The most important thing is to practice every script at least three times before hitting the cord, we go back into the script and all CAP words that I want to accentuate that helps remind me to put more feeling into it. Great tips in this video. Larry
Wow!!! This video has taught me a lot! *Thank You* so much! It is certainly an art to use a teleprompter and sound natural! You've just earned a New Subscriber too! Keep up the great work!
If you have time, could you give me some feedback? The first few minutes of my latest video (on my channel), I used a Teleprompter for the very first time. Any tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😀
@@UTECHPIA Sure. First off, you're already doing really well! Great energy and a nice big smile. So just make your text a little smaller and don't read so much. To help you do that, take my free teleprompter training at the website. Just click on the card or something. That should iron out the rest of it. Then it's just a matter of a little practice.
Steven, Wow, you're fast at responding! Thanks for the positive feedback, and excellent tip of using smaller text. I'm not sure how you knew.... but you're right, I have my text SUPER large! And I read each sentence, word for word, because I'm afraid of going off-script and not knowing how to get back on track. Thanks for the tip! Thanks for the free Teleprompter training guide as well, I'll sign up in a bit! 👍
I'm just starting this journey now, nothing else works with digital marketing, but storytelling has been around for millennia, so I hope this will work!
Late visitor. Thanks for the video. My first teleprompter will come next month, I appreciate your suggestions. Have written one script and will do more. Mostly for practice. I have heard that a simple sentence with one idea can be termed “atomic”. Avoiding “and” aids in this.
@@EdwardKilner it’s gate. But too much to explain in a brief comment. It involves starting out in one way and ending up in another. Ronald Reagan was considered a master of it.
I have everything set up now following your advice, greenscreen, lights, and a teleprompter. It all works great. Thankyou so much for your great videos and your help !!! Just one question: When you do your little split second look to the side, where do you actually focus from your perspective. I am trying to recreate that and it looks unnatural when I do it. I mean, what do you look at, or do you unfocus your eyes? Any hints would be welcome.
Great video, Steve Thank you. How do you get to be confidently and natural on camera in a such manner?.... Q. As I always have my whole concept in mind, what if I can convert and mirror-flip my slides using PPT Mirror tool for my iPad and use it in a teleprompter, Would it be a better option to level up my video quality, especially talking heads?
@@StevenWasher Yes, the PPT Mirror tool allows you to display the slides in a TTL and has a bluetooth function for remote or pedal page-flip to switch the slides.
@@StevenWasher I also heard people talk highly about the PPT Mirror tool ( to display the slides through the lens in a teleprompter) as great option to keep eye contact and level up video quality, especially talking heads.
hello, thanks for the nice video, i have a question regarding the green screen, i did keying perfectly without any problems but i was wearing a black suit and here is my problem. if you look at the black area of the suit u can see that its not perfectly colored and there is some noise, i tried increasing the light but still getting the same problem, any advice on how to get rid of the noise on the black areas, actually i can see some in your video too but maybe you are not bothering yourself about it and you know how to manage it, please advise
Try changing your background to de-emphasize the outline. In other words, reduce the contrast. That should take care of the problem if you "did keying perfectly".
@@StevenWasher Thanks for your reply, maybe i didn't explain well, what i meant is that areas that is dark ( the suit ) tend to pixelate so i am trying to get rid of that. if there is a way to contact you i will be so thankful
Another great video !!!! How about doing one about not SCREAMING or YELLING at the camera as so many seem to do. This annoying way of conveying their message makes me want to click the video off as fast as possible !!
Good tips, although I'm wondering how to deal with text that flows by at a fixed rate and how to get comfortable enough with the timing to look away from time to time.
Wow! The studied and exact hand positions, the spiritual references--most especially the "innate creativity" that'll be released! (Not to mention speaking from the higher self.) This is obviously a spiritual influence video, not a 'tips on how to read from a teleprompter' video! And remember, a teleprompter displays the script backwards. Maybe his name is shortened for Brain-washer?

Hello, Thank You For Advice and Explaining Us.
Clear enough. Were you using teleprompter when you made this video? I am kidding.
Thanks for this!

Such an entertaining way to present an informative message. You taught a lot more than the named topic today. Very inspiring.

"And" can be a beautiful thing if performed with a false gate, rather than read.
@@StevenWasher Sorry, what is a false gate or maybe gait?

I love the background in the beginning of your video. Where can I get that backgroud? If you don't mind sharing.
I believe I got that at videoblocks.com. They also have images and music, so it's kind of a one-stop shop. :)
I just love everything about this video! Steven you are a genius. I needed to see this today
Glad to hear it arrived in the nick of time! :)

As long as you can display those slides in a TTL (through the lens) teleprompter, I would go for it!
