i'm loving the energy of "this place is definitely haunted but i gotta flip it so...." reminds me of a call of cthulu game i once played where we were all in debt to the mob and had to clear a haunted mansion of ghosts.
was genuinely hoping for the figure in upstairs window scare, but otherwise this is surprisingly well balanced between scare and cheeky reference to horror movie cliches
I love the concept of normally terrifying stuff, but the person acts completely casual about it. "Oi mask, I'm sick of you! If you're gonna change your face, change it to something useful!"
@@optimisticwatermelon There was a story I read that was basically that. The MC was so used to seeing ghosts he just saw them similar to how we see everyday people. Like there was one moment a ghost walked up to him and it’s eye fell out so he simply just picked the eye back up gave it to him and just told him to be a bit more careful next time. It was made funnier by him always being surrounded by normal people and how the average person would react in a situation like that, so just seeing them be terrified whilst he’s so casual just made it funnier to me.
There is nothing scarier than when something that's not scary just has some weird messed up creepy stuff in it, especially when it's more obscure and has no explanation.
I love spooky stuff and was so excited to experience all this, but guess what I did first thing before going into the house? That's right... I did the grave FIRST and basically ruined the whole experience! It autosaved so I wasn't able to go back and experience the whole thing, so that's why I watched your video and see what I missed... I'm so sad! 😭😭😭😭
Haha, I almost did the same thing. But stopped myself midway after I dug the hole. Thought: 'Hey, maybe I'm supposed to experience the house first.' I'm glad I didn't proceed with the burial. The experience was fun. But short. Wish there was more spooky stuff, but this game isn't a horror game, so I enjoyed the change of pace from casual and calming to casual and slightly spooky. :)
The scariest thing about this game is what it does to your memory pool if you're not lucky... I'm tempted, but I've heard a ton of bad things involving FPS drops.
Been playing it for a while(I'm very late to it). Maybe that's the thing of the past. It barely consumes a GB or so of RAM. Maybe it can go to 2GB? Either ways, runs decently( 40-60FPS) on GTX 1650 4GB.
Honestly I kind of love what you do with the house I'd buy it and not just because it's got to be on a discounted price because someone was murdered there
