It has been almost a year since my Ford F-150 video came out, which is the second video on the channel. I will leave that video up as there are MAJOR differences in this version vs the other version.
This video was not requested by anyone else, I requested it myself.
And if your clip did not get into the video, sorry about that, however, I am not fixing it because this video is too long.
This is probably the first-ever chime evolution video on a specific car to be 6 minutes long!
Disclaimer: 2022 present is actually 2021 present. Sorry about that.

1992-1997 (Lower Trims): *BZZZZZZZZ*
It went from an annoying buzz to a ding to the current Ford jingle
With the F-series joining other ford products going from a buzzer to a ding and ending with the current jingle as part of the evolution into the startup chimes.
Owner of a 2014 F150 here. The chime is always the most welcoming. I also had a 2016 ((sadly totalled))

Like how some of the later models have a small screen that plays a built Ford Tough video seen in the advertisements on TV.
The alt 2021 doesn't happen with just the aftermarket stereo. The lower packaged XLTs do that new. It might have to do with the infotainment system level but it doesn't do that only with aftermarket stereos. Other trims will though.

No, it's an aftermarket stereo, and the new Ford chimes rely on Ford's SYNC stereos only.
Or, this happens when it can't play it over the speakers.

As ford had a buzzer in the 1980's and into the 1990's on low trim options as the upper trims got a chime when the modern chime after 2010 is one's favorite. With the new Audi chime also shared with bentley sounds like a door bell.

my chime changed to the older one on my 2016 ford after putting in an aftermarket stereo , any suggestions how to get the regular chime back?

F 150 is a nice pickup truck but honestly after 2003 they went to crap, they focus more on looks than performance I mean a Silverado and Sierra went to crap after 2007 in general. 🤔
I find that Ford is more expensive now with all of the screens and luxury parts. I mean it is expected now due to the material prices now, but still it kinda is annoying. And GM is more of a money pit king now because of their quality. :/
