Jimmy Taylor was the other driver that tested and was disqualified by Sam. He knew he messed up and called Sam directly and Sam disqualified him. We're all allowed to test. There was no performance advantage to testing at an altitude track on a different surface in different air 10 days prior to the event we were going to. Does that make sense? Had it been at bowling green or a similar surface the days prior then yes

Not many people will own up to their mistakes so thank you for that. They really need to work on the punishment to drivers for breaking rules. There was no reason for this harsh of a penalty.

based on your description of the purpose of the rule, the rule should be rewritten. if there is not an event being held, that would attract NPK fans and take away from the NPK event, it is not the track where the NPK event is being held, testing anywhere is okay.

Jimmy, I have the utmost respect for everyone in the NPK series and realise they spend many hundreds of thousands of dollars to put on one of the best shows in drag racing anywhere on the world, for very little in return. Actually I’m sure this is a net negative for most teams. You did the right thing, you owned the mistake, you then showed up and promoted the series like a man. Anyone saying different isn’t worth yours or Jeff’s time of day. Good luck for the remainder of the season, you gotta really get after it now!
I think my only issue with this video is when you say, "i understand the rule, and im ok with it, i made a mistake, but it's jeffs fault." It can't be both. In the end, it's not the first car/driver that's been protested, and it won't be the last. If a hardline isn't set in stone, then there is no point in having rules to begin with. I just struggle with the "im accepting responsibility for my mistake/actions, but it's someone elses fault for the repercussions." In the end you cant make a pass down a dragstrip withen 200miles and 2 weeks of an event. Any dragstrip in that distance circle and timeframe runs the chance of a outcome not favorable to the driver/team and fans. Just because it holds zero benefit to the upcoming event is irrelevant. I didnt see a video about it being wrong when kye was protested, or when Ryan was protested. The argument of "may be DWd or may lose points or may lose money as the argument for "i didnt think anything would happen because it only said these things may/could happen if rules arent followed and how it shouldve been set in stone and not leaving it to adults to comprehend that the word may could mean consequences but it shouldnt because it doesnt say you would face any consequences. Straddling the fence of accepting responsibility and blaming someone else is in the wrong. Pick a side of the fence and stand on it.
I never said it was Jeff's fault. I called the producers and made them aware of what actually happened. The penalty according to the rule can be one of many.
Meaning they had options. Taped the video before the race day. Hoped I didn't have to make. Meaning I had already informed Sam and Jen. Already heard from all the racers who was trying to get me threw out. Had to be official. I posted the video the day we did it . We weren't hiding.
They don't want him there either. He got kicked out of ducks Events. Apparently ran off with ducks misses . Needs to take his buddy scrotum with him, they both know how to run their mouth and make fools of themselves
NPK doesn’t need to get to shitty with everybody racing in these events because now they’re relying on RUclips for outside views as far as TV goes and I think with it being no prep racing to begin with, drag racing conditions like you said, will change constantly and always gonna be sketchy no matter what

Anyone that has the slightest clue about drag racing would know that even testing your car on the same track ur racing on even the day before the race will not give u a performance advantage. I agree with the rule on the money side of it but I don't believe kicking u out of an event should be an option for punishment. Maybe small point hit or say u win the event it cost you a fine of the prize money. Hell you could have 2 tracks side by side and test on the left side track and race the right side track and it will be totally different results

I agree you broke the rule... and you owned it. Since the rule reads "may"... not "shall"... that leaves a big ??? Seems that rule should be clarified as to how "may" is interpreted. Perhaps it should be the old Roman thumbs up or thumbs down. Let the other drivers decide if can play in their sandbox this weekend.

We're all allowed to test. There was no performance advantage to testing at an altitude track on a different surface in different air 10 days prior to the event we were going to. Does that make sense? Had it been at bowling green or a similar surface the days prior then yes

based on your description of the purpose of the rule, the rule should be rewritten. if there is not an event being held, that would attract NPK fans and take away from the NPK event, it is not the track where the NPK event is being held, testing anywhere is okay.

Jimmy, I have the utmost respect for everyone in the NPK series and realise they spend many hundreds of thousands of dollars to put on one of the best shows in drag racing anywhere on the world, for very little in return. Actually I’m sure this is a net negative for most teams. You did the right thing, you owned the mistake, you then showed up and promoted the series like a man. Anyone saying different isn’t worth yours or Jeff’s time of day. Good luck for the remainder of the season, you gotta really get after it now!

I think my only issue with this video is when you say, "i understand the rule, and im ok with it, i made a mistake, but it's jeffs fault." It can't be both.
In the end, it's not the first car/driver that's been protested, and it won't be the last. If a hardline isn't set in stone, then there is no point in having rules to begin with.
I just struggle with the "im accepting responsibility for my mistake/actions, but it's someone elses fault for the repercussions."
In the end you cant make a pass down a dragstrip withen 200miles and 2 weeks of an event. Any dragstrip in that distance circle and timeframe runs the chance of a outcome not favorable to the driver/team and fans. Just because it holds zero benefit to the upcoming event is irrelevant.
I didnt see a video about it being wrong when kye was protested, or when Ryan was protested.

I never said it was Jeff's fault. I called the producers and made them aware of what actually happened. The penalty according to the rule can be one of many.

NPK doesn’t need to get to shitty with everybody racing in these events because now they’re relying on RUclips for outside views as far as TV goes and I think with it being no prep racing to begin with, drag racing conditions like you said, will change constantly and always gonna be sketchy no matter what

I believe you did the right thing and definitely a rule is a rule and it’s made for everybody to follow but I look at it like this, with it being no prep racing, it’s sketchy shit to begin with and there’s definitely no performance advantage in this early testing stuff To carry over to the very next event but anyway, it’s always fun racing to watch and I will always continue watching no matter what

Anyone that has the slightest clue about drag racing would know that even testing your car on the same track ur racing on even the day before the race will not give u a performance advantage. I agree with the rule on the money side of it but I don't believe kicking u out of an event should be an option for punishment. Maybe small point hit or say u win the event it cost you a fine of the prize money. Hell you could have 2 tracks side by side and test on the left side track and race the right side track and it will be totally different results
