As a former military member, I have LONG been annoyed by Lee Greenwood’s song simply because it ignores the HUNDREDS of women who have also fought and died for our country. Some of them dressing as men to “pass the muster” they felt so strongly about defending the country. I live at a Veterans Home, and, yes, there are far fewer of us, but we are not to be ignored!
