Temporary display in Carbarn 3 will be open around September 2025. Full RTHC is subject to funding (i.e. donations) and probably not till the late 2020s at the earliest.
I'd like to but currently the air supply of all cars is drained. It was drained to allow the cars to be transported safely (hooks to keep the trucks more secure require deflated airbags)
That "ready to depart" sound is oddly nostalgic for me. I often sat in the first car when riding BART and would always hear that sound.
nostalgic chime for me
You know when the expectation for the History Center will be completed?

How is the car being powered? Show the power supply.
36 volt DC, battery power. To be shown in a future video.
That v.2 door chime sounds so much better than the v.1 original weird lazy fart/honk sound.
no
Can they still move?😅
If they had 1000v power, they could move themselves. Only low voltage battery power so they can't really move.
Yo ATP you got anymore legacy Bart plates for sell left?
Some legacy parts will be for sale sometime next year from Western Railway Museum.
@ATPTransit I’ll be waiting then!!
Where is this at?
Western Railway Museum in Suisun City, CA
You should sound the big air horn off sometime
