I've found celibacy can be a great phase to go through if you're perhaps unsure if you want to remain in it long term. After my past relationships, I chose to stay celibate for 1 1/2 years to heal and get over a lot of my accumulated trauma.
The long-term goal of celibacy (or karezza only) is defo where the potential is at though. 👍

True before starting nofap journey i used to think it would help me to attract more girls but after 70 days in this journey my mindset has completely changed now i think about spiritual growth wordly things have become less important for me
If you have the mindset of using celibacy to attract girls, you won't go far in it and you won't be true to yourself. Live it as a way to honor God/Jesus Christ. That's where the strength comes from.

That being said, there's something incredibly dark about being dependent on your urges, or rather lust, porn, masturbation. It does ruin the "soul". I write this as a non-believer. That's right, I don't believe in God, but I do believe that some form of a creator does exist, that this spiritual energy is all around us, and that we ruin the spirit within ourselves, taint and corrupt it by reducing ourselves to the level of an animal.
Fellas, your count/streak does not matter when compared to working on what matters. Practice purpose over pleasure no matter the weather.

Before and after my first year-long excursion into celibacy, I did many shorter streaks of a few months each; but it was after the year that I seriously missed it whenever I wasn't on it. I would have embraced permanence except for just not being willing yet to give up all future orgasms. That seemed like too much to ask! Then I realized that a man has only one at a time, so that was never the question. The only question was whether I'd rather continue my semen retention or have the one next orgasm. Put that way, it was a no-brainer, and I was able to enter my permanent celibacy quickly and enthusiastically. That was nearly 5½ years ago. I'm DONE, and I've never felt closer to God, more fulfilled, or more masculine.

This is the kind of sex education that should be taught in schools.
I must say that I am thankful that I've found spaces like this at an early age. I first discovered nofap and the whole self-development community when I was 15 or so in 2020. Since then I've had great success and progress in multiple areas of my life but recently as I near my 18th birthday, I've been stumbling quite a bit with my practices, included nofap and sr.

Recently got out of a unhealthy relationship. My mind was clouded, but I had this desire to withdraw from sex and women.

This is an interesting perspective. For some reason I always see men talking about celibacy. I would seriously love to see this guy's natal birth chart.
Personally, I don't understand any of this. It's not because I'm not spiritual. I am a very sexual being, my sexual energy is a very deep part of me. No, I'm not a hoebag either lol. Sex can be a deep means of self expression and connection to others. It's very intimate.
We are spiritual beings having a 3d meatbag experience- on PURPOSE. We are humans on purpose. So it's my belief we should not shun our ego, but live with it in a healthy way. There are physiological benefits to releasing. It can be actually good for your body.
You can grow spiritually and still experience the human life. But if it works for you, and others as I can see then I'm glad for you all. Anything to help with increase positive vibes and mental/emotional health. Good luck you all ❤✌️💜✨️
I’ve been celibate since June I’ve been starving my dopamine sensors of late to be more at peace and less reactive to my brains demands for pleasure be it alcohol , sugar , etc
I believe sex is an act of destruction and hate and feel amazing being celibate 🙏

Catholic Church has celibacy as a part of the priesthood but unfortunately many men are now afraid of committing to this type of life ..

No convincing of oneself. Arrive at celibacy when you're ready. Avoid bypassing any kind of sexuality.
