@@Sloptit My Rage concert experience was COMPLETELY different. Went to BlockBuster's massive outdoor venue in Charlotte with a big grass bowl and reserved seating up front. Wu-Tang was exploding on the scene and touring opening for Rage. Their popularity was at it's peak & the crowd was so weird. Half of us were alt/metal/mosh pit guys. The other was actual hip hop fans & "White Urban Wanna be's". Wu-Tang came out, mumbled and shouted over each other so bad, were high as hell & you couldn't understand ANYTHING. Their audio was garbage, timing was off and Method sounded like he was rhyming with a brown paper bag over his mic.
They finish. The crowd sort of "floats" waiting to see what happens with Rage coming on. NONE of the people there for Wu-Tang knew what a Rage concert would be.
First song starts. All garbage goes to the center of the grass bowl, gets lit & a monster bonfire with a spinning, churning, screaming hurricane of testosterone starts up.
HALF THE VENUE LEFT BEFORE THAT SONG WAS OVER. The girl who came to be with me got scared and drove herself home.
The rest of us had an epic night. Method showed up as a duet with Zach at the end and gets drowned out by the crowd roaring and De La Rocha just exploded.

I met DJ Premier here in Stockholm, Sweden about 12-13 years ago after a show, and sometimes I think about that not only did I shake hands with an absolute legend, but the hand that I shook has shook hands with most of the best hip hop artists of all time, both living and dead. I don't know why, but that makes me feel happy.
