    I want to see you take that gold and try to make a Cuban link chain. From all the videos I've seen on RUclips it seems relatively easy. I really want to see if the average person can make one. Because I would like to give it a shot myself.

    Beautiful cast piece. Some times, we need to be happy with our work even if its somewhat imperfect.
    That die maybe of over-size in area because of which the pour might have got irregular corners.

    What about the bars we see at Fort Knox. They are literally mirror finished on all sides? Do they make them big then cut them down and polish them?

    I feel like I’ve seen you use propane vs acetylene in some videos. Do you have a preference or is there like a reason why you would use one vs the other?

      As a general rule, anything over 2oz of material I tend to use the oxiacetylene torch. But MAPP gas does the trick for for under 2oz.

    Hi Jeff, that is some gold... Fascinatting for me is, that it is #006... Does it mean, there are 5 more like this one?
    Yesterday I tried my first cupelling, as expected, complete disaster, cupel I made cracked, gold in micro beads difused in the bismuth oxide cake... Learnig curve is a b... especially in the beginning...

      This was #005. But yes, there are a few more out there! Each are a bit different.
      Cupelling is outside of my scope of knowledge, lol I wouldn't have a clue where to start. Hope it's fun to learn!

      Ciao io ho preso i processori quando ho recuperato il metallo giallo lo fatto con acido nitrico 22 karati ma la traccia nn c'era questo per me è metallo 99.9 giallo 24karati e io volevo un video per capire meglio

      Buongiorno ho preso la pietra di paragone quella nera per fare il saggio con acido nitrico faccio una striscia gialla nella pietra metto una goccia di acido 18 karati 22 karati e la striscia sparisce giusto per me e oro puro 24 karati giusto
