For me , the urge is still there ...it’s like a program running in the background (3 years now). When I hear the conversation/games , I realize I’m doing it for the rights reasons... But sometimes that itch needs a scratch- I just can’t get w/the bull going on with dating these days.
As a woman, I’d just like to know if the urge will ever stop hitting me so hard when I’m ovulating. Omg it’s terrible! I’ve been celibate since May 2017 and it’s been pretty easy for me because I never liked sex anyway, but when I’m ovulating I be thinking about it all day everyday 😂😂😂😂

I’ve been celibate for a loooong time and let me tell ya! Sexual energy can very easily be transmuted into creative power. So many people get their energy taken away without realizing it by not being mindful of the power of root/sacral energy. Kundalini awakening becomes so much easier once celibate (an alkaline diet helps too). Makes dating so much easier too! A repellent for losers & time wasters.
I feel like when you don't focus on how long you been going without sex and you focus more on what is important in your life. You don't even realize you going with out I say after a month but not at the beginning.

Wow. About 5 years ago I decided to go cold turkey with marijuana, alcohol, and partying. Fast forward a year I decided to go celibate(3 years celibate) A year after that I quit smoking cigarettes cold turkey. That whole time period 100% strengthened me as person and I am so proud of the Will Power that I hold and have manifested.

I remember declining sex from a girl I was seeing one time and told her that I'd like to know her a little better before we let the relationship reach that point. After mentioning that to my friends, they looked at me funny. I tried explaining to them that sex is a very important thing for me, and as long as our energies aren't compatible, then nothing will ever happen. I wasn't celibate around that time, but this has made me realize that this is a path I should've started a very long time ago. I must say I'm looking forward to starting the journey because I really do need to see a sense of growth in my life. I need to see some change. This has been one of those things that I've been pestering myself to start doing.

Hey, it's a positive thing because those boys likely only wanted the sexual part of the relationship over anything else. That way you're only accepting people in your life that understand you and vibe with you. It's important to hold up our own values not just because it's an important part of self but it also takes away all that is not welcome in your life, sets boundaries.

There needs to be a celibacy dating app 😫 I’ve been celibate most of my life. Never really had that strong body desire to make me attracted to a stranger. It takes several months of knowing someone to even feel a little attracted to them. I just want companionship. Sex brings in a lot of complication that is not necessary for love and friendship.
I’ve been celibate since November 2017. Chopped all of my hair off shortly after I made the decision. And everything toxic began to fall off my life (friends, damaging thought-patterns, unhealthy relationship, etc). It was almost like a rebirth, inner healing began.

Life put me on a course of celibacy. Initially, I had NO intentions on being celibate. My heart was severely broken my someone I loved deeply. I went through a melt down where I didn't even want or desired to be touched by anyone else... Honestly, not even desiring my own self satisfaction. There truly is something uniquely interesting about this journey. Just being totally honest here... First thing I noticed was the purity of my natural private scent. Afterwards, I grew into this stance of NOT wanting to share myself with anyone deemed less than capable of a true and worthy commitment. Now that Im a year in, I ENJOY this original me that's morphing!!! This me, I'd long forgotten... Immature and unexplored, but AMAZINGLY and surprisingly empowering. I think I'm going to look into this celibacy thing some more. I'm NOW intentional about being this way😍.

This is what im going through right now
Every woman has her own scent down there. When you are sexually active you can initially smell the change in your armpits (real talk) and down there. Even if you are truly cognizant of your own body cleanliness routine. Of course your nutrition, vitamins and water is significant in the taste and scent of the noni. Anything that enters you, shifts pheromones and your natural chemistry. Here's the formula:. (1) taste & smell your own noni before sex, after sex. (2) Take 3 months hiatus from any sexual activity. (3) Drink alkaline water. (4) Use unscented liquid soap on the noni. (5) massage after shower shea or Mango butter daily on the noni for suppleness and returning to natural tightness. (6) Weekly checks on the smell and change in scent. You'll even notice no scent noni after a vigorous workout.
All of this change and you don't even have to be plant based. Imagine what a fruit and plant based noni would manifest. Tell me how it works for you.

I honestly have been feeling convicted to start celibacy after experiencing a huge breakup and recently feeling exhausted from having such meaningless sexual interactions with men for the sake of their gain or satisfaction. this is the coolest thing i have ever experienced on here. when i decided to consciously begin my journey of celibacy last year, i also completely stopped drinking, smoking weed, recreational drug use (mainly shrooms and things of the sort). and then i just did not want to eat meat, dairy and highly processed food and eventually began fasting too. it seems that conscious choice led to me making better decisions for my physical self. and i slipped up once, all at once after 9 months (in december) just to see if i really did not want sex, alcohol, meat and weed anymore and it somehow helped me know, absolutely know, with conviction that celibacy is somehow an anchor for me that influences other decisions I make. i'm just so moved by the similarities in how it all began for both of us :) i can see myself where you are now (in this video) in a few years to come and i cannot wait.

