Kubo rearranged the pacing of the story , maybe the best way to conclude this 3rd Cour was the Friend chapter. That fight and back story was highly anticipated and hyped by the Manga Fans before the Cour 3 started
I hope you're feeling better by now! This is my favorite episode of the cour so far! Half of it was new material and a couple manga scenes (Askin vs. Grimjow, Lille Barro sniping the Soul Reapers) were expanded or enhanced. Renji vs. Uryu never happened in the manga. This new take on both characters redefines the extent of their power. In the manga, Renji's defining fight was taking down Mask de Masculine after the Sternritter beat two Captains. That fight showed us everything we ever knew about Renji's bankai, until last week. Every move not seen in that previous fight - all the versatility of Sōō Zabimaru - that Renji learned after such brief training - it's all new! Renji's big motivation has always been to be Byakuya's equal and this portrayal of his power puts him a giant step in that direction. And Uryu didn't show-off a Holy Form in the manga, much less any of the new abilities he's shown in this fight and his previous fight with Ichigo. And both of those fights show Uryu using at least crippling attacks on both his former allies. At the end of his fight with Renji a circle appears on Renji's torso as he tries to use his bankai - and Uryu shoots him there. I think that may be either Renji's Soul Sleep or his Soul Chain. You caught the Mayuri "Dr. Evil" look! Thank you for finding the clip from three years ago. It's a nice perspective: you covered quite a lot in just 3 years! Speaking of the "Byakuya and Kenpachi Show..."

@@sakinah06 so far the only manga fight was ichibe vs yhwach. It just went like ichigo killed soul king, ukitake made the sacrifice, aizen was unsealed then ep 5 and 6 was same. The main highlight fights of this cour that were in manga start from next ep Don't be surprised when cour 4 also adds new fights They added like 5 fight this cour Uryu vs senjimaru Ichigo vs yhwach round 2 Orihime, chad ganju vs stern(best fight) Ichigo vs uryu Renji vs uryu
1:25 how the hell did that ost remind you of barbie? 😂 but whats halarious is people pointed out how ywach room is pink and they played "im a barbie girl" in an edit of him 😂 2:54 she said "gurl" to mayuri 😂 5:26, 5:56 askin is halarious 😂 8:07 we manga readers were speechless too at this anime original fight! 8:57 uryu summoning that arrow like a deck of cards was so CREATIVE 🔥
Imagine, one of the top 3 smartest characters in the entire series forming an "unwanted" group with the most barbarian Captain. This is just the start of Mayuris and Zarakis hilarious interactions. And no one knew that we needed and is the funniest team up we could ever get 😂

I hated sasuke now I hate uryu lmao. Everyone knows who the VA is but man he does a good job of pissing people off. I know how his arc goes read the manga but he still pisses me off 😂😂
