  • Some great shots of Seth as he continues his grinding progress! He is progressing so much faster than I am and its great to be there with him as he improves.

Love the progression! That bowl at Lexington is no joke, especially with the pool coping. And you can see how much more confident he's getting on frontsides.

Yea, that overhanging coping on the bowl scares the daylights out of me! It doesn't look that bad from the side, but standing on it and looking down is intimidating for sure.

Looking good!... M12s are incredible skates, once you break them in... Breaking them in is a lot of work; but hey, if he can get proficient on an M12, other skates will feel much more natural.

Tell him to get his frames parallel with the ground. Right now, his heel is down and his toe up. Imagine trying to stand on the rail like that in your shoes! Getting the frame parallel to the ground will stop him falling off so quickly.

Why do beginners buy the hardest skates to to start off. I did exactly the same thing. I purchased the roces m12 for my first skate an struggled to learn on them because of the very small soul space. As soon as I switched my skate to the razors SL my progress took off an hasn't stopped.
