Hey there once again all you beautiful People good to see you back here again with the melting Muppet. Just a quick simple one today as I really want to get that big 690 kg Motor melted down for next week and it's gonna be a tough job but a fun one , so if you like Copper be sure to check it out because I'm hoping for 40 or 50 kg 🤞🏻. Anyway, as I always say sit back relax enjoy the video and I hope you have an amazing weekend 👋🏻😃
I love watching these videos. 2 years ago when I was having a liver transplant due to medication reaction i would watch these videos when I was in the hospital and they helped pass the time. Thanks for the videos.
@edwardneal4819 yeah after a long road to recovery, i am now on a really low dose of antitejection meds and got a good bill of health from the amazing Dr's. I hope your brother is doing good.
I'm a retired policeman in The Netherlands. I broke my leg on a terribly, two years and a month ago. I discovered RUclips. Lots of trash, but a few nice gems. Your Channel is one of them. I like it a lot. Slow paced, humor and calming. It's one of my weekend treats, although, as I am retired, my whole life became one big weekend. Have fun and I hope to see more of your video's. Greetings.
My man, Ive just realized how well the sound of the burning forge puts you to sleep. I was watching during the dinner and i almost fell to sleep in my armchair. The ideal white noise. You could record it, and loop it into a 10hr video. Anyway, an awesome video
That new saw is great, nice looking ingots today I love brass melts the dry dusty slag is so cool on top of the liquid just super cool to me. Can't wait for the giant motor tear down and the feature length video...Have a great week bigD
@26:52 - Wednesday night the 6th i pan fried onions in olive oil, then a low grade beef filet in the pan and had those with heated refried beans, Bourbon and Beer for my beverage, turned out very tasty. this video is a Like 👍
I'm not a big fan of brass, but that was my favorite brass melt!! Generally, it looks clumpy and freezes to fast, but that clean brass melted like butter!! Give Daboys a Pat n Rub from Uncle Mark!!
Not a bad pour at all. Keeping the temperature just above the melting point helps a lot in maintaining the consistency throughout. The resultant ingots look very clean and not as, 'lumpy', as some we've seen in the past. A good effort overall. Turn that gate into a medal. It's the right shape for one! Random nonsensical comment? Pineapple disk drives make tortoise kneepads shiny.
Big stack D. I just wanted to say thank you for your videos. I bought a smelting furnace a few weeks ago and I finally found a hobby that I totally enjoy. I have been scrapping everything I have been able to get my dirty little hands on. I have learned so much from your videos. Thanks again for doing what you do.
Good morning from Dayton, Texas. Been watching for about 2 years now and enjoy every moment watching the melts and relaxing. Give the monkeys a scratch. As for the disc polish the inside to a mirror shine and hang as a mirror in the vault.
Your channel is the most consistent watching I do on RUclips. My dad is a farrier/blacksmith, and I grew up watching him working in the forge, and your videos always remind me of that.
Hi, i never leave a coment becouse i wacth the videos from the tv, but always wath all the advertising 😊 love your channel and i love your monkeys as well ❤ Im really excitet for the giant motor melt 🎉 I sent a big hug from Córdoba Argentina
Hey Bigstacked... An idea for the valve gate... give the indented area i high gloss polish and turn into 'Ancient Mirror' and either keep in vault or make it pretty for Mrs. StackeD... Just an idea
As a truck driver in Arizona I can tell you few things are more annoying than stopping for fuel, drinks and a quick windshield cleaning, only to drive through a swarm of bees 7 minutes later. 167 honey splatters dry very quickly at 65mph (105kph) when its 115 (46c) outside. Thankful for good aircon in the Peterbilt!
Thanks for another great melt always looking forward to watching your weekly melts helps clear the mind over coffee in the morning have a great weekend
I have watched your videos for about 2 years, I dont know why but I am hooked. I build and repair machinery from time to time and maybe one of those days I will cast some part for that purpose. Hi from Sweden.
NOTICE If you notice this notice then you will notice that this notice is not worth noticing. Keep up the good work and thank you for time and energy that brings families together.
I use your vids to escape for a bit from all the noise. ❤ I'm watching on my hubby's account while commenting on my own! I love your relationship with the magpies lol! ...and I always stick around for a monkey minute 😊
"Wow, that brass valve melted like butter! It’s fascinating to see how such a strong metal can turn into liquid under the right temperature. The colors during the melt were mesmerizing!"
Use the thing as a coaster. You saw it does amazingly! Also. I must say my favourite thing about you is how gentle and compassionate you are with animals. Even thing people would call vermin. Like an Ozzy Snow White. :) You're an amazing person
Was waiting for a good brass melt. When I first tried it about 1.5 years ago now it was hit and miss. Separating the zinc, etc. made a few messes. I’ll try again with your crucial suggestion to go slow and low. That’s probably the ticket. Of course, now that I have my devil forge instead of makeshift burner hopefully it will be better. Thanks for good advice as always. MELT ON!!
Colon Cancer (plus) survivor here from Canada. Guess whose videos helped me while away the misery and tedium of recovery from Cancer and all the life-threatening complications when I was in hospital? YOU, of course! As others have noted, there is nothing more soothing than the sound of the forge as I tried to sleep through the pain. Your quirky sense of humour is right up my alley, too. PS: Thank you for the correct spelling of "Aluminium." We Commonwealth folks need to keep the faith on proper spellings, eh?
I love that saw! I'm on the other side of the planet and we have exactly the same model in the shop at work. Different paint job and different brand, but from what I am seeing, exactly the same design. It's a neat little thing 😊
a big sluice valve there ! the landscape it´s looking great with all the rains of lasts weeks ! love your workshop hope mine looks similar one day ! big cheers from Argentina !
I love your Chanel, and you are definitely making great progress towards a secure retirement. Keep up the good work, and have fun doing it. Cheers Mate 🍻.

