The origin of Top Dogs name apparently was cause he would always call Tom "Big Dog". Then one day Tom's friend asks Tom's dad, "if he's big dog, then what are you?" He said "I'm top dog."
@@Swingin69s I don't know if you're replying to me or OP, but I remember it was from one of the early YMH episodes when the discussed it. It's crazy to think about because I discovered the podcast from a co-worker while discussing his stand-up and that was almost 7 years ago and they are still going strong.

@@07zx14White Thank you for your response. It is hilarious and I am confident about everything in my life but I have an issue when it comes to intentionally trying to be funny. I'll tape it, you help me edit it and no, it will not be rehearsed. My current class graduates March 3rd and their last day I see them before tests is this Friday. I have several goofy freshman(in a good way) but the seniors actually try to do it right. Mind you, Tom does it the best. Have fun, Dude. : )

I wish I was experienced in video editing man, but honestly I'm not. I'd assume just the natural and casual flow would be more the style of video that YMH generally shows. I mean, I'll edit out the random pauses between clips or whatever. I just don't want to make you think that I'm a highly experienced editor.

This makes me so happy. I remember watching that Netflix special and “Sup Kane” Sealed the deal on my favorite comedian. I told my wife and kids this story and was like... no you don’t get it this dude is my favorite comedian! Its like seeing the story of something you, yourself would do. So much greatness!
