I bought a big set of BUZBE boxes two years ago. I LOVE THEM. I have to assume that these new basics are worth their salt. If the plastic is the same, it is itself a rust inhibitor.
When I rig a bait with an Ozark that doesn’t have a ton of girth, I use a regular hook to thread the line through the bait (the first half of rigging a TX rig). Then I tie on the Ozark rig and pull the eye back into the bait. The action difference you get from the weight being spaced out is worth the extra step.
Thanks Nerds! I just got a Dobyns Sierra finesse casting rod today! I haven't tried it yet but will tomorrow. I had a hard time deciding which to try 1st. I went with the 701c, I almost tried the 691c but decided 3 inches shorter is not going to make a difference. I knew I wanted the faster action for micro texas rigged plastics. I think if they made a 651c I would have gone with it but didn't try the 650c because I wanted it for bottom contact more than hard baits. I have to say I love the way the 701c feels with my Conquest bfs. It reminds me of my older G-Loomis imx rods that are now about 30 years old. I like the buzzbee boxes but will probably spend the 10 dollars more for the best one.
I appreciate all the reviews you guys do. I hope to try some kind of BFS tiny glide next. I really like the Era but unfortunately they have been out of stock for a long time, and they are 40 bucks, but the prices don't matter if they are not in stock......FishOn...jimi

I'm getting my dad the Swarm 28 bag for Father's Day coming up. What's the most optimal way to load it out? Just use the 4 Colony 28s and can put a medium cube on top? Wasn't sure if there was some kinda combo using a deep or thin that was more efficient.
The swarm bags are really designed for the 4 boxes it comes with. Those colony 28s hold a ton of tackle!