Can't wait to see it I'm going to take some of the pictures of my Kim that I built where I could start doing some melting
Free idea made a pathway paved in metal bricks. Something like aluminum. If you run into to a lot. Cute home addition as wel
Thanks Melting Muppet. you should get waldorf and statler to do commentary on one of your vids.
Awesome as always, maybe put a round mirror in it polish it up and give to miss BigD or put a picture in it of bullion and Ingot make it like a frame.
Great stuff as always
What was the reason to melt the brass slowly for
I'm starting out and did some copper

It's amazing how efficient things are when they're water cooled. That saw is a beast!

Good arvo from Sydney ! Love all the vids think it's about time for a copper Magpie to sit watching over the stack ! If anyone can do it it's you
You got my vote! Been awhile since you've done a large art piece.
Wow! You mastered the knack of melting brass without the Zinc smoke. Nice pours!
I agree a night melt with BRASS and a COLD ONE OR 2
Great and funny at the end video, can't wait for the big motor melt. See ya next week. 😊
Cheers! Yeah, it's going to be a fun one! See you next Friday.

Just leaving a random comment. Thank You for all the years of relaxing content.
Thanks mate, cheers for the random comment! Cheers for the support!
I recommend using table salt when melting brass. It will melt, forming a passivation layer preventing zinc from oxidizing
I'm a try that
Thank you. Very enjoyable. Your dogs are wonderful.
Much love and blessings to all ❤
Stay safe and be kind 🙏
What you are early today I like it MATE!!!!!!! good morning from Wakefield, Ma.

Morning from Glasgow, Scotland. Give the boys a scratch for me.
I know it's immature, but this made me laugh cuz my grandfather used to call his testicles "the boys." So, thank you for the laugh. 😂
"The boys" are nothing but trouble, there nuts!
0:22 I love watching this tree. It's shadow must be pure bliss for the Australian summer. Plus you have it so beautifully shaped.
