I enjoyed the restoration project. I just pulled my model 25 out of storage (vintage 1963 - I'm the original owner). It is in great condition but is missing the butt plate. I found a parts gun on Ebay with a good butt plate so I ordered it (it cost more than a $1 but it was less than an arm and a leg). Right after I ordered the parts gun I found a seller with just the butt plate...I couldn't resist...so I bought it. The seller of the parts gun said it was untested but all the parts are there. It looks like I will have a winter project lined up for restoration. No doubt I will be referring back to your video for help. Have a Blessed Day!
I had one back in the day but it disappeared many years ago. I still have the parts card and the plastic stock sold for $1.50 ! The only thing that I kept wearing out was the plunger head which sold for .50
I’m trying to figure out the year of a Daisy no 25 BB gun. It says Plymouth, MI, wood stock but there is a painting of a cartoon boy in the wood. I haven’t been able to find any image of it on the internet so I think it’s special to this particular gun. Any idea of how to tell the year. I’ve checked a lot of Google sites and they did not help. Thank you for any insight! And thanks for this video!
Sorry, I really have no idea. I bought mine for a buck and that's as far as my knowledge goes with this. I know they have produced them for about 100 years so the age and condition of yours would mean everything as far as value.
Yes sir, I'm always willing to do that. However I always give a disclaimer that I also work full time and have a family so it takes me longer than I would like. Oh I if you want to get rid of gun parts I would be happy to take 'em. Thanks for asking
I'm a big daisy BB gun collector. You did awesome job on the gun. Well done. Pat
I’ve got my eye out for a reasonably priced vintage Model 25. Great restoration!

Have fun with it and thanks for watching!
One just like it was given to me by my father for my tenth birthday.
I am on vacation but I think I have an old stock at home that you are welcome to.
I had one of those as a boy back in the fifties.

My 1st BB rifle was a Daisy Mod 25.
My magizine the screw on end broke off inside the barrel how do I fix this lol
Had one just like it! Bought it at a garage sale $6.00
Soften the stock in boiling water and correct the shape.
Does the ad ever go away?

If I did that on my carpet my wife would shoot me dead on the spot. 😆
Same carpet as my whole house.

Was that the old abutment washer you forced out with the extension? I tried that and seemed hard to come out . Am I not trying hard enough?
maybe if you still have the old stock you can make it a sawn off grip
Nice
I bet that's worth more restored isn't there a huge market for vintage daisy and red rider Ryder something like that
I have the very same gun , and would like to know what it's worth

I thought the Plymouth made had blued barrels. The after 58’s I thought was when they went to painted black.
Do you offer restoration services ?

the China ones come with wooden stock and are nice. Just saying.
In California, we call this an "assault rifle".
Informative but really needs editing.
Camera too close. Makes it impossible to see what your doing.
Thanks.
Did he just say the nineteen teens
lol, well what would you call them, the nineteen pre-twenties? Thanks for watching?
@@TheJayhawker also my BB rifle has been randomly shooting but I'm not pressing the trigger
@@sml1917 It's haunted! :-)
I have one of these guns, want to find out what its worth
Some of your video is to fast. and should have comments throughout the video.
Yes, unfortunately I have to balance between showing what detail I want to, and not making it so long that viewers loose interest. Thanks for watching
Don't think I would ever loose interest@@TheJayhawker
