Renji vs. Uryu was incredible. I love them both getting the chance to show off, especially seeing all of Soō Zabimaru's new abilities. He still lost, but nobody can call him a fraud anymore. As for the Schutztaffel, Askin showed why he's secretly a JoJo and Lille's on an epic CoD killstreak. Too bad Gerard has nobody to fight yet, poor guy. Mayuri and Kenpachi's dynamic is also pretty funny, they're basically polar opposites. I'm looking forward to "BABY, HOLD YOUR HAND" next week, it's personally my favourite of the SS fights.
@@SeiyaTempest Yep this episode was a masterpiece from start to end, even outside of the main fight Renji Vs uryu. Just really hoping they maintain this quality of animation for coming battles because sh*t so goooood right now.
The fact that spiritual energy deprived Renji can conjure out bankai using his own bone showing that he has 'blade is me' philosophy in him . Even tho he lose, Renji still get W in my view, cause he has so much techniques of offence and defence in his arsenal . In the manga, it's only shown the Zaga teppo , and totally believe he changes into short distance fighter. But now, this episode really highlight how versatile he is, in short, mid and long range fighting.
@@sofarsogood8680 Exactly this! They really surpassed everything Renji done in the manga, it makes me more excited for his involvement in the final battle. And blade is me moment looked so dope by Renji but could also be that he had enough reatsu to summon one of the kings being the monkey one.

The ring could be his Hakusui Or Saketsu which are basically pressure points and it also mean Renji's soul reaper powers could be gone! I'm not sure if it was but seemed like it, hopefully not 😅

But , he needs to shoot both places to vanish the soul reapers power , not just one. So my theory is, renji still retains his soul reaper power but hard to recover his spiritual energy after this.
