definitely going to check out your other videos focusing on this type of stuff!
It's pretty cool. Obviously as seen by discochickVEVO's reply, it's not for everyone but I'd still check out the demo. It's free and let's you get an idea of what the full game is like (so what a demo is supposed to be, not like what a lot of newer "demos" for games are like lol)
Ok, so this was the last game I thought I'd ever hear you talk about it and what's creepy about it is I am playing Drug Dealer Simulator at this very moment (paused currently to find some background video to play for noise obviously lol). Though really, it's not so creepy when you take into account the fact that I looked up a couple videos on the game today to show my friends what it's like but it's still funny how that works. I haven't played the game since 7/21/2020 and I haven't really kept pace with the updates so I'm finding all the additions and changes they've made as I play. Still, cool to know that one of my new favorite RUclipsrs is also interested in simulating becoming a drug kingpin XD
The wooden doors might be a reference to the 'main base' in V for Vendetta. Looong stretch, but if I remember correctly, the dudes came was in the sewer. That room behind the door looks similiar to his base.. I think. Again, long stretch, and it's been a LONG time since I've seen it
Am I the only one who always got a sense of relief from the sewers? Always when I saw a cop around a corner, getting into the sewers was so relieving for me
Reminds me of the sewer system from the game Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, but those were in a game with an already Gothic and sometimes disturbing atmosphere
They should make it so you have to charge your phone on public outlets like outside a burger place and shit
One of those guys with the 20ft cords
@dogecoin investor not possible, it's just a power outlet

Maybe you gotta buy your own then you can charge it wherever there is an outlet.

@@TheLibrarianYT I see now, sick!
Same weird, lonely yet unnerving energy as some Source maps while playing at night.
That scream came from the TV right? Not from downstairs... Right?

Thanks bro. This reminds me of that thief simulator game. I think it's made by the same people but I am unsure.
I want to do a video on the haunted house in that game, but I've played it before and all the stuff is gone even on a new save.
I completely forgot that that game had a haunted house

Well I can imagine a rotting corpse sitting in a room that's blocked off abandoned.

Its all fun and games until the dev spawn something there.
halloween update maybe
Completely leaves it out of the patch notes and it only spawns 10% of the times you enter
Actually looks like an interesting game. Anyone played it?
heard about it, thought iwmt was just another game like goat simulator
i bought it like a year ago and honestly i thought is was pretty bad. just boring and convoluted. maybe it's changed idk.
Jerma did.

Almost gives me similar vibes to the back alley in "Welcome to the Game 2." Spoopy.

The picture of the conference room reminds me of the one in the HHM building on Better Call Saul
If you've done a bit of sewer diving in a place with drug problems that's hardly as bad as RL
Am I the only one who always got a sense of relief from the sewers? Always when I saw a cop around a corner, getting into the sewers was so relieving for me
reminds me of Dead Island’s very creepy ambient in the sewers
I want this game now
3:24 i think it is a reference to the Incredibles 1 (halfway in the movie there is a room similar to that)
That picture of that room seems to be one of the maps from the game "Hand Simulator"
Was expecting jumpscare when peaking thru the cracks
Just no clip into the rooms, and search around more aggressively.
Reminds me of the sewer system from the game Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, but those were in a game with an already Gothic and sometimes disturbing atmosphere
I wouldn't mind watching you play DDS for a bit. Amusing management game indeed.
The "portable grill" is called a potjie.
That vaguely reminds me of the freemason tunnels in Assassin's Creed III's Boston and New York
The sewer is an UE4 asset you can buy. It's out of place because it was just slammed in there.
Did anyone else get randomly recommended this channel
its like walking in the sewers in Gmod downtown v2 at night
This makes me realize a C.H.U.D. game where you sterilize multiple sewer systems of monsters would totally work
Shouldnt the fog be pitch black down there? Takes the creepy from it
Holy shit that is terrifying.
Bruh the Ghost's are doing drugs
I feel like it’s a setup for an upcoming Halloween update.
If I had to use a creepy ass sewer to traverse my city I just would take any other course of work
The wooden door in sewers reminded me of skyrim
feels like those gmod maps
CV-11s favourite game
The Librarian, but he is scared of the whole universe lmao.
Cheap dungeon/sewer assets, bought and thrown together in a pretty random way. Thats your sewer. I think you are reading too much into this.
They should add a ninja turtles Easter egg
1:56 💀
Ever played "Hobo: Tough Life"? It's got the same kinda' out of place creeps.
2:00 Maybe because I'm color blind, but I can't see at all what it says.
Can anyone else see what's there?
First one says "Go. Home"
Second one says "They Are coming"