I'm Crying. Sorry. I literally got on my knees and "Said a Little prayer for Me" before I typed this. This is the 1st time I've spoke out loud regarding being celibate and I'm extremely sensitive even saying the word out loud to myself. My husband of almost 30 years had a heart attack and died in front of me and after more than 5 years I'm just now saying both out loud and I'm the only one in the room. I have focused on anything and everything except getting thru it and The Real Housewives are not doing it for me any more.. I feel like its time that I say the word but its scary even saying the word celibate and it's hard talking about sex and the death of my husband in the same breathe. I am saying this now to connect with someone else going thru the same. My heart is still broken and I can't hold back tears even typing this. My children are grown and living their own lives and maybe this will help me move forward with living again, I don't know yet and I might not for a while or longer... The dots are just not knowing the right words to say, if there even is a right word. My heart goes out to anyone that has gone thru a life changing tragedy of the kind. Losing someone you love so much just knocks the wind out of you and I feel like I had to learn to breath again, if that makes sense. I think I'm calling this little paragraph "Said a Little prayer for Me" because I've said so many little ones to help me thru it. I have to trust in God that he will help me thru this too. I have heard so many men in this day say "they can't be celibate" but the truth is most of them simply won't try because of too many choices. Personally, on my journey, I have been celibate since 2013. No reason other than feeling a need for purity and calmness in my life. Studying tantra helped make my decision and I know it was the right one.

I'm going into my fifth year of being celibate. In the past, I have only engaged in long term relationships, but there was always some major flaws with the dynamic, in spite of how good it looked to people from the outside. I've had my heart broken and I've done the same to one or two others, It's not so much that I am afraid I will be on the losing end if I embark on another one. It's more that I devoted so much of my mental and emotional energy for years and now I want to direct it towards other things. Even then, while the relationships were happening, I knew deep down inside that I should have been applying that time and energy toward my own creative endeavors, but I was afraid to and so I developed long term distractions. Now that I am intentionally single and plan to remain so indefinitely, I am able to focus on my own creative goals and intellectual interests. It's been very rewarding and I can only imagine it will get better as time goes on. Thank you for sharing your story. I suspect there are more of us than most people would believe.

3 years and two months celibate and counting. Self control is great and I automatically know if a man is truly meant for me or not. I can tell if they're here for the journey or the season.
I went four years without sex, avoiding women to focus on my business and mental health. I did end up feeling reclusive, and getting back into a relationship was nervracking. The girl I got back with was a bad choice and I regret giving her my energy as she turned out really toxic and used me.
As soon as we broke up I was over her and happy to be back with myself, so self driven and motivated.
It's unfortunate that society is so sex driven, it's hard to be with a woman and deny them sex, I've lose two relationships that way, but I've gained much self respect. yes! i feel back to my purity now. its like Dr Sue Morter talks about in the energy codes. Our energy gets dispersed when focused upon shit thats not of our core frequency. i think the sex and weed can be re-introduced later once we're consciously aware of how and why we're doing it. It has be to very intentional

So many people have unique experiences with weed... some people it saves lives medically... others it helps to achieve a centered level of consciousness and others it just bugs them out for some reason... its all personal. At the same time, it not something everyone needs to do, we all got the freedom of choice!

Been practicing this for a year and a half. In raising my consciousness and healing myself, I have developed a better understanding of sacred sexuality.
I'm in this for over two years now, mostly because of my last relationship that pushed me to this journey of self discovery 🌺, but never really decided to do it fully and for a certain amount of time. I'm so glad you mentioned how important it is to maintain celibacy even in our thoughts towards someone, because through this period I could notice my mind and energy going towards sexuality very fast with many men I encountered, even without my intention of doing so, like an urge to be close and in love. And I think it's mainly because I never really set an intention for total celibacy, but now I am. So gratefull for this info, much blessings to you! 🙏🏼✨
I've been an incel for so long I finally decided to choose celibacy just to give myself a break from feeling like a failure. It's like going fishing for nine years and not even getting a nibble. Also, I've always noticed I seem to feel depressed and hopeless a few days after masturbating and that period lasts from several days to a couple weeks. And when I masturbate and watch porn, even just once a week, I find it's easier for me to slip back into drinking and smoking herb and cigarettes.
Anyway, I like what you said about celibacy being an intentional mindset. I only just started and still lust for the many attractive women I see around me (I live in a college town near a beach), but I'm excited to feel my creative energies return and to hopefully lose interest in women gradually. I might even choose lifetime celibacy going forward. Thanks for this encouraging talk.

Im almost a month celibate, 2 weeks off weed, next steps alcohol, and cigarettes. I want to vibrate on a much more clean devine energy, and one day find a partner, but my focus is myself and my children my goal is 1 year maybe more depending on how I feel!!! Thank you for sharing the intimate details of your experience, I truly feel the power of this. I'm so grateful to be increasingly encountering others who share this path. I relate to this very much, as the order of my transformation is very similar in regards to celibacy leading to letting go of habits such as consuming alcohol, weed (and for me, even caffeinated coffee). I got a lot of strange looks and probing questions over the last 5 years, even labeled monastic by some, lol.
The level of clarity, self-compassion, and authentic expression obtained through this kind of journey is ineffable, and I have an immense amount of appreciation for the timing in which this truth was revealed in my life.

I have learned so much about myself as a Spiritual being having a human experience over the past three years of abstaining from sex. It’s a journey that I’m taking my time on. I’ve been able to purge people, food and activities that don’t serve my higher self. Becoming a vegan was very transformative.
